Thanks for all the comments, as always they're all appreciated and of course a sign that this CJ is still *on the top list*.....1.gif

The problem onboard the Space Station Nexis II Traveler, has not been solved.
Contrary, it is worse than ever before. The toilets are not usable and it seems
like that the floors of these premisses are cracking and it might be possible
that the whole department of the Station will be closed to avoid the internal
    crashing of this area.
Tim, the specialist on the Station has no clue at all why this is happening and
he will try his best to have things fixed. He thinks that is is a structural
failure of some kind. Meanwhile the toilets are removed and rebuild in  another
section of the vessel. Evermind can't believe that this is happening after all
the double verifications of the Station.

    /idealbb/files/1SpaceStation2.JPG
Anyways, it doesn't seem to have bothered the speed of the station though,
because it will be arriving in Verto's orbit very soon. Many things have been
discovered already about the new planet. First it is completely overgrown with a
sort of a plantlife, although no water is visible. The humidity is extremely high
and no winds or other temperature changes have been recorded yet. It seems like
that the weather is totally stable, no wind, no rain,no cold,no hot period,no
    volcanic action, nothing. Just strange.
    /idealbb/files/2ArrivalVerto.JPG
On R.I.C.O.'s Radio this morning, on Genesis of course, some rumours started
about the crashed spaceship not being ours........Now that they are close to the
planet's surface, they have discovered that it might not be from Urulian origin.
Nothing has been confirmed and the army of Genesis did not want to reply with
    this matter.
    What is going on?...............

*Miss Kitty Cat did it*, was the headlines in the Gloryville Tribune this
morning. A scientific and health breakthrough was achieved by the Experimental
Station in WestAxis. Miss Kitty has been working on the mysterious environment in
Oxalis, also known as Megantic Mountain, for the last year and finally found out
with the help of many scientists and chemists, including Vatt (who is onboard the
Space Station Traveler at this moment) that the health conditions in these
counties improve because of a plant called <Phyttomis>. Miss Cat made this plant
available for the Pharmaceutical Institution in Three Towers South to grow
artifically and an extracted liquid from this plant can already be purchased in
some Pharmacies on Genesis. The plant extraction will increase health  by almost
20 % to some of the population only though, meaning probably an expanded lifespan
for some also, but which still has to be tested.
The Sirius Group from Uru bought the entire right of the distribution and is
financing the project to even improve the plant more. Miss Kitty Cat will be
surveying this project in West Axis.- Adley Hawklyn applied for a permit to grow
these plants commercially on his farms.
    /idealbb/files/3WestAxis-Exp.Farm.jpg
While we are in West Axis at this moment, we might as well talk about the new
administration of this county. Mr Adley Hawklyn today was officially named Mayor
of this township, now having almost a population of 500. To top this , the
Regional Administration Office in Gloryville (Main Siege) has decided to change
the name of this town from *West Axis* to *Hawklyn Valley*.
This will be officially and publically done within the next month. We will come
    back to this later.
First a traffic problem has to be solved in this little town, since a lot of
people traveling from Axis City to Grand Dam use these roads. There will probably
be a highway build in the near future to make it a bit easier on the West Axis
    Population.
    /idealbb/files/4WestAxis-CenterVillage.jpg
In Tenzel Outlet, Smurfer Steel announced today that it will be expanding it's
industries to almost double it's production. Mr MacVicar was seen today together
with Mr Night and Mr Smurfer in Grand Dam to probably discuss the needs of
Smurfer Steel. Smurfer himself has somewhat opened the doors to the Gaburans to
export his hi-quality steel and by-products.
    /idealbb/files/5TenzelOutlet-SmurferSteel2.jpg

    That's it again......until the next time.2.gif

    Great update as always.44.gif

I just finished reading the CJ from the start (Took me 2 weeks!)and man what a fantastic one. I couldn't live a day without reading a page of this CJ so you you figure out how helpless I was during the downtime.3.gif

This CJ is so cool that ... I want to be part of it. If there is space left. I think that Genesis has enough businessmen so I would like my caracter to add to the cultural life. I would name it Allan Sapporo and he would be sometime in his carreer the Maestro of the Genesis Symphony Orchestra. Also, he should have great composer skills and while I'm there, Genesis doesn't have a national antem yet! I would start my life in Gloryville.

