Yay! Another part, and it's one of the best yet! Can't wait to see the harbour!

OK, here we go again, hoping that you will like this updated story.(starting to get interesting now)...lol

This is the last of three updates, concerning the beginning of Axis (what a beginning).From now on, we just let it grow by itself and come back only once in awhile to see how things are develloping.

 

In the Main City, Axis Central or Axis City, as some might call it, the finishing touches have started and only some more adjustments are required for the final work of the City.Now that the principal functions of Axis City are ready, Ciroyon, the Mayor of all Axis dependencies, will see to it that more utility Services will find their quarters also, such as the train-station, Hospital,College, and many more that we will see growing here and there in the near futur. Still some more bricklaying on the sides of the canal have to be done as we can see here.

 

 

Just on the other side of the canal,a industrial park has develloped and is drawing more and more Manufacturers to the town. Industries with High-pollution are not allowed, taxes for them are so high , that they won't be able to survive for very long.*We want this place to be the most beautiful City on Genesis* Mayor Ciroyon explained to the Medias. Mayor Krug, newly elected in Gloryville, our Capitol, didn't agree. He said* It'll take much more to even get close to Gloryville, concerning the beauty and life quality. Come and see the new Harbour of the Capitol, and you will be wanting to stay forever*- Interesting,I guess we have to go back to Gloryville to see the finished new Pleasance harbour.

Axis also has a pleasance harbour at the end of the canal, where the canal starts getting underground from here on and connect with the Northern Region.

The whole project of this harbour was sponsered by all the new buissnesses in Axis, since the Axis budget is becoming dangerously low. -Kevin Slayer, the fellow that bought the Dice's Mansion in Bolton, was seen working on one of the Fishing Boats. Does he start having Financial problems? Maybe that Mansion was a little bit too expensive for him? We're gonna keep an eye on him.

Here we can see thee impact on the region of Axis and its harbour, being build. Some say, the Axis Harbour project will be killing Tenzel Junction for good, others say, it is bigger than the Grand Dam Project, although not even a quarter of the workforce of Grand Dam is building the Harbou, and still some others say, that it will become the Capitol .Vallen Nexis,The CEO of the LBST and the owner of 16 Space ship busses, had to put his word into that also . On a special Meeting in Gloryville with the counsil and the Rulers,he said: Axis.......well folks......it sounds sooo good that it will not become true. Impossible! Oh yes, they started well, no doubt.....but did you see the debts they are getting into? Gaburans don't think the same way as us Urulians. Money doesn't matter to them, but we.....we simply need it to survive and it is much too early to give in to their way of living yet. - Axis Harbour is a great project, I agree.....but why so fast and why so big? What is Ciroyon trying to proof here? *............................................................( a moment of silence and deep breath taking, he continues, * I will start Nexis City in the next year, very slowly, I will invest a lot of my money into it, and my Sons will continue, if they want to. But never will it be finished within one year, like Axis. They will go bankrupt before they even realized it. That is not what I want. My Father Daight always said: Son, if you wanna do something good that lasts, do it slow and do it with your head.- That is what I will do.* The speech lasted for more than 20 minutes, and everyone just stood there with an open jaw, never having heard Mr Nexis say so much at once.

The grand View of the Construction site of Axis Harbour,which has been and still will cost a fortune beyond believing.Mayor Ciroyon has no choice than to raise taxes in Axis to help him pay for all this, and he said that it will pay itself with the tourism he's awaiting for the Harbour.Hm....wait and see is all we can do now.
Here the canal ,the same as in Axis city, is connected with the canal there and which in its turn dumps into the Harbour bay and then into the sea. The bridges, both road and train, already are in place to connect to the islands that connect to the Easter Region of Karulk,which also is growing like mad.

Here we can see the terraforming of the walls of the harbour and canal. Again, just like the Grand Dam project, thousands of tons of soil and rocks are being displaced for the construction of the Harbour. Being better situated than in Tenzel, it might become a danger ,to close up their harbour before it even starts. That would be an economic disaster for the Town of Tenzel.

This is the harbour itself, where the ships will load and unload teir merchandises. Much more has to be done and the structures are being made sure that they will be solid.

A final close look at the canal entrance,which will be covered with an armor of cement. Ciroyon has in mind to build an industrial sector here, that has never been seen before. Mr Vegetable is working on these plans right now..... Wonder what they are up to again.

 

Now, that we know quite a bit about Axis, in the next update , we will go back to Uru,see what they are doing about the LBST, Opall and the newly found planet. Also we will have (only a glimpse though) a look at Gloryville's Harbour,Bolton, Grand Dam,Black Lake and the *Nexa Project*, the new Space station. And of course, we will have more updates of some of our Immigrants,which we really didn't talk too much about lately.

YAY! Part three is here, and it's as good as always.

For the canal problem (the fact that they can't reach it), couldn't there be stairs with protective fencing around it?

Well J.O. I am glad you figured out how to make low profile bridges.

 

I had a couple of minutes, more like an hour that is, and I did this small taste of what is to come in the next update, as promissed......lol

 

The Emperor from Mahoon has gifted the Nexians with this Park, which was a part of Oriole's garden on Mahoon.This park in Gloryville, is to remember the first contact that the Nexians had with Oriole. Of course another one will be build right where his camp was and where they met ,once a road has made a possible access.
Gloryville was chosen , because it was the first camp on Genesis.

