I have been gone for awhile on a buissness trip far away and just came back last night. Thanks for the comments.They are always appreciated. I am glad you like the Journal, some nice and awful moments are coming up soon.Examples: Someone will win the biggest amount yet in the Genesis-Lotto game,a terrible forestfire will attack a town, horrible innondation that will be remembered for centuries, two of our personalities will found a Corporation and many more surprizes.

The Evil Octopus Man, I won't tell yet , how rich everyone is, because I have to do some calculations first, and there was a light error also, Alex is on 7th place. I forgot the owner of the Razor Blade Logging Industries Mr Huber Sims and his sons, plus the owner of the railroads, Mr Manty Phoex, which we haven't talked much about yet, since he comes from the Northern Region and at last the Gaburan Ambassador Ciroyon, who practically owns Axis City, West Axis and Axis Harbour.But Alex Macvicar is getting richer every day with his mines and also Smurfer and Slayer are following closely, depending on these mines.We will have a closer look at these three in the next update, later this week.

 

Anyways, here is another update with 11 pics and some news from the four corners of Genesis.

 

First of all, the *Black Eye* Telescope of the Space Station Nexis 1 has made a discovery, which was last week all over the news and still is in the topnews today. The Astronomer, who is responsable for the Telescope, but also personally very interested in Verto, the green planet, took the telescope for a look at this almost forgotten planet. With surprise , he discovered a shipwreck on this green Giant Ball. --- Hey, is this  our long lost Spaceship, that we thought gone forever, many years ago? Or is it the other armed Spaceship that we sent to find the first lost one? When the Space Society heard about this and saw the pictures, that we are not allowed to have a look at yet (sorry classified),they contacted Vallen Nexis and he decided to launch a Vessel with some scientists and Researchers, including some Specialist in the Army, towards Verto right away. Preparations are being made and even our scientist and Chemist Vatt was invited to join the team. This is Vatt's first adventure outside Genesis.
Ok, we will hear more about this later for sure. Soon we will also know what happened to these Vessels.--  Also Mr Nexis sees an opportunity here to finally take a closer look at Verto and bring some of these green algae type plants back.

 

A little about Verto: A smaller planet, about 40 % the size of Uru, mostly hidden from Uru by the Water planet Corus, but always be seen from Genesis. It is a traveling planet that travels the farthest outside of our solar system and comes back as quickly as it leeaves, twice in a Genesis year. No life, except for a greenish algae that seems to grow everywhere, that's why the colour green of the planet.No life possible as we know it, since the oxygen level is so high that it is poisonous to other lifeforms. A day lasts only 2.6 hrs (very fast rotation) and a year lasts more than 1600 days. Temperatures are in the 40's Celsius in the summer and  near -80 C in the winter. That is one thing that has puzzled scientists, since the algaes stays alive at this low temperature during more than 100 Genesis days.

 

Back to Genesis and have a look at Gloryville, our Capitol.This is just to show you a small part of Gloryville, where all the Rulers and VIP's live. It is close to Downtown and the small round lake. One of the best and secure places to live in Gloyville. In the upper right corner we have a glimpse of the luxurious Lake Hotel.

Remember Wren Trey? He was the best man at the wedding of Noyita and Troy Nexis and also opened a small Electronics store in Axis City long time ago, then he moved to Nexis City and built himself a home and opened another store there. Well, he built another store in the Capitol City and made this one his Main Office, a sort of HQ (headquarters). It is just on the other block beside where DrEvel will build his HQ of Starbucks.- Wren Trey's Electronic Stores are doing well, of course still selling Nexis stuff. With three operational stores in three different Cities, Wren has now more than 30 people working for himself.He is seriously doing competition for Henry Zeddicton, our Computer Salesman in Axis City.

In our favourite little village of Round Lake Junction, things are picking up slowly also. Jim was supposed to build a residential area behind the church , but because he is too darn busy with so many other projects, that the job went to Ninten, who was lately chosen as a member in the Gloryville Counsel. Ninten is also working on Smurfmind's developpment at the moment. Being much smaller than Jim's construction Company, Ninten has lost a few jobs to him, such as the Smurfer Mansion in Smurfmind and some others. But he has some cards up his sleeves and is about to play them right.- He made an offer, that even Jim couldn't meet, for the Round Lake developpment and was chosen for the job. Hiring  about a dozen of construction workers, Ninten will start on this project in the next month.

