Adley, yes , maybe you should go see the Lady that has that Mystery farm north of you, but I don't think they'll let you in.Imagine, I am in the regional counsel and they won't let me in.

 

Sven and Ninten1, the building is called Nextel Communications, it is one of my lesser good buildings.It was made to be in the story for a new character who started the Nexis telephone Co-Nextel, but then I changed my mind. I have enough characters to take care of.

 

MrVegetable, Opall is still on the way to Uru, and still a little over a century away. I will talk about Uru and Opall soon enough. -A building named after you? Listen It will take some time, but everyone will have a Bat or a lot after them at one time or another. Also everyone of the characters will have at least once in their lifetime on Genesis, their high glory.

 

Smurfer and Jim, Thanks.---- Now, a lot of lots and Bats have been or are being build for the CJ and most of them never see the daylights of the STEX, unless there is a big demand for them.And almost all of them have little or no use in the game,they are simple parks or Landmarks. If you still would like one or some of them, just PM me with the exact description of the lot you want, and add a decent e-mail address, make sure that is right (please no hotmail, they always come back)...and I will send you that lot/Bat to enjoy.

Now to a small update.........

I tried to go back to Axis City, but the roads were still closed, because of the big fire rage, but it seems it ended and the firemen have finally controlled it.

 

I was lucky though to get some pics from some friend and here we see one of the last Commercial buildings on fire, it was a Paint shop, which was quite flammable as we can see. The propane gaztank exploded at the same moment the picture was taken.

And here it shows the last small fire that was finally put out after one week of hell in Axis City. The roads will open soon for the public again, so we can turn back to our normal lives. Mayor Ciroyon  is now looking for the original cause of that fire and also to see what went wrong that it expanded like this. But this we already know, now don't we. Axis City just didn't have a good fire protection plan.

 

It took 16 Firetrucks ( Genesis only has 22 total in all the townships))to control this fire. The Rulers in Gloryville will have a special meeting about this problem of poor protection of Fire Departments and Security in many Municipalities. And I think that there will be a change in the laws for this soon.- Since I am in the Counsil, I will keep you informed.
This event was not quite welcomed by the citizens of Axis South. Already in much trouble, the City is now losing more and more residents and commerces, which are leaving for better towns.Ciroyon already lost the Mayorship of Axis South and Axis Harbour last year and I think he will loose Axis City and West Axis in the next election too.Sad but true, the  Gaburan Ambassador surely realizes it and is looking for help to conserve Axis City, his dream.

This morning, we will go to Tenzel Outlet and stay there for the day to finish

with a short look at Treeland. Many different things have happened here.

 

Firts lets talk about the terrible accident that everyone on Genesis heard of by

now. On the road towards Gloryville, at the time of Rush Hour, Jim got hit by a

car and is very seriously hurt. Right now, they have him transferred to the

Gloryville General Hospital and he is between life and death,as we speak.

 

This is what happened: On his way to work to finish building the new home for

Ninten, he was going southward on Ripley's road, when a drunk driver lost control

of his vehicule and hit the Bus that was going to Gloryville. The Bus in its turn

hit the convertible, which hit another car and so on. When Jim came in around

that corner, already 5 cars were implicated in this accident, and not to hit one

of them , he tried to manoever his car around them, but without success and he

hit the first stopped car (above) to finally finish hitting a tree .
I heard that he was in the coma, and the fellow from the ambulance wouldn't know

if Jim would survive for another day, badly squished behind his steering wheel.
Let's all hope the best for him. I will be back tomorrow to find out his

condition.

It was also today, the Grand Opening day of the Smurfer Steel Corporation in

Tenzel Outlet. A day that Smurfer was waiting for since quite awhile. -You should

have seen the smile on his face, when he cut the ribbon to his office. More than

60 workers started on the first day, waiting for the truckloads of Iron ore

coming in from Coarsevuille's MacVicar Mines. What a day for him! Now he has to

make sure to produce first quality steel at the quantity demanded.His first

contract goes to Noyita Dice, who will be building her first bridge in Nexis

City.

Here's a closer shot of the Industry, in the early morning, when no one has

arrived yet. The Company is in three sections, one for steel beams,pipes and

rods,- steel blocks and balls and steel sheets. Production will commence right

away, but it will take a couple of months before it will run all smoothly.

The Tenzel Security Office, started by Sherlock Holmes, is the first of its kind

to protect and serve the Citizens of Tenzel Outlet. There will be others in other

townships.
Right in front of it, used to be the home of Ninten, who got an offer, he could

not refuse, to make room for commercial buildings. In his case , it was a Motel

which was built here.

Ninten in exchange for the home he lost, he was offered a new home and bigger

too, on the Beach road,less than 100 ft (30m) from the Temzel Beach. Also we see

the location of Jim's accident, while he was going to finish Ninten's home that

morning.

