...im soooo lost. I check the population a couple weeks ago and there were like 60K members. Now its 100K? Hmm. Not to toot my own horn but did I call it or what?  Weeks ago, when most prople were predicting we would reach 100,000 members before Christmas, I said it would be between Christmans and New Years.  It might have been only by a few hours but I was right.  Congratulations to Dirk and Simtropolis for achieving this tremendous milestone.  How about some predictions about 200,000?

Hmm I wonder if golfbunny was back and tweaked it naw. Congrats to dirk for this great site. Next the mark to go for is 1 million.   To bad the cool population sign doesnt exist anymore. I can still rememeber when simtropolis hit 10,000 it was awesome!! Does anyone still have a pic of that sign when it hit 10,000.

I am excitied i never thought that the comuity was going to be this big. Anyway with sych a large and pouplar website there are always thoose people that try to take advatage of it. I saw one and i was like  simtroplis.com
I saw another   simtopolis.com

I hate theese people, but it is somthing we have to deal with when you have a large or pouplar website.

Take Mapquest.com for example

There are over 50 misspellings of the website that are the advtimsent million banner syware installing sites. There were over 100 for google until they bought out most of them. for example gooogle.com redirects to google, googgle.com does not. Simtropolis in its growing pouplarity is stating to have theese websites popup too. And theese websites are bad there are compaies that pay people to install spyware onto computers theeses type of websites are where the people getting payed to put spyware and viruses do their work. So if you are concenrd then make a link or put it in your favorites. Make sure you put in the correct domain name or you could loose some of your files or worse your entire computers. People underestimate what the newer spyware will do, so protect your self or make  link.

 

I am not trying to sound overcncerned. I just want people to be aware.