Round Lake Junction is somewhat of a bassin of the Tenzel River Systems, where three rivers meet, as we have seen earlier in this CJ (search for pictures on earlier pages.). Now this roundish lake is becoming frightening to the folks down at Tenzel Outlet and Axis South. The water level has dropped to a point where ships cannot move easily up the river.At this point, ships cannot already enter the Round lake at all. The reason is an absens of massive rains in the mountains ,which usually occur at this time of season. Scientists are looking into this matter.Even the snow melt has slowed a bit and the Dam in Grand Dam is 10% lower than usual, but no worries there yet, since the quantity is still more than 300% than needed.

In Black Lake, Tim Chula, the man that worked as the foreman for the Razor Blade Company and who started his own logging Company, has now his own sawmill,on the same road as his home (on his own land).- Funny, as soon as it was built, Kay and Billy Sims ( the sons of Huber Sims,owner of Razor Blade) came to see Tim Chula and to offer him a great deal for his newly founded Company. An amount that Chula had to think about seriously, before he refused.( I wonder how much?) I guess Razor Blade Logging Industries don't like competitions. Tim wants to try his luck with his Company and sees no reason, why it shouldn't work out for him too.*He is either confident in his futur or just plein stupid to refuse an offer as such* one of his close friends told the press.

Great Update! I was wondering though, did my little legal offer with Smurfer Steel go through??? Its been bugging me for awhile. O! I almost forgot! My designers have been working for a bit now and we have the mainframe of the superstructure for the shuttle finished! now the laborious wiring begins.... All we need now is the outer layering skinn of the shuttle to be produced, along with the emergency hatches.

It is recommended to read most of the journal if one wants to understand the whole thing in every detail, because soon we will go back in time and bring up some older news to use them in the futur.

 

Ok, here we continue what I didn't have time to finish uploading this morning.

 

On halfway towards the Evermind Mountain in the Smurfmind township,Ninten has built a warehouse to hold all the tools needed for the big project of the Tourist Station to be constructed before winter arrives.It was built almost into the mountain wall.Now, all he is waiting for is the green light from the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville.

 

A small look at the village of Smurfmind ,to get to know it a bit better. Nothing much here yet, really quiet country living. Smurfmind is quite far from the rest of the civilization ,and the Mayor is bidding much on Ninten and the Nexis family to make this township more interesting for the tourists. This picture was taken on the busiest day at the busiest hour and 4 cars were seen at the same time on Mainstreet and three persons. This is what the Mayor calls busy. Smurfmind is a beautiful area, in the middle of some foothills and backed by the West-side of the Giant Evermind Mountain.This mountain can be seen from every other township in the Genesis region, even from Tim Chula's home, on the other end of Black Lake. In the early years , it was conquered by Evermind and Smurfer,when they were young and today bears their names.

On this Sattelite view , we can easily see where exactly Smurfmind is situated compared to the other townships. The Rulers , together with Troy Nexis's daughter, Lyll Nexis and the Transport Commission of Genesis, have planned an expansion of the railway system next year. Meaning that the rails will start in Gloryville in the east and then go through Skinner, Smurfmind, Round Lake Junction and Grand Dam, but also connect to the existing rails in West Axis, near the Hawklyn Valley Farms. Many think that this will help several municipalities to grow and offer better lifes with better transportations. The dotted line shows the exact trail that the new rails will follow.
Lyll Nexis , to mention here, started a Company with GrandPa Vallen's help. The NRS ( Nexis Railway System) was founded by Troy's daughter earlier this year and will be responsable for this part of the construction and maintainance of these rails.

A full view of the little village can be seen here at the bottom right of this picture.The Mountain is on the left and on the bottom of this Giant, Smurfer has built his Mansion, the first one to settle down for a year 'round stay. Maybe this will encourage others to come and stay.It was Ninten's job first to build the Grand Mansion, but somehow it got into the hands of Jim, probably because Jim is better known at the moment.

In West Axis, some things have changed with Adley Hawklyn from the Hawklyn Valley Farms. After having bought the expensive farmland from the old Lady in Axis South, Adley had some financial problems, but with the demand for Farmproducts on the rise, the Hawklyn Valley Farms are back in buissness and more than ever before.

