Shadow_Prophet, Nice use of the terrain. It's hard to create a city on mountains like that, but you do it very well.

Mike, Nice city you have there. 100,000 people is a fairly significant number for a small tile.

The_Sanderson, Nice city shots and good idea for a thread.

Here's a shot of Midtown Marquette. You're looking to the Southwest in this shot and you can see the edges of downtown right corner of the shot. Downtown runs along the large body of water that you can see in the top part of the picture in the tile to the upper right of this one. In the center you can see the I-60/I-21 interchange. I-60 is the one that continues to downtown and is one of the busiest freeways in the state. You'll notice the city's "ghetto" to the right of I-60 and left of I-21 after it turns. These two freeways built in the late fifties as part of the Federal Highway Act of 1956 along with I-260 which runs across the top of the picture have choked off development in this area and have resulted it being the poorest area in the city. To the right (actually the North) of it you'll see some of the old factories, some of which have been abandoned and all of this is just minutes away from a beautiful and vibrant downtown.

Clarkham consists of the SW corner of the Crater Lake Metropolitan region. The core city itself is about 6 million sims and the greater conurbation is 24 million. Clarkham is 800k, beyond this is urban sprawl for several miles.

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." - Frank Zappa

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides
