BlackPhoenixSim4 -first off you need this file from this link https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=168 . You have to register but its well worth it. This file used to be located here at the time of release of the set. it is now located at jeronij's own site SC4Devotion.com. I have been away for awhile and was unaware of this until recently. This information is lacking in the help files. though the downloads now link to sc4devotion. it also sounds like your missing "Diagonal Fix Mod" by pjot Heres a direct link https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=15048 . this info is provided in the tutorial and on the download liink. . furthermore all the other information you asked is in the tutorials. you fill in the holes with 1x1 lots. try acouple of the default maxis ones. look for ones that arent slope conforming. also you can zone in those and with some grooming get the appropriate buildings to grow there. look in the tutorial theres a mess of pictures too..

Some terrain mods also change the way SC4 creates such edge and/or overwrite the mod mentioned by BuddyBud.

If you have installed a terrain mod (I only heard that the Meadowshire Mod would behave like this) remove the mod and see what happens to your edges.

First of all, fantastic job on a great idea. I have always thought the el-rail didn't look as good as it could, and now I know why. Just a question though, did you use NYC's or Chicago's el-rail as an inspiration, or both? Again, great job!

One suggestion though: I would make the ground under it something different, badly kept concrete perhaps.

Jimnal:When you post in a thread, the date of your post appears on the upper left corner.Look at the date of the last post before yours. You've actually posted in a thread that had been long inactive so it's unlikely that you can find any solution for your problem there.I think that there should be a place to do that, though i don't know where.Hope you can find it and have best of luck. However, try to don't bump old threads, that is don't post on threads that had been long inactive.

Dragging rail on the bridge being built over the avenue, and

rail is why it falls on the road, and formed the railway

    crossing under rail bridge..

What should load to the rail does not fall on the road when

dragg it on the bridge above the road ?

You cant just drag the rail over the road, you need to use the bridge pieces that are included in The NAM

After getting the NAM use the rail over road piece and two onslope pieces on either side of the rail over road.

    Edit : Becsue I am.

He posted and bumped this thread becsue it is what is linked to in the readme of that download.

First, you bumped an old forum.

Second, this isn't the right place to ask it.

Third: you've got to use NAM overpasses to create it...

edit: ... why are you so fast, xylo? 18.gif

ive just realised that highways can be replaced for avenues or even normal roads and stuff ( although the tunnel mods i have only do avenues or highways), my cities suddenly look sooo much better.

I trieded this mod, and the first time i forgot to add 1 dependencie. But I added it later on.

After that double checked, but I still get some ugly icons and colorirritations.

As stated at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INf_HuzKbtg&src_vid=k6P7o4hIH6Y&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_176469 all the mods and depends installed...

sim city 4 deluxe, nam and spam and also peg seasonal woods v206b.

These "ugly colorations" are, in fact, placement helpers that show you what the element will look like once it is plopped in place. This is a very useful help because it prevents you from having to plop these pieces "blindly" (as well as bulldozing and re-plopping if you plopped them at the wrong place). Once you have plopped everything and run the game again, these orientation helpers will disappear automatically so everything looks normal.

Btw, are you sure that the included readme doesn't mention anything of this?

Well, these things are simply timed props that are set to appear briefly and then disappear. I cannot for the life of me think of any configuration that would cause these props to become magically permanent or lead to any interference with the timing settings.

Just to make sure, you did let the game run for a few SimWeeks after plopping them? You are not still in pause mode?

I hope I can get this sorted here. Everything seem to work perfectly fine with the sunken HW walls, except for the steeper sections.

    K3QGMFO.jpg

I have the dependency (they show up as ploppables in game) and the jagged edges mod. As you can see, everything shows up fine, except for the actual walls. Tried to reinstall the straight package, but it didn't help.
