In the beginning,even the cemetary was supposed to be moved, but things with the Sirius Group worked out and they are satisfied with less space,although it actually is gigantic.

On a calmer note (sort of), that HQ is really a teaser. You've talked about it for quite a few updates now showing a tiny bit more every time. Hi everybody. I'm just new to this place and I'm just checking out the forums and found this really neat section for city journals and stuff...and so far I can see that this site is amazing. This section of the journal is really nice, Mrbisonm...I've only clicked on a couple of pages and the pictures are excellent. Personally I don't really have Simcity 4 but my little brother does and I've seen him play and it looks very interesting so I just came to Simtropolis to check out what else there are to do for the game. Well, I just want to say I'm really impressed by your city, Mrbisonm, and perhaps I'll spend some time reading through all 40~ pages and try out the game if my brother lets me. Really nice work.

I haven't posted here, or anywhere on ST. I just moved across town so my internet was unavailable for a while. But it's back and I'm back. I can't post comments other than the updates look great, I have yet to read them. I'll reply later with some more constructive feedback.

This will be a big update, because a lot of things have happened and I won't be around for a couple of days. As we all know, Uru is about to panic with less than 45 years for Opall to hit it. Many people are in line to take the LBST (Light Beam Space Traveler). Since the cost of these things are so exagerated and materials for its use is not available anymore, only One LBST system is available for all the immigrants. This machine is now running at its max of 8000 people/week and Joao Otavio is about to shut it down for a couple of days, simply to prevent the overheating of the system.
Also 28 Vessels are always on the go between Uru and Genesis, taking up to 600 passengers each.The round trip from Uru to Genesis and back takes 4.5 months.- Not only people, but also tons and tons of materials of all kinds,from toothbrushes through papers to big machinery and statues are being shipped to Genesis. Uru will be abandonned alright without leaving much behind. 32,000 people are working directly or indirectly with the LBST and the Vessels.
This is all run by the Nexis Corporation and Vallen Nexis himself, which is about to make him even richer.
On Genesis folks are starting to freak out and panic also, because of all the mass that arrives every week...*Where are we gonna put all this stuff and all the people?*... one of the Rulers mentioned in an official meeting....*We have to slow this down by 50 % for now before we all loose control of this situation and give it time to have everything settled*...

These words became the law and the LBST was slowed down for the moment as of now (20:13 hours Gloryville time).

 

All the Construction Companies were called in and asked to push their folks to the maximum and even hire more workers if necessary. Jim, mostly concentrating on  Mansions and Villas , now doesn't have much of a choice to hire more workers and go into commercial and regular residential constructions. Brett is taken up with all the Commercial buildings and Mr Vegetable is hiring also another 100 workers for his Construction Company. Right now Mr Vegetable and Associates are busy building a whole town in Fallow, something like 500 homes and Appartments. Ninten on his side was asked to slow down in Oxalis and was given a whole New Township that he will be filling with homes.What a way to go.
By the end of the year,only 7 months left, more than 300,000 Urulians need to find a place to stay on Genesis. >>> Poor guys/girls at the Immigration Office,just imagine<<<

 

Many other construction Companies have been started and many more to come, the futur is in construction. Dan, the Minister of Education ordered today that at least 3 schools of construction will be built this year to start off the new  workers on a right foot. The schools will be in Axis City,Gloryville and Nexis City and they will be specialized in Construction and architecture. Just by the end of this year almost 30 % of all Highschoolers will end up next year in these construction schools/colleges.
Now, if you think ants can build acuratly and quickly, wait for the Nexians to prove themselves....If the construction business is excellent, then all the rest follows. Now we need more stores,gaz stations,shopping centers,trains and rails, taxis,schools,hospitals,Police etc etc etc......From one to the other,never ending....

 

In the near future we will witness the quick growth of many villages and towns, also the Cities will double in no time and many many more new townships will be opened to the public. More villages,towns and farmlands will pop up all over Genesis.

 

Rilian Waterworks today announced that his water system is almost finished and that most of the townships can already have the pleasure to be connected to the best water available. Here on this map the blue lines indicates the Main water pipelines on Genesis. Every blue dot is a Control/Surveillance building and/or a major pumping system with tank. Rilian has 218,000 people hooked up to his system and more to come. His latest connection was made in White Sands ,which we will later see in this post. Rilian himself does not have much time anymore to do his favourite past time hobby,digging for precious stones and metals.

Hey, a lot of replies and so many views in the last few days. This is great! Thanks.

 

I don't have many news at the moment,except that contact with the *Space Station Nexis II Traveler * was lost again. The station was supposed to arrive in Verto's orbit early last night, about the same time the communication system went dead. We know it actually is in orbit, because Space Station Nexis I ,in outer orbit of Genesis, has confirmed it this morning. Remember they have the Black Eye telescope aboard, which did indentify the crashed ship on Verto some years ago.

Just to mention, a big party was thrown last night in Skinner on the MacVicar Ranch. It was Alexander's 60th birthday, he is the oldest of all our celebrities,and also the richest.

 

I will be back maybe tomorrow or Monday.Thanks again for all the encouragements.
