The winner of the desktop containing most shortcuts is... ...I think my desktop:

and than I ask myself: "Am I a game freak?"

I think it would freak me out to see SC4 as my desktop background.  "OH MY GOD DID I LEAVE IT OPEN" or something would be my first thought upon opening my laptop.  It's kind of an appealing idea, though.

Dodge Viper for early summer, although the return of the rainy season has made me want to switch back to the Grand Cherokee or one of the Wranglers in the rain I have.

lol, I will never think that.

A Dodge... Why everyone loves American cars? Swedish and Italian cars are better! :P

  1. Koeningsegg (Sweden)
  2. Pagani (Italy)
  3. Audi (Germany)
  4. BMW (Germany)
  5. McClaren (England)

(The best cars in the world)

EDIT: I forgot Chevrolet Corvette (USA)

I'm not allowed to like American cars?  Even though I'm American? :whatevs:   What about Japanese cars?  They don't make great cars here?  Where I live?  And here I was thinking that they made many different cars to suit many different people.  I'll repeat that to myself every night before I go to sleep: "Swedish cars and Italian cars are better," ctrl+c, ctrl+v.

Well, over the years I've had a large number of cars (one or two at a time).  I think the best one was our last Odyssey Van made by Honda.  Held us with teen-aged kids, groceries, dogs, and yachting supplies all at the same time.

My '98 Accord has gotten me everywhere I need to be since I started driving. I love Honda. And I intend to buy a new Accord of what ever year it is when my '98 can no longer go another mile. I'm inherently pessimistic about most American cars for their shorter longevity and average fuel mileage which hasn't changed much in the last 10 - 15 years. Not to mention all the huge SUVs and trucks we make.

Anyway, my current desktop! Not sure what city this is, but it's cool.

Actually, I think its Windows 7, but choosing a language for Windows usually results in all defaults changing to that language.  I switched to Chinese once by accident, and if I hadn't know what I'd done, I'd have had to reload my machine.

Yes, but you need the space set up for four western adults and not for four Japanese adults.  Some Japanese cars remind me of the seats on Air Canada.

Well, you could back it out to something like Ubuntu 7.04.  Worked fine on my old Windows XP box.

I do have some brony fan-art as desktop backgrounds. Some of these look pretty bad-ass:

(I love darker stories and art! Remember, MLP:FIM is actually a light-hearted kids animation series...)

Also, this is clearly not the standard Windows 8 UI...

Wow, Maarten. You're really a roadgeek! Is that last picture the Prins Claus Plein, den Haag (the Hague)?

Actually probably I'm going to install Linux Mint 15 MATE or maybe KDE. But I have the problem that the computer doesn't start with the USB anymore.

Strange.  Consider getting your BIOS updated or fixed.

Great movies they are. For those who don't understand what LOTR means: Lord Of The Rings. I had pictures of part 2 on my desktop, but it bored me fast. I think I'm going to use Olympus has Fallen posters as my background. I know it's not a very good story, but there's action in it! (actually, I am too young to see OHF, because kijkwijzer (Dutch sort of PEGI) says I have to be 16 or older if I want to watch that movie, but I'm only 13 :P )

I tend to use personal photographs rather than something published by others.

uhh how do i take a picter of my desktop? o-o

id post mine but i donno how

With the key Impr Pant|PetSis. In Windows It will copy a picture of your desktop, and then paste it into a photo edition program, like Paint or Microsoft Office Picture Manager. In Linux just press the key and the system will ask you to save it. Then upload it to a picture server, like ImageShack, Imgur, Tynipic, etc... even Facebook and Twitpic can work as that.

An update of my WinXP desktop.
