I have made a decision for this CJ. Since I see that it is slowly dying and less and less comments are added after every update and also that I consider that the many hours I spent to create the pics and write the story are not that much worth anymore and I am starting to lack ideas....lol, (which btw was evident that it was gonna happen one day), I will leave this CJ dead for a period of a month or so and maybe see what is happening with it. I then will make only two or three last very big updates to conclude the story once and for all and make an official ending to it.

After I will start Lavender (November 2005), which many of you have already seen and followed the * Making of*. That will be a new type of *Nexis CJ*, and that will also take a lot of my energy.

 

Real life is so timetaking since a few months for me that I even cancelled my yearly trip to NZ after Xmas. I have never seen so many contracts in a pile in my thirty years of being in that business. I suppose loghomes are hot as bagels these days. I had to hire two more student architects earlier this year, only to obtain some free time to go the restaurant with my wife Friday nights and have a weekend off from two.(and I was gonna take a partial retirement....lol) Imagine....

Therefor Genesis of Nexis' final episode will only be a relief for me and I hope you all understand. It has made its way through the years and this forum.
Of course the final will be very interesting and also very detailed, and don't worry, everyone will have his/her story ended with charm. Many secrets will be reveiled like the murders of these scientists many years ago, Opall, the probes, the LBST, Verto's crashed spaceship etc, only to mention a few.

Until then, I will take a break now.

Thanks, I'm glad that at least a few still have interest in Genesis of Nexis. I will mention Kevin Slayer's son in the last updates. I will mention all the people that were mentioned before and also their sons and daughters. It will be a complete ending.

I think I will have to do this in four parts instead of two........ there's just too much to tell.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't kill it let it go till about may or july, so that the second generation has the same amount of time as the first, if you do this you might skip forward 5 years a few times to end the cj by may or july, JUST PLEASE LET MY CHARACHTER FULLFILL HIS GOALS AND LIVE A FULL LIFE.

One must understand, everything that mankind knows (exept the universe probably) has a beginning and an end and just like SCR (sculpting Columbia River) this will be ended soon.

Don't worry of missing it, since many more other Cj's are on their way to celebrity and I am sure many more great ones will be born soon also. Go and support them.

 

I actually have no other choice than to end Genesis of Nexis, for many reasons like : lack of time ,running out of ideas and another CJ (Lavender) coming up and as Alkaola said, I will also be part in a great team that will soon start their CJ, named Istrinia.

So , you better look out for these and one will get over the ending of Genesis. It was like many things, great while it lasted. Thanks.

Even though i don't post comments often about this CJ, this one is on my favorites, since i really like it. You've made a great journal so far Mr Bison. It's clear that the end of this CJ is forthcoming, but i will for sure remember it anyway, since it's a well made one, with a great storyline.

It's sad to see this CJ die, I don't and never wanted it to go away. This is the greatest CJ I have ever seen. Good work, I look forward to the ending, even though I don't want the end to come...ever.

The ending will be a bit longer than I thought. I started writing it, but there is still so much to say about Genesis, Uru, the discoveries in the last 50 years, plus all the celebrities and their lifes etc.....that it will take more than just two posts to end, since I don't just want to abandon it either, which is not my type to do so.

There will be an update in November, maybe a page long......lol

Please Don't end soon, maybe come up with more ideas by looking at other city journals, maybe ask people about some ideas, and at least go untill the second generation is all dead, that way our charachters reached there goals, and why try my city journal updating idea, make an update with word, or some other word proccessor porgram, and save it, you can do multiple updates like this, and when they are ready, just upload the pictures, and text, which means you can work on updates on your free time, and work on them a little bit at a time untill they are ready, at least run the CJ untill july or agust 2006, this is my favorite City Journal EVER!!, and i would miss it if it ends soon, and be wondering, What Would Happen Next??

Sorry folks but there will definitivly be an end to this CJ. I am still working on the first of the last giant updates, because I would like Lavender to start before Christmas.

I don't have a greymap of the Genesis region and it is way too big to upload file by file, unless there's another way that I don't know of.

 

superchad, Yes the whole Next generation will have a detailed end, although it will be a lot faster than the first.

 

Don't worry screamomatic, I will finish this CJ with class, promissed.

why don't you start lavender in mid-to late november, and throught in nexis updates every month, or other month, to make this CJ finish the second generatio with the life and length of the first, try making the whole updates on your computer, then post when they are ready.

I don't want to have 3 CJK's running with the little time that I have, therefore I will end more or less Nexis of Genesis before I start Lavender.

Lavender will be different and too much to handle if I have three CJ's going. Don't forget that I will be part of the Istrinia Internations starting November 15th and presenting you the Norland Region together with 10 other very interesting regions.

Now, it could be.....only could be......that sometime I will continue somehow Nexis of Genesis, all depending on how things in the future and in real life will be working out. So, I will leave definitivly a door open for it. If the demand will be, the story might continue, but in much slower paces.

Meanwhile let me continue to make the last updates . The first one we will travel 20 years into the futur and tell you what happened in these years (that will take two updates for sure) , then we jump another 20 years before we get to the final ending for this Era.