 

Now (finally) Gloryville has its own TV Station, just beside the Plaisance harbour.GGC-TV (Genesis Gloryville Communication Television) has hired right away Rico Az, the fellow that made the New Sholes Harbour so famous, and made him the Responsable Director for the Advertising Department....He got seriously drunk when he heard that , later that night.

One of the most secure places in Gloryville is the harbour and its surroundings.All this was especially built to draw tourists who might want to stay and live here later on.The Parking is under surveillance 22 hrs /day (don't forget, days are shorter on Genesis, only 22.4 hrs to be exact).Almost at the end of the harbour, one can see the statue of Capt.Furron, who was one of the first on Genesis and also the Founder of this township.

 

The harbour is surrounded by a beautiful Park, but we don't wanna show everything yet.We just have to wait to see the rest, next week, so.....be back soon!

If I have read this right you still need a farmer? Well, I'm applying for the job. Do you have a specific plan for this farmer? If not, I imagine myself as a farmer with some underground secret genetics work for the government.

Captain's Log: Stardate 000172 before Nexis........oupps, wrong post....

 

Two more details of the Gloryville Harbour.First picture: Since this area is patrolled every 30 minutes by Security Officers, some of the Rulers have themselves built their home near the Plaisance Harbour of Gloryville, just behind the Cemetary.The tunnel we see on the top, leads to the parking that is on the sea level below.This parking is only for the Boaters.Whether you have your own boat here, or whether you just wanna take a ride around the bay, or just rent one,your vehicule is in a safe place here.

 

Also nearby the Harbour is the new Daight Nexis Memorial Park, which was built to honor Daight and his wife, who both have their ashes below these statues.Daight finally made it to Genesis,his lifetime dream. This is a public Meeting place with the members of the Association,the Rulers including the Grand Ruler ,the counsil and the public,when weather allows it .Serious things will be discussed her,concerning the welfare of the Nexians and Genesis,...like......well, next week, they will have their first meeting (we will be here) about the founding of the Nexian army .Some are against it , but somehow ,they need organized protection from someone.

 

Oh....Since I am always invited to the Meetings,Freddy Bison (yah,that's me) and some friends,like J.O.,Barby,Elizabeth White,Smurfer and many others , will go next door of the Park, after the Meeting and have a coffe, tea or even a cold beer at the *Baby Chicks Pub*. This place is right on the border of the Harbour Park and ,while sipping your coffe or whatever you like, you can observe these beautiful Yachts coming in and leaving from the Harbour.

 

Maybe I'll be back tonight with another supplement.

Had my lunch and some time to add another supplement update.Anyway, there are all ready to upload since a week or so.

Jim, I will show a better picture of the Daight Park, when the Meeting is due.

 

Again thanks for the nice comments, we are getting to see more often the nice stuff now. Hm....wait until you see the City when it's at its biggest.I got some nice stuff and eyecandy coming up, and some very soon too.

 

The tunnel is for real,and it is very hard to make a tunnel like this and it might take a few tries to finish one.--Make a hill and draw the tunnel through (you can make different heights for each end),enter G on your keyboard to show the grid, than take the leveling tool in God mode and adjust it to size 1 in View 1, click on view 5 (now the leveling tool is at its smallest) and start carefully leveling around the tunnel,block by block and grid by grid.You cannot level the square behind the tunnel on both, entrance and exit .Once finished, take a custom lot with texture only and place them over the tunnel, like I did on the picture. That's how.-Peg's treelot is beautiful too on a tunnel like this.

Your right about those financial probems mr b, i had to sell my jacuzzi just to by my groceries.
fortunately tho, i was just named fisherman of the month for the first time. I had cought a humungus new species of fish that my manager Bob Vila turned over to the nexis science center. They garaunteed me 50% of any research profits (so far not much).
anyhoo, Im finnaly making heads and tails of things around me. aND i hope that soon ill be able to afford the raw materials ill need for my first prototypes

First of all, you all have to be patient, like I said before, I have over 30 characters to take care of.Some might take longer at the beginning and then non stop for awhile to finish slower again, all depending on the need of the story.I still have to take care of my story,now don't I?...lol But don't worry, I have it all on paper,when and what I wrote about who,so that everyone at the end will have the same amount of appearances.Sounds good?
Ok, so let's have another update about Gloryville. This time less talking.

Btw, Joao Otavio did not repair the LBST yet,it is function normally now, but it still is sending the lightbeam to that other planet.Something else is wrong.- And Mr knight is still figuring out how to get all that legal stuff with Axis done, since it is so quickly developping. - Henry Zeddicton bought that lot in Axis, but now he is looking for a construction Co to build his shop, but none are available for the moment, so he has to be patient for awhile.Someone told me that he goes fishing every afternoon in the canal in Axis,while writing down on paper all kind of things for his new store.

 

Not many words ,and only 4 pics, but I guess, since two days you have had more than sufficient to read and look at. (I hope)

A last picture from Gloryville. They had the meeting this morning about the question of preparing an army or defense group or not.The decision was final and it is yes.An entire township will be chosen for this project, by the comity.

The discussion with the public wasn't long, and after less than an hour,it was evident that Genesis somehow needs a defense organization.

 

It is below the statues of Daight Nexis and his wife that more futur decisions will be made. - In front of the colosses,the Rulers sit with the grand Ruler heading.To the sides ,these are the buissness men that have enough influence on the votes, and in between the population and the Grand rulers , is the counsil, which have the  influence on the Rulers, which in their turn have the most solid votes.

This Park,as we know, is just besides Plaisance harbour in Gloryville, but also just beside the new Regional Administration Office.