New fields have been cultivated and more houses were built to supply the living spaces for the Farmworkers. Also a Warehouse, a Canning facility and also an oultet store are on the Main road between Axis City and Grand Dam. It looks almost as if a small village is being born in West Axis, but on private land.
Adley has big plans for the futur. He is primarily interested in Dr Evel's Llama farm in Treeland, also some land overthere in the same township, plus he is thinking of maybe buying the Shopping Mall in Axis Center from Sven. Hm......Ain't he a little too spontanious to buy all this at once, maybe he will be back to the bottom as before and have a year or two of financial misery again?
Well, that's up to him.

Again, this will be an important update, which also will be delivered to you in two parts. One tonight and the other one tomorrow night. I spent almost 4 hours in preparing this two-part update.

 

Let's begin with some simple headnews that were lately announced either on TV or the Daily Newspaper:

 

1. *Important contract signed between Slayer Inc and the Nexis Corporation.* ( A contract between Slayer Inc and Nexis Corporation for the construction of a special Spaceship was signed yesterday morning, Vallen Nexis announced on his weekly meeting with the press. This Vessel will have special features, which will help the researchers on their trip to Verto, the green planet. Construction will start next week already. Kevin Slayer of Slayer's Inc promissed the delivery within 8 months, something no one else could offer that quickly. Also Mr Slayer signed the deal with Smurfer Steel, who will now be the only Steel manufacturer on Genesis. Mr Smurfer was promissed by Alexander MacVicar from MacVicar Mines, to never be short of iron ore and other crude metals.- Between these three MEGA-Companies, no one can offer a decent competition now.)
2. *A unbelievable fall of 220 feet and he walks away with a broken finger* (Early last week,Owen Sheppard from Grand Dam, was working on the upper pipes on the Dam for maintaining the drinking water pipeline, when his foot slipped on the wet pipes, and he fell down the dam from a 223 feet height, right onto the lawn beside the Office of the Electricity Company on the bottom of the dam. After a little moan , he stood up and walked away towards the office to call his collegues on top of the dam to send him a car to come and pick him up. The secretary who saw everything outside through her officewindow was shocked and stunned.......He was sent to the Axis Hospital for a general check-up (so was the secretary in shock), only to be released a couple of hours after with a broken index finger. The Grand Ruler himself had to meet this fellow, only to shake his hand, that is how amazed he was. An Tv interview with this miracle survivor will be held this weekend. Owen didn't say much about his *flying adventure*, but mentioned, that he doesn't recommend to try this at home.)
3. *Can Uru's Solar System be saved?*  ( Joao Otavio, who is on Uru right now, studying the possibilities to safe the Solar system , has discovered somthing on the Opall Meteor, that might be very useful for his futur plans to direct Opall's path. More of this news will be released later this month. Mr Otavio has to make more studies of this possibility to be able to lessen the damage to our solar system.)
4. *Ciroyon thinking about an airport in Axis City* ( Ciroyon and his fellow Citycouncel members were thinking about erecting an airport in Axis City, near the West Axis border. Vallen Nexis, who clearly doesn't like Ciroyon's extravagant character, told the press, that this is just another thing just to give competition to the Capitol, and spending unusefully the citizen's taxes.)
5. *Capitol's first Hi-riser will be late* (Brett who has never designed a Skyscarper before and was given the job to build the highest building in Gloryville for the first National Commerce Bank, announced today that the project will be a little late, since some of the foundation designs would never hold all the weight of this Giant, he found out. Brett, working with his team of 6 Professional Designers and Architects, will triple check everything, before the construction will start late this year.)
6.* 6400 New Immigrants awaited this month through the LBST*
More than 6000 newcomers from Uru will arrive in the next 30 days with the Lazor Beam Space Traveler (LBST) that Joao Otavio has fixed last month. Now completely re-ajusted, it is back to normal function. With less than a Century for Opall to hit Uru, the immigration will pick up the time that it has lost. An average of 5000 new arrivals every month are planned.This means  that construction will be on the rise,and this in its turn means, that economy will be on the rise also. Jim is already panicing and Ninten ain't sure that he can handle all this neither)

 

Now, let's have a look at some other news on Genesis.Alexander MacVicar, the owner and CEO of the Gloryville Standard Mining Industries, also known as the MacVicar Mines, is glad now to have found a place to get of his mining residues. The dust and sand residues will be send by train and by truck to the southern neighbor of Stone-Valley. Of course a fee will be imposed to the Mining Company. Coarseville's Mayor also is happy to get rid of all the dust, that made the mountain into a dustcloud, whenever it was very windy. Coarseville did not grow, mainly because of this dusty environment, that kept away most of the population. Even Mr Sven, who has bought a lot of terrain started to wonder, if his investment was going to be useful or not.
Starting from the MacVicar Mines, the railroad is owned by Troy Nexis' daughter, Miss Lyll Nexis, who founded the NRS (Nexis Railway System) lately. These tracks will end in Stone-Valley. Another fee for transport and shipping of the goods will be imposed to the Townships and MacVicar.

