Hypertrophy Bay / Avalon District

Much of the history lies at the Hypertrophy Bay from the late 20th Century and beyond. Hypertrophy Bay is one of the most active areas of shipping industries, and tourism. Where the downtown base at and other areas lie.

The Bay consist of four islands, Howry, Nadezhda, Emancipation, and Memorial Islands. Each of them hold there purposes.

Howry Island

History: The island was once a final place for prisoners to be executed and dumped into the bay for burial. Cruel and unusual punishment was common, until its seizure of the island in 2012. After its independence, the island was later used for diplomats to settle their foriegn politics there. A stone base that was once an excecution camp was converted to a museum to remind the citizens where its ancestry come from.

Today the Global Alliance Center is nerve center for all political officials of any union, many embassies are held all around the City of One and a coast guard station patrols the area of the Hypertorphy Bay and beyond.

Nadezhda Island

History: This island was once a retreat for the First Empress of Hypertrophy until her death. However, she wanted to have a tomb built for her death. The mansion was built in 2027, and the garden was tended by her subjects. She called it a home away from home, where she loved the view of the bay and the ocean. Upon her death in 2069. Her body was placed next her husband, (Omar Alkaquanny) 

Today: Many visitors visit the island daily. Open to the public. The Island is heavily guarded, since there are valuables that date back since the early 20th century.

Memorial Island completed in the early 22nd Century, the island is used to bury top important political officials, and civilian heros of Hypertrophy

Emancipation Island

The Original name was Barquet Island. This Island was once a mansion built by Jon Barqet. He wanted to isolate himself from the civilazation. Until his death in 2054, the island was retreived by the kingdom and was used as a royal sanctuary garden until its decision to build a symbol of the kingdom. 

The Great Statue was completed in 2165. This is the symbol of independence. At night it glows like no other in the kingdom.

Approximately 3 million tourists visit Emancipation Island.

Hypertrophy Royal Navy Yard

Once a U.S. Naval Depot in the 1990's throughout the early millenium. Hypertrophy attained the Depot to build one of the kingdom's strongest naval arms.

Yanis District

History

A very influential Russian neighborhood. Mostly from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Belarus. Many emigrated from there to find better means of living. The district was once a small little town founded by Nadezhda and Yanis Serov. A couple who wanted to settle away from the city in 2020. The town grew due to its opportunity of rich farmland, and industrious community. Upon death a statue of the couple is placed on Nadezhda Island in honor. Their contribution to the kingdom was becoming the leading nation that enforces "The Green Law" keeping polluting and oil industries from investing in Hypertrophy. Until this day, Hypertrophy does enforce "The Green Law"

Many other nations followed this act, allowing such industries to conduct business, but those that provide pollutants to the atmosphere are required a hefty tax, or no trade to the other nations including Hypertrophy.

Today

The Yanis district holds alot of history, including one where the Zukovsky Crime Family originated. Yanis district had once been noted as a neighborhood for known gangsters of the Russian Mob. But little by little, the neighborhood is changing its tarnished reputation.

One of its noted landmarks in the Yanis District is the St. Catherine's Church, completed in 2114

Royal District

Just north of the Civic Center is where the heart of the Hypertrophian Government lies. The Royal District is the home of the Emperor/Empress of Hypertrophy and Prime Minister of Hypertrophy. The center where the delegates meet, and home to many embassies that represent many nations from the COFR to other unions.

The Royal District has many distinctive landmarks. Millions of visitors take a tour each day to see the most iconic landmarks of Hypertrophy. One of the noted landmarks is the Sempiternal Gardens. It stretches 2 miles long from the Delegate Building to Market Square. The Sempiternal Palace and Monarch Row lie in between the Gardens. Although it is sealed off from the public. Though there are high rises, but from the Delegate Building to Market Square there are no high-rises to be built for security reasons. City ordinance demands that building shall not rise more than 4 stories high, with the exception of the HMI Builing. (Hypertrophy Military Intelligence)

Sempiternal Palace

I]

Completed in 2039. This is the home of the Empress of Hypertrophy. The palace contains 11 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 4 living dens, 3 dining halls, 2 ballrooms, undreground linkway to the parliament, HMI and Royal Police Headquarters. This palace has high security watched by the Royal Police of Hypertrophy and the HMI. (Hypertrophy Military Intel)

Even with all the hard work it came out simply splendid. In Sierrastare we have no district for royal functions as they are scattered between a few cities for security reasons. But that is simply lovely.

Vandernaap I believe. It is a museum originally. I just edit the lot only to a landmark. It is a museum. just can't place the name. And with STEX down, it is hard to check up. 

I chose it, because it was gothic and had a modern sun roof look.