Again, wonderfull CJ, and hope I can be part of it.9.gif29.gif35.gif17.gif

As always I am glad to see so many comments and people that participate in this CJ.

    Thanks....

Well timotheus, once you're *grown up*, I am pretty sure that a lot of free and natural places are still available in Round Lake Junction. Maybe the village will become a town or even a small City, but did you have a look around? --No bridges to the other side yet! Probably you will find a nice place there....2.gif

cowcorn, welcome to the CJ and you have been accepted on Genesis. I will pm you later next week for some more details.

Evil Octopus Man, I hope so too, looks bad though.....are we gonna have some losses onboard the ship or maybe even a terrible accident that will destroy the whole Station and the causing a mass death toll?34.gif

Oh my....that would be terrible, imagine ....Evermind,Tim,Vatt and many more quality scientists, biologists, chemists and engineers...I'd rather not think about this.........28.gif

ianu, it is *Smurfer* Steel and not *Smurper*, although it kinda looks like a *P* on that sign, but when you have a closer look you'd see. Continue to love this Journal,thanks.2.gif

    Ok...
Now I would like to mention something about the deaths of the older generation.

Soon, quite a few of you will die in a row or many together and only leave memory and your achievements on Genesis behind, just like in real life. I will continue to talk about  you all one by one and only once in awhile. All of you will be remembered.

The list has been made quite some time ago and it will be, as I mentioned in an earlier post, those who have posted and participated less than the others. Two of you are already gone, Miss Elizabeth White and Miss Barby.
Someone who participated more than others , to me was a sign that he/she would love to stay longer in the story and really enjoyed their characters. Some of you have hardly commented more than 3 or 4 times in all and these will go first. Others were pretty busy commenting in the beginning and now are gone, maybe even gone from ST.

Hope that you all can understand this. I have not really any preferences to any of you, but the next generation is unpatiently waiting for their turn to continue to evolve Genesis and build its future.

One more thing, only a few of you will live to see the impact of Opall and two of you will hit the 130 year mark. ....Now I will let you wonder who....41.gif34.gif

Another update will be probably on Sunday night: The birth of a newcomer, more problems on the Space Station, Joao is on half way to Opall, a close look of Megantic or better known as Oxalis ,back to Uru for an instant and Mr Vegetable is starting to prepare a new town somewhere to welcome many thousands of Urulians in the next months....so be there2.gif

    Hmmm.. Breweries.. cool...

The kids are growing up well.. Monica and Arthur just got into Highschool. Have been working both of them to continue the business in family hands. The brewery business seems to be going pretty good... A matter of concern has arisen in the changing of West Axis to Hawklyn Valley, but it is fitting when its where the HQ is. I just dont want the business to go broke or be in debt too much. I think I'll give full medical to the workers here in the valley as an experiment. 5 years worth of full medical.. If it works, then slowly this will be expanded to every branch of the business.

MrB what kinda health care system is on Genesis anyway?

Oh yeah.. I been playing world of warcraft for a couple days.. Looks like some good stuff.1.gif

Wow it's looking cool. Interesting how the ship is ripping apart at the seams42.gif. My goodness West Axis/Hawklyn Valley, has grown, 500 people wow. Well I'd say that I'm still one of the busiest men on Genesis, also my oldest son Kegan has taken an intrest is mansion building and sometimes comes to work with me on occasion, (He's doing correspondence now so he can work some aswell, he is in grade 12 after all), My daughter, Kristina, has her first romence and Sam is enjoying school, he wants to become a soldier. So thats how my life is going right know.

