Nice, Raysfan16. Noticed how the sports complex was named after Joseph Leland. I'd like to hear the story of all of downtown, from the first skyscraper to the newest building.

Wonderful start, nice downtown and good choice in towers for it, very modernized.

and even though my name means 'old' I'm really quite pimp,

Welcome to Loretto Valley, elemented9. I'm glad you like my pics, and congrats on being the first poster!

Hey, N. You're right about Joseph Leland! Just a little 'easter egg'. Don't worry, the history of Downtown will come in the middle of next week maybe.Come back soon!

Welcome to Loretto Valley, chrissc94. Thanks for the kind comments and I hope you come back for more!

Hey Vince, glad you like the beginning! Come back soon!

Glad you came from my endless chat advertising, SimNation. 9.gif Glad you like Harahan and you will see a region view eventually!

Hi, tahill79. Thank you for the comments and I hope you come back for seconds!

Welcome back to my CJ's, Dan. Glad you like Downtown and the stadium area, and you get extra points for using 'edifices' correctly in a sentence!

Welcome to Loretto Valley, NMUSpidey. Thank you for the kind comments, come back again!

Good to see you drop by, Hawkeye9. It's good to hear that this one update was worth the wait. Thanks for the luck, and you better come back! 9.gif

Good to see you back, CG. Glad you like my work so far, and good luck with your CJ. By the way, just a question, did I send you a PM regarding my Downtown or did the 'Send' button decide to not send?

Welcome to the Valley, Archean. It's good to hear you like my choice of towers, I hadn't exactly plopped a downtown before this!

Bienvenidos a Valle de Loretto, GreekMan! Glad you like Harahan, and who said the Mayor wanted a football franchise....?

Hi, selles. Glad you like the Downtown and stay tunes for future updates!

Welcome to Loretto Valley, jacqulina. Glad you like Harahan and my pics, be sure to stop by soon!

Hey, Petrovar Ambassador. I think you have a good sense of smell! 9.gif It's always nice to see you stopping by, come back soon!

Any replies that I missed while I was posting this will be accounted for next update.

Wow! Fifteen replies, I think that has tied the record for most replies in any CJ by me. Thanks to everyone for your support, and lurkers, feel free to post and questions, comments, or suggestions!

Anyways, I am sorry but there is no update today. I fell asleep this afternoon, so therefore tonight I have to busy myself with polynomial equations and page-long problems. However, I can tell you guys just what will be going on in the near future without wasting too much time.

Brought over from Skagit County, weekend drives will be back! The first one will probably be in a rural area, from either a small incorporated town Silvana or the hamlet Denby down to my quaint village Bleier Point.

I won't have one this week, but next Wednesday or Thursday will feature a Midweek Chronicle short story.  The first story will likely bring us to the ghetto of Harahan.

And, sandwiched in there occasionally will be updates. I might make the Midweek Chronicles once every two weeks to fit in time for an update. This cycle starts on Saturday.

Next: Old Downtown, Midtown, and maybe more

I didn't even know Loretto Valley had started. Skagit County was good, but I think this CJ is a vast improvement. I think you need more custom houses though; those 5 or 10 Maxis houses get very repetitive quickly.

Nice work on those towns. Looks like that apple farm is larger than the rest of the town near it!
