Just a question, how much of the next version of NAM is done. This isn't a "speed up," or "when the hell is this going to be released" post. I just want to know, percent wise, how much is done. And by "done" I mean ready to go into beta.

Oooooo....curved roads. Yummy. The next NAM might just convince me I should play SimCity 4 again!

Either that or the new Mac Packs.

LITP: I think that's an extra-curved railroad. I see some things here that definitely interest me.

I'm definitely wondering if The Great Chozo's stacks ( remember those? ) got finished. If my memory serves me correctly, there was an elevated-elevated and ground-ground version, as well as diagonals.

Glenni:  Looks good to me, boss.  Certainly a realistic addition to SC4's transit options.

Oh. 15.gif Well then, soon we might see curved roads, curved GLR, and quite possibly, the fabled single track railroad. 2.gif

Well, as usual, I can only stress that it's best if it comes by surprise, isn't it? 2.gif

HI

I love the NAM thingy's!!!

But I have a quick question: Are there or will there ( ever) be GLR bridges?? not only over water but also over sunken roads/highways??

Maybe this question is asked for many many times but....I realy don't like to read 119 pages :s

Thank you 4.gif

*edit*  by bridges i mean flat bridges 4.gif if you know what i mean...

@ livinginthepast : Yes I've used and abused them 4.gif

But they don't make bridges...

I have a very big and bussy tram/GLR network and a huge canal system and all of my highways are sunken ( thanks to the hole/digger lot!!) I don't have high buildings ( you can check in my cj)

and if I use the elivated pieces they tower above my houses and that is not what I want!! All of my GLR tracks are ground leveled and just recently I had to cross a sunken road....but there was no nice flat brige...to cross 15.gif so I had too take another way!

The GLR on-slope puzzle pieces are supposed to be part of the next NAM, but no one really knows when that's coming out. Buddybud is making a lot that will let you cross regular EL lines across sunken highways (near the bottom of this page) so you could do a transition to regular EL before and after crossing the highway. You could also do a subway transition (Two on the STEX here and here). This might be less realistic, but it gets the job done.

Please don't tease me bwatterud! My head might explode. I haven't read about the imminent NAM release anywhere else. Eager anticipation of the GLR on slope puzzle piece...

The supposedly new NAM is posted on Skyscraperpage. I'm not sure if it's actually a new edition.

@alexr15: Technically, there's just a link to the right page. I could not verify, the download is in exe, but the new link is indeed on Skyscraperpage.