 

In stone-Valley, things have advanced a lot. No wonder, since this whole facility is governed by the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville. The NRS has arrived and shipping of garbage and Mine-residue by train is now a possibility. This will be the Center of Garbage disposal and Recycling of the whole Genesis Region. The facility is controlled by one Department of the Administration Office and every entry and exit is registered at the entry gate. The area will be regularly controlled by the Minister of Environmment and also by the Health Department. The facilty includes a Recuperation Center for the recycling of different materials, the burning of the garbage,disposals of poisonous and other dangerous materials,used tires and liquids.
Tiel Oil Co, found some minor subterrain oil deposits here and had a field oilpump installed.

Here is a closer look at the entrance and offices of this Giant Public enterprise. Every township in the Genesis region will be obliged in the near futur to dispose of their garbage here in Stone-valley. A new law is in the development with the Stormy Night Law Offices already, which Mr Night himself is working on. The law will help to keep the environment on Genesis at its cleanest, so it won't deteriorate as it did on Uru. Mr Night was told by the Rulers to make the law as severe as possible. This law will concern 213 chapters under the environment act and it will take Mr Night and his Associates almost 2 years to complete, when it will take effect then.

Let's have a closer look at Skinner, a township founded quite awhile ago, but never really opened to the public. Except for the Highway 1 that runs through it, coming from the Northern Region, going through Axis City ,Axis South and Bolton, and continuing through Skinner, Red Poll and Ivory Hills to vanish into the Southern Region, nothing was here up to this point, where the Regional Administration Office decided to open the township for the public. This municipality, under the governing of Atlas, is far away from everything in every direction. * In the Middle of Nowhere* as some may call it, it will be very difficult to be settled. This area is situated in the foothills of the Evermind Mountain , casting a giant shadow on the area after 5pm.
Something strange to this township is that the population is 1, although no one is officially registered for this township and no one seems to know who and where this *1* is.-Also, on top of the hill is one of the most mysterious lakes on Genesis,the Skinner Lake..... hot springs?

This lake was not discovered until lately, when a surveyor was hired by the Regional Administration Office for the planning of the new road system.
Here Kevin Slayer, somewhat tired of his mansion in Bolton, was the first to buy some 30 acres (approx 15 ha). His choice was near the only pond available. Here Kevin will build his new home, and hey wait.....this will be *quite a Mansion*, he says. He was looking for a quiet spot, far from civilization's noise. His mansion in Bolton has become too noisy for him, he told his friends, and it is up for sale now.
With Slayer Inc now on the toplist of the Biggest Manufacturers of Genesis, Kevin can afford the Best of the Best in every aspect, and that's exactly that what he is planning for his home. The contract was given to Jim's Construction, who already has the best experience for luxurious mansions. Being extremely busy, but always open to a good deal, Jim will start the construction only in two months, which will give Slayer the time to sell his house in Bolton, the former Dice's Mansion.

Here is a closer look at this mysterious Skinner lake, what actually is only a little pond. It produces warm water, something as a hot spring, but has a special mineral in it, that allows a specific growing of Genesian Palmtrees, and they grow only immersed in water. This is another thing that scientists will have a closer look at.
Some say that the Evermind Mountain is a sleeping big Volcano and that this pond with the warm mineral water is just the proof of it.Hm...scary,if it's true....ain't it?

A closer look at the Slayer's futur home site. Jim has already cleared the land and ready now for the construction in two months. Kevin has carefully chosen his spot for the *Slayer Villa*, just beside a waterhole, some 40 feet (approx15m) deep. This Hole,so to speak, contains a water that is so pure that Kevin will connect his waterpump directly to it. When he first came here, he fell instantly in love with this Paradise. He saw a dozen of moose and deer within a few minutes nearby. The perfect site to live in peace with nature.

Hi again, had some time this morning to upload; this is the follow up from last night's 4 hrs of *work*, the second part of this big update, hope you got time to read this........