Some News from Space-Station Nexis One ,that I just received with a picture. Phase 3 is almost done, Evermind reported and Tim mentioned that the pieces for phase 4 only need to be tested before they go into space by the end of this week.

 

Scientists report that the Space Ears are functioning at 100%.

I have lots of comments:
Let's hope Jim does well and survives. No one should ever drive drunk.

I like my new house better (it's in a nicer place and the beach is in front of it). But why is there a police car, parking lot, and some signs around it? I don't need that much parking space.

And I like the Starbuck Cafe, but I'd probably be hanging out at the In-N-Out down the street. Too bad there are none where I really live (SE Pennsylvania).

Overall, one of the best parts of the story yet.

EDIT: Well, it appears Gizmo's flora mod wasn't working because it was conflicting with either Teirusu's limitless beach mod or the Ground Fog mod.  Sorry ... I love the water in my cities now.

ninten1, to answer your question: the lot beside you is not yours.You only have a 1x1 lot, the one with the copcar is your neighbor, his house is in the back, and he is a security Officer from Sherlock's Company. I guess you couldn't have a better neighbor.

 It was all over TV tonight, news from Space Station Nexis I,with help of *Space Ears*  pointed into the direction of the Kavidia System, the Scientist definitively heard a clear explosianlike sound. One Scientist said as a joke: * well, I guess somebody just played with a nuclear bomb somewhere in that system...hahaha*, . Of no idea exactly where it came from, nor exactly what the sound was, scientist can't wait for the phase 4 (the telescope) of the Space Station to be installed.*We will continue to keep the *ear* pointed in that direction for the time that the Building team is on vacation for the 3 weeks*, the chief scientist said.

Please everyone understand this:
Updates for some personalities might be a little long, but with all these characters to deal with, it seems to me normal.I put an *X* beside each name on paper,who participates,whenenver I talk about him/her in the Cj, so to have the equal amount of appearances within every 10 days for each. Except for those that joined later.

 

It was a decision of the Counsel and the Rulers, that Atlas will be reserved for the Defense Office. Besides the road and the railway, it will belong to the army, except for a small part (the west part of the road) that will belong to Gloryville for Residential use only. Most of these homes will be for the folks working for or in the army and air force. The project Space Station Nexis I is part of this area also. The parts have been and will continue to be manufactured here, since Vallen Nexis started all this here on his land and after donated the whole Land to the Government, in exchange to be able to use the facilities for the Space program in the futur to come.
Here in a day or two, Evermind with here team will land for a 3 week vacation, well earned, coming back from the outer orbit. Tim working for the same program, but on the ground ,has gotten the same order to take 3 weeks off. He is eager to return and finish the telescope, phase 4 for the space station.

 

 Here we have the Command Center of this Base, with Col. T.Jerter in charge.

In Grand Dam, a new fellow was hired for the plumbing system of the Central Water systems. Owen Shepherd will be taking care of this,just newly arrived with a lot of knowledge of the Modern piping sustems. He was given his office and a 3 man staff and will be responsable for the lower part of the dam piping.

Now a few other News: Jaoa Otavio, the man that tried to repair the LBST system, has been working on this for quite awhile now and might just have found the solution. He now knows the reason why it is detoured, but cannot explain yet,why it is detoured to that planet out there.

The massive electromagnetic field that Solaris and Kdorn are generating are being disturbed by the space-deplacement of Opall , arriving in the system. This is so powerful that even the light is bending and that's why the Lazer never reaches its goal on Genesis and vice-versa. Mr Otavio told the Press, that it could be fixed with a counter machine that he is working on right now, which doesn't take much to do.*All this should be ready in 2 weeks*,he said* and we will be back getting folks from Uru*.

 

Tim Chula, still living in the outback of the land he bought in Black Lake, gave his resignation to Razor Blade Logging Industries today, telling everyone that it is time for him to act on his own now. I suppose he found some money to start his own Logging buissness. Wonder where he got that from.

 

Mr Vegetable was asked this morning to come to the Nexis Corporation Office in Gloryville to discuss a deal with Vallen Nexis and his son Troy. Since the election of the new Mayor in Axis South and Axis Harbour, he is on unemployment at the moment, but this might work out fine for him, since the Nexis family want to enlarge Nexis City towards the west. Mr Vegetable, having some good experience in this, was glad to hear that. We will all wish him luck to get the job.

 

Dan, our Elementary school teacher, was named School Director in Nexis City. At the same time, he was called in by the Mayor's Office, to replace the Mayor for awhile, because he is very sick. (Vallen Nexis gave the mayorship to someone else until the next election, because he did not have enough time for mayoring). Having enough knowledge to run a small town like this for a few weeks or months, he gladly accepted.- He also rented another house towards the east,and I don't blame him with the neighborhood he had down there. (remember the second murder? It was never solved.) The school has now 160 kids and 6 teachers.

Both have their homes built on top of the hill with an overview of the Rilian's Marina and the Bay.
