I would love to know what store the is with the yellow , or is that orange?? I think its a Home Depot!! It looks beautiful! Does that parking lot come with it or did you custom a lot to have the grocery cart bays in there??

Can't wait to see some more!!!

Wow...all that grey and monotony looks kind of eerie...it's very haunting.

In other words great job creating a freakishly repetitive suburb!

GMT  -  Yep, long time but it's very funny to keep the control of the aspect of your city! Thanks!

    suplado!  -  Thanks!!!

dfnva  -  Thanks! It's only the eastern part of the metropolitan area. The western part would be bigger! 5.gif

N106  -  Yep, Downtown East Dubuque isn't ready yet. I've planned to tell a story for each part of the city. I've the habit to build the CBD at the end... thanks for your comment and I'm sure you'll be patient 1.gif

    Thanks again!

Raysfan16  -  I've planed to build a small CBD mixed with industries, but yet, I'm working on the airport and the southern suburbs.

Thanks, my computer is OK now, pffuuuuhhh! Very helpful to have an external disk for backups!!! 1.gif

    selles  -  Thanks!

    ComputerGuy890100  -  Thanks!

PhilsCafe  -  Okay. It's a good idea too to make a "break" between it. You can see if you want to continue or if you prefer to work with a Bachelor. I think you can make a Master instead you're working?

Thanks a lot Phil and good luck for your last semester!

    art128  -  Thanks!!! It's not the part I've worked the most... 9.gif

Hawkeye9  -  Thanks a lot! Congrats to the textures moders too!

bob3987  -  Thanks. It's not a recreation of Dubuque, also the 99% of my city is imaginary. You can see a map of what I'm planning to build on page 1 1.gif

fabsies55  -  Thanks! It's very gridy why the city is in the Midwest.

penguin007  -  Hey! Thanks Will. A great discovery these bushes. They give a nice touch.

tahill79  -  You're welcome! Hope to see yours soon!

    Mayorm  -  Thanks!

NMUSidey  -  Thanks! I know. My last CJ took place in Nebraska. It was very funny for me to play and I think Midwest fits really well with SC4.

    LEO  -  Thanks 2.gif

sammerhammer747  -  Yes, it is. This BAT has a parking lot but I changed the texture for a better look. This BAT was made by Bobbo62 or Bobbo26... You'll thind it on the STEX.

Petrovar Ambassador  -  Thanks a lot! Where do you come from?

    bakercity  -  A million thanks JKB!!! 4.gif

    ComputerGuy890100  -  Thanks!

edmonton_stinks  -  Hum, it's called suburban sprawl... large part of North American cities are build so. 2.gif

    ironicepitome  -  You're right!

GMT  -  Thanks GMT!!! Oh yes, and this is just the less develloped part of Dubuque's metroplitan area!

Hum, sorry, but I won't make any update this uncoming weekend because I'm going to move into a new flat with my girlfriend, my computer, my pillows and a lot of furnitures... Hope you'll understand!!!

I'm not a big fan of American styled CJs but you have done an excellent job here. Very realistic.

    Viles  -  Thanks!!!

Now I'm very well installed in my new flat in downtown Lausanne, close from shops, pubs and all other commercial hubs! 2.gif

Here is some pictures of the Southeast neighborhood of Dubuque with scattered farms and residential communities. Since the foundation of Dubuque, this part of the city were preservated from land spectulator due to the risk of flooding, until yet, altrough the Missimee River was regulated. Enjoy!!!

More great stuff, the farms and rural-style industry look great. Particularily appealing are the smaller telephone poles which are ubiquitous in real life. Are they functional or just added to lots you've made?

    art128  -  Thanks Arthur!

    jacqulina  -  Thanks!!! 2.gif

    un1  -  Thanks a lot!

Raysfan16  -  Ah, you just have to be patient! Thanks for your post, I'm very glad!

saathoff37  -  Thanks a lot! You are from which city in Iowa?

    ComputerGuy890100  -  Thanks 1.gif

edmonton_stinks  -  Yes, but not all (sports fields, ponds, etc...) I often don't need to relook a downloaded one (grass and parking texture are the stuffs I modify the most). Otherwise I build a hundred of custom lots, working as Landmark (with C$$ or R$$ characteristics) or Parks. Thanks for your comment!!!

    Ntq$310  -  Thanks!!!

dfnva  -  Hi Dan! No, they are just for realism and eye-candy. They don't have jobs or any particular functions. Thanks for posting!

    Hawkeye9  -  Thanks my friend!!!

    See ya all!!!

I love the detail you give to all the farm yards. I assume all those silos, storage tanks, etc, are your own custom edited lots? Great work!

Hello my friend! Haven't been around here for quite some time, hope you didn't forget me ... But from what I saw on the four pages of this CJ you are still the same crazy space-wasting builder as alwas. Good to see that some great things seem not to change! Take care my friend Bernhard (PS: No Smilies - ST doesn't like my Opera it seems .... )

You must have talent for using the lot editor do you? And why only ploppables? I mean if its to obtain a awe-inspiring look, then its fine with me. Anyways, most detail city I ever seen in Simcity4!
