After the massive expansion to the west and north of Brenelle, the population boom brought with it a new demand for higher education facilities. Never one to play second best, most of the Rivierans who could contribute towards this grand project did so, led by the founder and first president of the university, the highly influencial Thomas Brandon, one of the most powerful people in the city. The project brought with it new investment into the city, with people calling it the beginning of a golden era. With the expansion of Riviera into the main island, especially with everyone trying to acquire land around the Andestranne Castle, this was exactly what the city of Brenelle needed to keep it growing strong. The picture below is an aerial picture of the entire campus:

Below are the pictures of the new dorms built for the University of Brenelle. Each building can house 820 students, with the total coming out to be 3100 students. Ofcourse, nearly all the students are commuters, but to meet with the future demand of the area, the dorms are being kept in top shape.

Pictured below is the statue in the middle of the university of Thomas Brandon, the man responsible for bringing the University of Brenelle to life, and the 1st and current president of the U of B. Alot of the funding came directly from his pocket, and he refused to accept anything substandard during the construction of the university.

The final picture today features the northern part of campus, and the Bradfield Building of Business Administration. Named after Mr. Bradfield of Bradfield Emporium, one of the most successful businessmen in the area. He contributed immensely towards the building, allowing the U of B to hold its very own Business Administration center.

It was reported that President Nedal, although not Canadian, showed up at the Coffee House with a big red Maple Leaf on his chest, and got rowdy with his Canadian-Rivieran counterparts. It was rumored he drank a bit too much, and reported feeling like his head had been bulldozed to make way for Simgoober cinemaplex.

I showed up with my team of Raptor Pilots in red jumpsuits.  We were reported to be looking like santa!  As soon as we got there though we had to leave, sorry to tell you Mr. President but we had to restrain you and probably the part about the bulldozing was when I had to hit you head with a flashlight in my jumpsuit.  Professional though, I din't enjoy it!

 

Also I think I had worded my last post wrong.  I didn't BUY the F/A-22 Raptors, the government GAVE them to us on loan for us to have a fighter wing.  As they make more they will send them to us.

The Year of '02 has found its way to us, and Brenelle has been growing larger than ever. In just one year, Brenelle has grown to about 60,000 people, and this has been taken advantage of by our resident architecture firms. Infact, Olberding Architecture and RHF Architecture built their first major residential projects right next to each other! Granted, they were very different in style, but it was said that neither was too happy about the land being sold to their rivals. Nevertheless, Mayor Wood of Brenelle attended both opening events.

Another opening event was the Bradfield Emporium-Nordstrom Center collaboration, on West Boulevard. This will be the second Bradfield Emporium opening up in the city, and its bigger than the original by a sizable amount.

As for the Klutzer Tea Co., they have sprung up branches all over the city, but the most popular ones, ofcourse, are near the University of Brenelle, where the students spend their afternoons just chilling and/or studying.

Instead of driving up the grand drive at the start of the driveway there is a little tunnel that leads to the carpark under the house, a bomb shelter too of course

Thanks, deathtoall, and I'll work on your offices right away. Both buildings have ushered in an new era for Brenelle, and the city has continued expanding. The latest census has it up to 70,000 already.

With Brenelle continually growing, it is only normal for those seeking a quieter type of life to begin to think of relocating elsewhere. George Colazzi, a resident of Brenelle was seeking exactly that, and it was on one of his getaway vacations with his family when he discovered the site of the town they call Haven.

Wondering north one Sunday with his family, Colazzi was looking for a nice spot along the coast to have a relaxing beachside picnic. He normally would go over to Hawthorn Peninsula just north of Brenelle, but because the heavy industry that had been taking over nearby, he decided he wanted to drift further north. The new road that had been laid out was perfect for driving and enjoying the great Jumtar Island weather, he noticed a perfect location, just east of Undari Island if you would look at a map of Jumtar. He fell in love with the location so much that he decided to move there permanently. A few years on, and he isnt the only one to think so...have a look:

The most famous landmark found in Haven, as you might notice from the picture above, is its beach, adequately dubbed Haven Beach. The incredible coastline that Haven is gifted with has become the money maker for the town. In the weekends, residents of the larger two towns of Trabzina and Brenelle make their way to this town of just over 2,000 to enjoy Haven Beach. This looks like the making of a tourist paradise if marketed right, and one place that surely the big businessmen of Brenelle ought to think about.

Andestranne Castle has been getting some neigbors as of late, the most spectacular of which is the Bradfield Estate to the north of it. While this exclusive stretch of property is only affordable to the super-rich, there has been talks of allowing others to move in, including businesses. The President, however, is looking to closely monitor, and accept or reject, an applicants who might want to make a move to Andestranne. He looks upon the area as exclusive property and doesn't want it to freefall into a development frenzy. Here are a couple of pictures, the first one being the Bradfield Estate, the second a picture of the estates to the west of the castle.
