SC4@simtropolis; basically i felt that the design didn't really work all that well and i sort of stopped working on it. I might bring it back in the future, but for now it is not likely to be completed, sorry. I do have some more projects comming out soon so keep checking back here for some nice bat surprises.

Hi everyone, as promised, i have a new early screenshot of my new bat Five WTC. It is still very early on in terms of progress and i welcome any ideas anyone may have for this tower. I myslef think that the overhang looks a bit oversized but i don't know if i will change this as of yet. Also note that i am also currently working on Two WTC and will hopefully get some images uploaded in the near future.

Hi everyone, sorry for being away again for so long, gotta stop making a habit of this lol. Anyway got a couple of new projects in the pipeline including the next part of my New WTC project, 2WTC. The other project is the re-modelled version of my 2008 BAT the Alexander Building. After looking through the comments about the BAT i've made a considerable number of changes. Hopefully it can be released onto the stex in the next couple of days. Here's the version 2 in the pictures below.

His work is already recognized all over the sim communities, more so than many people who own 3ds max! I'd like to think BATters are judged on their work and not what programs they run

Thanks for the comment Gnarologist. At the moment i still do not have proper access to a version of 3Dsmax so i'm still BATing in gmax. I know the problems that come with gmax BATs but i'm still steadily trying to improve the models best i can.

On another note i will soon begin work on my next project. This will be another blast from the past that was never originally completed and will be brought back to life due to popular demand. This will be the Crescent Tower as seen in my very first post on this thread. Of course the design will be tweeked and updated a little but as soon as i get some spare time i'll get to work on it, that and 2WTC which i'm still aiming to have a Christmas release for.

@fabricio - why don't you like it? this is a recreation, not an original work, so imho, you shouldn't say you don't like because of a material that is close to the RL look. Plus, there's plenty of room on the STEX for all kinds of buildings, so don't shoot him down because you're tired of contemporary architecture. Everyone has the right to create what they desire.

nycc06, why aren't you in the NYBT?! we really need active members!

@PBGV103: nycc06 want knows what we think, so i said mine!! I think a nice building like this could have a better windows texture!!! And yes everyone does what they want, it's only my opinion!!! The model of the building is very nice!! Realy, but windows texture i don't like, but who am i to decide it....

@fabricio83st: His textures are the same as buildings on the stex because those are his buildings on the stex. This building is meant to match the other WTC buildings, and thats why he's using that same texture. Its looking great nycc06!

Thanks for the comments you guys, personally i can see that the window textures are a bit darker than what they were in the official 2WTC renders, so I've made a lighter version to match the colour of the windows used in my 1WTC and 4WTC BATs so it will blend better when the complex is completed. The new version is below right. let me know what you think.

Another update on 2WTC, i've gone with the lighter window design for now. This render shows the whole building at its current stage. Let me know what you think so i can make any changes needed.

It looks good to my untrained eye. From what I see this will be a great addition to the game.