 

Yesterday we stopped with Skinner,
today let's go to Bolton, where Slayer sells his Mansion. Bolton is the most busiest town of all on Genesis. With the Highway going right through it, it has an enourmous traffic amount that some of the citizens complain about the noise. Ever since Bolton exists ( we can see this also on earlier pictures) traffic has been busy in this part of Genesis. Let's explain this : Axis South and Axis City are North of Bolton and workers in these Cities live in Gloryville, which is only a few miles east,and New Sholes and Coarseville not too far from here neither, and everyone meets here to take the Highway Junction. It takes more than 15 minutes to travel the Main Street at the rush hour of this small town of 5,000 Residents only. The Mayor is planning to build an access road to the Highway just outside of town in the futur, but Town finances aren't too high at the moment and the Regional Administration Office is not willing to help financially at this moment neither.

 

A picture during Rush Hour of the Mainstreet in Bolton's Downtown can easily be understood that the traffic problem is starting to get serious. But all this has a good side, for the commercial industry , this is heaven, if only the minicipality would allow more commercial zoning. Maybe the Mayor should give the Cityplans into the hands of Mr Vegetable's Office, which might have an idea of a different and better outlay of this town, and maybe Mr Vegetable has an idea where to get the financing for this project.

Growth is not a problem though in Bolton. Even without any new zones to build,the town is getting busier every year. This is something that Slayer also understand, and one of the reasons, why he is selling the former Dice's Mansion, once owned by one of the richest men on Genesis, Aurat Dice. He was the owner of Dice's Electronics (remember?) which after his death in the early years was given to his only child, his daughter Noyita, who later sold it to her husband Troy Nexis, and who made Nexis Electronics out of it.
This mansion is a piece of history, which Kevin Slayer obtained just a few weeks after his arrival on Genesis. But now it is too noisy for him,probably because he is getting older now and wants more peaceful moments.
This is a very beautiful mansion, that was also renovated lately. Interested in buying it? It comes with a solid price though.

Another look at the samll downtown of Bolton at busy hours.The great connection of the Highway. On the right is one of Slayer's smaller factories, a small part division of his Spaceship-engine factory in Gloryville. Bolton is also the where the Main Office of Holmes Security is, which , by the way, is doing just fine. Actually, this company is planning its expansion to three more townships in the hear futur, Nexis City, Red Poll and Three Towers, which badly need some security and law. Sherlock Holmes will take for these municipalities, now that he received the permission from the Regional Administration Office.

A new attraction came to Gloryville this last weekend. The opening of the first Flea-market, just on the other side of the street of the Asiana Park, near the Central Park in the Capitol City. This was decided by the City counsel lately. It is to open new doors to Gloryville's population and Visitors.
This Market will open its doors to everyone who reserves their places every Saturday Morning to Sunday night and it will become a simple cemented parking during the week. This is free of charge to anyone who wants to sell their goods, no taxes, no fees. It is offered by the Regional Tourist Commission , mostly to encourage tourists and neighboring residents to come regularly to the City.

Mr Vegetable and Associates City Planning Office have changed their HQ and are now in a new building near Central Park in Gloryville. They have rented the last four stories of this building, including both penthouses , which one of them was rented by MrVegetable himself as a private refuge for him. He has a beautiful view over Central Park and the Marina from here.- The other penthouse is for his Associates to serve as a refuge also. Mr Vegetable and Associates must make quite a little fortune to be able to pay for these Hi-class Offices.These don't come at a cheap price.

Also in Gloryville, on the seaside near the TV-Station and the Marina, Alexander MacVicar bought himself this luxurious house, the only residential houselot allowed by law in this area of Gloryville. I personally don't think that he bought it for the house, but more for the land, one of the most beautful lots of the City, just beside the entrance of the Gloryville Central Park Marina. Maybe Mr MacVicar is going to build his dream Mansion here,I think. He was mentioning to get away from Coarseville a bit,where is home is at the moment and also his Mine, that has given him this fortune to be one of the richest men on Genesis in a very short time.
Anyway, this lot is of a medium sized area, which has direct access to the sea and a spectacular view of the White Sands township with the Megantic Peak Mountain, at just a seagulls 10 minute flight over the sea, where the sun awakens every morning. Plus this spot is one of the safest area in the City. A Police car comes by every 15 minutes, since this street connects the two halves of the City, somewhat separated by the Marina and Central Park.
This must be one of the nicest Residential lots available in Gloryville, and Mr MacVicar must have paid a good  price to the former owner of this house. A question arrises though, if Alexander wants to build his dream mansion here. Will he be allowed to tear down this historical house, which was built by Dr Phlixmen, one of the first Arrivals on Genesis? Remember, she was the Microbiologist onboard of G-Spacer. Only the Administration Office will have the answer, or does MacVicar have it already?