First thanks again for all the comments. This is great and also encouraging for
me to continue. I am also glad that you are still here, since I thought that
maybe the story is getting a little boring by now. But judging by the number of
daily visits of this CJ, it is far from boring I guess.....lol., Thanks you all!

Not much background or history can be said about our new personalities yet, except
what already has been mentioned, but here is a list of the new generation sofar
    (not in any special order):
    Jon Ghaddi (fgottes)-Timotheus (timotheus4)-Chad Benson (superchad)-Horatio Utora
    (utora)-Shane Boxx (crazyarchitect)-Johan Stjern (stjern swe)-Kirk
(organicsabre)-Octavius Augustus Sobchak (sorry I forgot who that is,please pm
me)-Kane Lieberman (cctoide)-and lately born in Saphir on Uru ,Daniel Henderson
(shadow-assasin) and in Cedar Bay Erica Woelfwynde (woelfwynde).
I hope I wrote the names all correctly and didn't forget anyone. If not let me
know please.-Of course there are still two that are not born yet, but will be
included in our story. It will be the characters of PhilTheMagicDragon and
    cowcorn.
I can't give more info of what they will be doing, because it will take away a part of the *spices* in the story.

Ok, here we go again with more news from Genesis, the space and also from Uru
    this time.

First some news from the Space Station Nexis II Traveler. Evermind has reported
that things couldn't be worse at the moment, toilets are not working, not even in
the new area where they were newly built in and the former room is about to fall
apart with the pressure. The whole compartment is blocked off now and of course
Miss Evermind is NOT in a good mood to see this happen.
Tim is about to prepare the escape pods , just in case and Genesis has sent a
vessel with a repairing crew towards the station, which it will catch in less than
    a month.
But one good thing has happened on the Station , Vatt is now sure that he has
figured out a way how to land safely on the meteor, but we will get to that
    intime.

Joao Otavio, the head of the Opall mission left Uru some time ago and is heading
to the Meteor with another group of engineers, geologists and scientists, plus
some material needed on Opall. Two ships only this time, the SSY09 with Mr Otavio
on board and the SSY16. (SSY means: Sim Ship Youffa, which is the name for these
ships). All together with a team of 42 specialists.
As you can see here on the picture below, they are about halfway to Opall and I
thought it would have been interesting to see the meteor from this angle. What
you see on the top left (bright star) is a neighboring solar system.(before you
    ask)

