After about 3 weeks away visiting my wife's family in Nova Scotia...I'm back in TO!

I'm hoping to get back to working on the city soon.

Some of you are commenting on the realism. I'm not familar with every square inch of the city and plopping everything would be very difficult and time consuming. I have taken some artistic lisence. But I'm trying to stay as accurate as possible with the road and transit layout.

I live in Toronto and Im very impressed with this model.

I noticed the recent addition of high park. I can pinpoint the exact spot that my friends and I go every weekend to drink beer in that park at night. A few tips for highway realism: You might want to de-elavate the gardiner once it passes the ex and the same to the DVP, but it doesn't really matter.

I live in Bloor west village so you should have my neighborhood done soon! What area of the city do you live in?

I commute in by GO Train everyday from Milton...I'm a Ph.D. student at U of T, working out of the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum for the non-Canadians)

Well, you're almost correct on Toronto being the centre of the universe.  Rugby, North Dakota is the geographic centre of North America, and North America is the centre of Earth, and Earth is the centre of the solar system, and our solar system is the centre of the universe.  At least it is to most SUV drivers..

 

And Toronto is only about 750 east of Rugby, ND.  Can't get much closer.

Hey davez. I think you're doing a great job of recreating Toronto. I dont live there but ive been there lots, and it is truely a world class city. Id live there in a heartbeat if i could. Hopefully i can go to UofT. Anyways, keep up the good work, looks awesome.

Toronto is not the centre of the universe, New York is not the Center of the universe, and it is bcause of Toronto that our city never gets any help from the government!

But, New York is older, more historic, and famous than those cities so it has more desirability, which is why it has so many skyscrapers. New York was here ever since the beginning of America!

Dunno why the government says Sydney is overpopulated.
Anyway, I like that area around the CN Tower, Looks pretty good, maybe except for the golf course. I don't live or travel to North America but I would say a golf course doesn't really fit smack bang in the middle of Toronto.

A lot or most of my family live there and they say its fine. Mind you, they live in the northern suburbs.
