Great job, especially with that river transition!  Also great job with arranging those high-tech buildings so the area still looks rural.

I think it's called Aspen Village villa's, I really like them, can't get them to grow in my neighborhood's though. The suburbs south of Downtown looks a little crowded, but in overall, I think you have a lovely Cj going on here...

oceanmariner- Thanks, I wanted to use those buildings to make it look like they housed the turbines.

s_olah- Yep, their a pain to grow but the look good when you're done. As for the suburbs, I was trying to get them kind of crowded and 'inner city.'

    Jacqulina- Thanks as always!

smarty218, bbfan02, pagenotfound, vituuu, RJN, supermonkey- Thanks for the comments!

NMUSpidey- Thanks! I loosely (very) modeled it from how Grand Coulee dam and Electric city are laid out.

Wow, Newman looks really nice. It's like a commuter suburb where average families can afford fairly large houses (with upper storeys!) because of the affordable land. You've really got a good feel going.

Indeed, amazing work! The pics are simply wonderful. You seem to have put a lot of effort on this, so keep up the great job!

Although I have a question: as an old, old, old...player, I am attempting to return once more to the game and I was wondering about the highway pieces. Are they provided with NAM or are there any uploads on the STEX. Moreover, I can't seem to locate an open asphalt texture for highways.

Some help would be much appreciated.

Ah, another fantastic update. Those apartments in the last picture, do they have reduced rates for the ones up against the highway? Having lived across the street from one, you can hear traffic clear as a bell from those things...

The high school complex looks great, and those suburbs are very artfully done. Great job!

    -UPDATE-

I started looking at some of my suburbs are decided the inner city ones looked a little weird. I downloaded the urban housing mod and redid them. I like the feeling of these much better than the old ones.

Hopefully I'll start getting region views posted by tomorrow. I just need to clean up a few rough edges of the city.

Nice suburban areas and golf course. Damn, I love the dam... maybe the best way yet I've seen to transition from plopable water to actual water.

Very nice small town feel you have created. I especially like your malls and the surrounding suburbs. It makes the whole region look very realistic.