    /idealbb/files/1JO'svoyagetoOpall.JPG
To give you all a better idea how and where things are, I did a reproduction of
the actual Solaris system to show exactly each precise position of the planets.
Just think of it as having a look from above.
The scale might be a little off,so excuse please.
Also it shows the trajectory of the meteor Opall, the space station Nexis II
Traveler, which has Evermind ,Tim and Vatt onboard, plus the actual position at
this moment of Mr Otavio's Ships.
    /idealbb/files/2PlanetarySystem.JPG
Back to solid ground,A place that we haven't been to is Fallow Canyon. Now it
will be busy there for the next month or so, since Mr Vegetable and Associates
have the contract to build a residential Town, which can hold at least 6000 new
immigrants. These will soon arrive, since Urulians are now more than ever busy
    immigrating to Genesis.
Jim (now with his oldest son Kegan),Brett,Mr Vegetable,Ninten, Mr Night,Rilia and
Tim Chula have never been so busy in their lives and they surely could use some
    relief teams.
725,000 Urulian Immigrants are awaited for within the next ten years only, which
is enormous! No unemployment on Genesis in sight for at least half a century,or
    until Opall hits.
    /idealbb/files/3FallowCanyon-Overlook2.jpg
Mr Vegetable already has placed all the streets, and the plans for the homes are
ready too, now they are waiting for Rilian's Waterworks to make the
waterconnection and for Owen Shepherd from Grand Dam to make the larger
electrical connection to this part of the world. Once this is done, Mr Vegetable
will get the green light from the Administration Office to start building the
homes. The deforestation was done by Tim Chula.
    /idealbb/files/4FallowCanyon-Develop.jpg
I want to show you what it is like to be in Urulia these days,so we have a look
at it. You all know, that it is the Capitol City on Uru. Slowly it is getting
abandonned with a lot of people immigrating to Genesis, but also moving to the
second biggest City on Uru, Saphir, which is now the busiest City on the doomed
    planet.
    /idealbb/files/5UruliaQuiet.jpg
In Urulia it is rare now that rush hour is clogging the streets and it is even a
pleasure now to travel to and from work. Most of the businesses have moved to
Saphir, where all the action is and most of them are planning to leave the planet
also and get a new start on Genesis, the new world.
    /idealbb/files/6UruliaDT1.jpg
This is the crater park, once a bridge was built over it to cool off the traffic
that was blocking all around it, but today one can even walk over the street
without putting his life in danger. On the top left is the Sirius Group
Head-Quarters, which is now empty and abandonned. They have moved to Saphir
eleven years ago and are about to leave to Genesis, as soon as Brett finished the
    New HQ in Axis City.
    /idealbb/files/7UruliaParkRd.jpg
In Oxalis rises the Megantic Mountain over the clouds and it can be easily seen
from Jim's Mansion in Tenzel Outlet. Even in Grand Dam, when you are on top and
in the middle of the dam, one can see the mountain on a very clear day.
Here are the plants growing that give a certain health-improving effect, which
Miss Kitty Cat has been experimenting on lately.
Almost half of the township is owned by a handful of private business men from
Genesis. Surprisingly Mr Vallen Nexis, the richest man on both planets, doesn't
    even own an acre here.
    /idealbb/files/8MeganticOverlook.jpg
At the moment the part that belongs to the Administration Office has been slowly
developed and made into a thriving new business: Tourism and  Hostelry.
Hotels, motels and casinos are popping up and many more to come. The beach has
been opened and it seems it is getting too small already. This land was bought
from Sven and Ninten , who have sold it for double of what they paid for, plus
both have been given other terrains here in Oxalis of the same size.
Others who own land here are: Jim,Mr Night,Dr Evel,Mr Vegetable and Barby's land
which is now in the hands of the Gloryville Park Association. This was probably
the best investment someone could have done years ago.
    /idealbb/files/9MeganticMed.jpg
A last look at Oxalis in the early morning, just before we leave. Enjoy the
    sunrise before breakfast.
    /idealbb/files/10Megantic-Sunup.jpg

    Have a nice week.2.gif

Next in the news: an update on the space station - some scientists were reported
missing in Grand Falls (?)- We will say goodbye to someone dear to all of us - a
look at Nexis City and Cedar Bay and Dr Evel had enough of this waiting and
waiting for someone to have his Starbucks built and hired himself a private
construction team, all for himself, called *Evel's Constuction Inc*.Hm...is he
    short-tempered or unpatient?....lol41.gif

The CJ didn't get more boring as you said...
The issue with it is that lately it became more a Day by day storytelling which tends to be a little boring and not the same kind of stroy of the early days (where the WOW factor still was very high) where there were many surpirses, new discoveries and etc.
But now that Opall is nearing uru, things are heating up again and the story is geting more interesting due to the suspense
    Keep it up44.gif

yeah, i don't think you have to worry about the story ever getting boring, MrB...your story telling skills are quite superb...of course, when you combine them with some great pictures of very nice cities with some great custom buildings...well...what else can i say.

but, i really had to comment on your sign for Smurfer Steel...that was priceless. i nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

Why do you always beg people to post their cities up somewhere? CJs are supposed to be for inspiration, and not to be used as a catalog for things you want to download! You really should try playing around a bit!

I can't upload any cities or region because my 56 K won't allow me to do so. I can't download or upload anything that takes more than 30 minutes, then the internet connection gets interupted out here in *nowhere*.15.gif

Have you ever tried a download manager, like GetRight ?
I lived in the wicked hands of dial up for a LONG time, and getright always had been a great help, it saves the download if the internet crashes and even can speed them up, and allows to resume the download later!
Download and give it a try 35.gif
