Hands down, the worst pats team since 2000. Its amazing to think that we are still winning the division at 7-5. Tom Brady has about 12 picks this year, they can't play defense, they can't win in the fourth quarter, they can't protect leads, they can't win on the road, in the division, or against good teams.

Sam Aiken dropped two deep passes that would have sealed the game, although one was a dive so i'll give him a pass. Brady threw a pick on the last play offensively that was so bad i nearly threw up.

Safe to say, this Patriots team will either miss the playoffs, or be out after one round.

So far for me I'm 7-347.gif depending on the outcome of the Saints/Skins game in OT tied at 30-30...

What happened to Pittsburgh42.gif

What happened to New England42.gif42.gif

EDIT:

Make that 8-3 so far this week.  Saints won in OT 33-30 to go to 12-019.gif and keep pace with Indy...

Coincidentally, SimShady, who started the week with a 117-59 record, 1 game ahead of me [116-60] has gone 6-5 so far and has now fallen from his perch on top of the heap to land a game behind me29.gif.  To top things off, his picks mirror mine, so no matter what happens the rest of this week, I will remain on top where I belong3.gif...at least for this week18.gif

Both Pittsburg and New England are in rebuilding phases right now, but obviously a rebuilding year for the patriots/steelers looks a bit different than one for say..jacksonville. Also the NFL is going to be a mess next year with no salary cap, no shared revenue..it might not even be fun to watch....

Actually Blade, Shady is 6-3. He didn't make a pick on the pats dolphins game [smart man lol] and the only other games he got wrong were Houston, Tampa Bay, and Pittsburg.

I am 7-4 so far. I somehow did not pick the Mia-NE game, but I meant to pick the Patriots, so either way count that as a miss. However, later in the week I went back and changed my Ten-Ind pick after researching it a bit and watching Vince Young's game winning drive, which was over-rated and had several poor plays that he lucked out on involved. That is probably why Blade2k5 had my stats for the week slightly off.

Cowboys are not going to win if NY keeps playing with the intensity that it is....Romo has been excellent at least.

I just went and checked and see you edited about 20 minutes after I'd written your pics down, not to mention the fact you didn't mention49.gif in your edit that you had changed your pic20.gif  So you are 8-619.gif instead of 7-7 so far today.  I had you down for NE anyways...coulda swore I saw it highlighted when I wrote it down...46.gif  That would make you and I both 125-66 for the season, depending on what happens tonight and tomorrow.  Told ya I'd re-claim my place on top, albeit tied with you, but #1 is #1 no matter which you look at it3.gif18.gif

The only theory I can come up with to explain how I don't have the New England Miami game picked is that when I went back and changed the Indiana game somehow I accidentally undid the Patriots game...I mean I swear I picked the game too lol.

May the best, luckiest man win this season...which will be me 3.gif ...I hope 3.gif

10-4 so far for me. Could go 12-4

Had the NO Kicker in my fantasy leauge to day and no anoucements  Carney wasnt going to play today. 4 FGs and 3 X points lost.  26.gif

Mabey  Carney Would like to be a Cowboy, Folk seems to have an issue with 35-45 yarders.

Cowboys could just not run the ball today, and let a couple big plays decide the game.

Pitss burg is just not the same with out Polamalu there. But Oakland? rolling 300 passing yards on them?  Insane.

At one point i was in first place by a few games...o how the mighty have fallen...my seasons spiraling out of control with the patriots season haha!

In fact, all three of us are having seasons analogous to our teams. I started out fast and looked really good the first 5-6 weeks but have been falling apart slowly since, Blade and Shady hid in the bushes for a bit and has really come on strong the last few weeks just like the Packers and Cowboys 3.gif

GB will win tonight.  Baltimore can't stop the deep pass and GB has the numero uno defense in the NFL...so I'd say their chances of whoopin' the Ravens like unruly children are better than great29.gif

Gaaah...I hate the NFL right now..between the patriots and the colts and the rest of the league...my picking has hit rock bottom this week haha.

And so far i've lost 10 dollars cause the titans couldn't cover the spread thanks to three scoreless red zone trips and the vikings laying over and getting stomped on last night.

But if Green Bay wins by more than a field goal, I can break even for the weekend and all will be better. Even though i read the Baltimore pass defense has gotten much better [plus the presence of ed reed] it really comes down to Ryan Grant+Donald Driver+Rodgers versus Mason, Flacco, and Rice for the Ravens, I prefer the Packers right there.

Green Bay has two defensive starters out for the season. Also GB with that number one defense has only beaten one plus.500 team all year.  Its nice when teams can pad stats by playing the Bears, Browns lions...the list goes on. The NFC North is the worst division in football.

    Ravens will crush GB tonight.

    ^ -5 Credibility.

The NFC north is home to three playoff contenders, including the second best team in the NFC and the third best team in the league, the vikings, as well as a all but garunteed playoff team in the packers, who would be leading the NFC east, west, and AFC east if they played there. Overall, the NFC north has more combined wins than all but 2 or 3 divisions, and keep in mind that includes the lowly lions. So that statement is incredibly false. And I'd say a win over the cowboys is definetely a credible win over a big time.

Believe me, the amateurish comment about the Ravens crushing the Packers and the failed attempt at diminishing the Packers was quite humorus and I got a good belly-laugh out of it.  I didn't take it as seriously as you did though18.gif  I let the Packers do the backing up last night and they came through like I knew they would.

It was an ugly game though, an awful lot of penalties and Baltimore looked flat and tired last night.  The Packers gave them 175 penalty yards and all they could muster was 14 points in at least 4 trips to the red zone.  The packers on the other hand on the defensive side played hard all night and only gave up 175 yards of offense.  That is a defensive statement and in my mind, says why the Pack defense is numero uno.  The season has definitely gotten inetersting the past few weeks, there's been a lot of out of left feild upsets this year, two teams at 12-0...a record setting year perhaps.

Cowboys realy realy need to beat the Chargers, 11-5 could win the division if we win out after NO thumps us and would have swept  Philly. mabey philly does us a faver and beats the giants sunday as well.

That sums it up perfectly. The only givens in this season are the Colts and Saints winning, the Bucs and Lions losing...the rest of the league is such a mixed bag that you can't really get a read on any of the teams. I guess the cowboys being tough to read is a given too, they are like that every year, but the pats, the titans, dolphins, steelers, bengals, jaguars...the list of teams playing completely different than you would have expected is stunning. Broncos, falcons..it goes on and on...

No kidding we HAVE to beat the Chargers if we are to make the playoffs. Going 1-3 in the final stretch is unacceptable, 2-2 is the only assurance of the playoffs.

And if they don't beat the Chargers, and I'm one to think, at this moment, that Dallas will not beat SD this week, they'll be in a world of trouble come playoff time.  It's not looking very good for the Cowboys right now.20.gif

Anyways, I've been torturing myself46.gif over this PIT @ CLE game Thursday night...can I trust Pit not to lose their 5th straight...42.gif or will Cleveland pull a rabbit out of the hat and pull off a miracle win...42.gif

Pittsburgh? Where have they gone!? I better get my head out of the toilet because SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS have lost 4 in a row.

Two weeks ago, the head coach of the Steelers said the team would unleash H-E-double hockey sticks on the NFL. Then they lost to the OAKLAND RAIDERS!!! How's that for un;leashing h-e-double hockey sticks(I'm refraining from saying words I shouldn't be saying.)
