I pretty much had written Carolina off after week 3 they were playing so badly and still do not see them making the playoffs20.gif, but stranger things have happened.

Anyways, the outlook for the Pats is pretty good. The game against the Jets has all the ingredients to be an absolute danglefest [thats a hockey term?]. Angry Pats team coming off a rough loss in a big game, looking to take it out on their ancient rivals and the team that embarassed them earlier in the year...

final score should be of 2007-proportions.

Yea, I would say their chances are now almost gone totally.

If PIT and CIN hadn't coughed, choked and sputtered today, I could've been 13-1 at the moment instead of 11-326.gif...but at least I gained another game on Shady3.gif  That lead isn't so large now is it28.gif  That's what you get for picking SF over GB...really now46.gif

Good job everyone, we all had an above .500 week no matter what happens tonight or tomorrow...44.gif

Nah I think the real killer was going for Tampa over New Orleans...lol

Idk why I picked SF over GB though. I am pretty sure that is the first pick ive missed all season on the team that played the Cowboys the week before. I can get a good sense of a teams effort level and over all talent when they face the Cowboys, and thus the odds that they will pull out a win the next week.

Speaking of Green Bay, that sure is a hit they took today on the injury front. Aaron Kampman and Al Harris are two cogs to that team and the defense, and losing them both to season potentially ending injuries hurts in the worst way. Do they have viable replacements for them? Young promising guys waiting in the wings, or are they going to be signing scrubs off the street to fill their spots? Either way, I can't look at the packers and say I am comfortable about their chances of making the playoffs now.

The browns and detroit score 70? 900 yards of offence?

Lol seriously I did not see that coming out of a Detroit Browns game. I watched the Lions game last week, and seeing Stafford operate on offense impressed the heck out of me, which led me to pick them for this week, but I wasn't expecting a 5 td game out of him. Obviously, throwing the winning touchdown with time expired and a dislocated shoulder stands to be much more than just memorable, shame it happened in a game with such little implications. This guy is the real deal, unlike "Sanchise" who is starting to hear calls to be benched after being doused in anointing oil in the early stages of the season.

For eat a turkey day I will go with the Cowboys over Oakland (Suprise!)

and the Packers over the Lions. The Packers-Lions game is a tough one because both teams have been playing well of late, but it is very likely the teams that play on Thursday will only slightly resemble last Sunday's teams after both suffered significant injuries. Is Stafford going to play? Doubtful. Al Harris and Aaron Kampman? finished. That being said, I will take the more talented, accomplished team, Green Bay.

Thats actually suprising usually when bad teams face its a low scoring game [easier to play mediocre defense than mediocre offense].

How much longer do you think Texans kicker Kris Brown is going to keep his job? That is consecutive games now that he has missed managable field goals that would have sent the game into overtime. I am sure he will be feeling the love in the locker room.

I am 2-8 on the year for Houston...

The Pats-Saints game should be good, but not as good as the Pats-Colts game. I think the Saints have had an easier schedule than some teams, and I think New England is going win in a shoot-out of a game. Pats 31-Saints 27 is my guess. 3.gif
