Very beautiful lagoon region you've got! For some reason the capitol seems more Spanish than French, but that's just me. Maybe its the roof style that reminds me of Barcelona...

We take a ten-minute flight to Mootema from Tepua island. Mootema, one of Tepua's most exotic islands, is home to the two villages of Toamapu and Nuahava.

Nice little airport I like how the runway is diagonal! 4.gif

For the huts, I was mainly curious about the bats themselves because my city is tropical too! 9.gif

fantastic update again. I see there is another fan of tropicalness! Like me, 4.gif

I believe you took the layout from the island from Fidji? Am I right? Anyway great development on it. And one thing more, can you tell me where I can find this floating bunglows (I saw them in Nawako too). Thanks, feliwi

Just a quick update, next time I'll reply. Today we look at St. Catherine International Airport (SCA). The runway is extra short, so jets have to fly really low before touching down, and Keihei beach, a beach near the end of runway 08, has become a favorite spot for airplane fanatics!

It's beautiful! I really like the attention to detail- The airport has the luggage transport and everything. I think that you also picked a terminal that works well- not too big, not too small. I just can't imagine how messed up the flights must get when there's a bad storm and the airport floods over. 43.gif

(quoting everybody) - That's an awesome airport you have there! The picture of the landing planes a nice touch too. Just out of curiosity (since I am ignorant when it comes to airports), what is that little roundabout for in picture 2?

It's indeed PJIA (or TNCM in ICAO code)...

    It's free, really? That's cool.

That church you had in the second to last post, I really like it. It's perfect architecture for the area. Very pretty too.

Nice airport. I like the way it's desingned. The only thing I hope for is if I was at that beach that that guy in the foreground *with something missing* doesn't cross my paths...9.gif

UPDATE TIME! Today we learn about life on the atolls, and Ohana atoll is our prime example. The towns are small, the airports seem big, and there's always that neat little hotel. I present to you,

    Life on the Atolls...

    89725694803769873-2.jpg

The town of Napahuma is one of the smallest in Tepua.

    89725694803769873-3.jpg

    The airport.

    89725694803769873-4.jpg

Across the lagoon, some parts of the atoll are so skinny that you can run across in less than 20 seconds.

Ohana atoll. Can you see the little reef?

Cobra_nVidia: Yeah, I like diagonal. Thanks!

feliwi: Big fan, yay! I don't know what you mean, how does the "layout" resemble Fiji?

    jacqulina: Thanks!

nihonkaranws: You've been to TAHITI? I am SO jealous!

    Gecko_2006: Lol, thanks!

nihonkaranws: Thanks again! It is from PJIA!

    fourthparallel: Thanks!

    edmonton_stinks: Thanks!

City2TheMax: Thanks a lot! Since there isnt enough room for an exit taxiway, it's for the planes to turn around and use the runway to get back to the terminal.

    lucky7: Thanks!

    jacqulina: Thanks!

petriknl: Thanks, glad you like the site!

    Rictiovarus: Thanks!

OK, that makes sense (with the airport thing). Another great update, as usual! Your use of a variety of palm trees is a nice addition. And that last picture is truly stunning!