Still in Gloryville, but this time more in the older downtown, close to the central lake, let's have a look at exactly where the first tent on Genesis was erected by the first Arrivals on the Planet: Col. Kronxc, Bimmel, Dr Tyronca, Capt.Furron, Mollock, Vallen, Dr Funa, Roy and Dr Phlixmen.
Things have changed, big offices stand on this historical ground now, just in front of the Daight Nexis' Statue. There is a small golden sunk in X with a date inscripted on the boardwalk where the first camp's Center used to be.(you can see the camp on the earlier pages of this journal somewhere).

A last look at Gloryville, and another touristic project planned by the Tourist Commission, here is the futur site of a big Entertainment Park, which is planned for the next year. The site will be lead by our Ms Elizabeth White, who created the Highway Park in Axis City and now has her own Tourist Attraction Park in Black Lake, the White's Galleon-Ship.
In the middle of this park , there is already a soccerfield, which might well be conserved or maybe overbuild, depending on Ms White's ideas. Only two blocks from the Central Park and four blocks from Downtown, this park will be a major attraction in the Capitol. Some of the nearby Residents didn't like too much the idea of a tourist Attraction near their homes, but their opinion was overuled by the City's Counsel.
Elizabeth will be leading this project and all 68 workers and two construction Companies. She has two years to finalize it.

It's absolutely awesome what I see! As you might remember from a previous post of mine, I haven't (by far) read the whole story, so I'll just comment on the pics I see here (Due to lack of time I've reached page 4 by yesterday; luckily I'll have plenty of time to read the story after August 26th, but it really catches me, for sure: it's by far the most original on ST!)

I wondered what texture/lot (whatever) you used to create the brick walls/sidewalks next to your canals (they look absolutely stunning: must have cost you some time to adjust the terrain); and second: how do you create those awesome space images?  with some graphics program? (same counts for the images of your protagonists) They really give this epic an extra touch: it enhances the realism of the story dramatically

It ain't that hard to do the canal digging. There is a 4x1 canal making lot available on the Stex somewhere. All you have to do is to lower the terrain at one point to the desired depth and then use this 4x1  lot to make the canal. It will lower the terrain to the same height whenever you use it on whatever height.

For the textures of the canalwalls, these are original textures from Maxis I think. They are in the LE. All you do is make two 1x1 lots, one simple one with only the texture and another one with a fence on one side and there you have the perfect canalwalls. Not complicated at all.

 

The space images are all made with gmax (the BAT) and then slightly modified with mspaint.That's all to it.

 

You see, my CJ is using simple ideas and simple tools and with some words and an interesting story, we have Nexis of Genesis.....lol

 

You like the pictures?....Imagine if you would have read the story from the beginning? Everything follows up to date and even some older chapters will come back up to the surface in the futur.

Currently I am celebrating my birthday party, and I snuck away to my laptop to take a look for an update. And what a suprize that I was mentioned again in your journal!

 

Also, the planning for my house party is coming along, except that for some reason, there isnt much in the way of rubber balloons! I couldnt believe my eyes when I checked my new Skinner Regional Guide that nobody sold Balloons!

So I arrived at my factory, and guess what I did? I ordered 3,000 multicoloured balloons from Uru! (cost me a pretty penny too)

Well, I hope they can deliver them in time, seeing as there is a long waiting list for the LBST!

Brett, this post is for you.

Red Poll, the township, where big Mansions were forbidden by law, to keep this landscape as natural as it is. This is where Brett had his home built. We already saw it a dozen or so of pages ago, but I guess, Brett himself never saw it.....So, here are three pics just for him.

Alexander MacVicar's Cottage ain't far from Brett's home, only a big shout away.

 

When I came to take close up a picture of Brett's home, a big Deer just crossed the road at the same time and almost it was hit by a car. Proof that this area is just a natural paradise.

Edit: With the Skyscraper Brett is building in Gloryville, he will get a very nice paycheck ,and then He'll be off looking for a place to build HIS Mansion too, but keeping his house in Red Poll as a weekend getaway home.
