Spectacular bat. Everything about it is topnotch, though i don't care for the flora too much; at far out zooms the plants seem to be too paterned/ repetative

Here's a another BAT from my hometown, it's the only remaining butcher left in my town...

    Slakter_Haaland_back.jpg

The building itself is actually just 7 years old, the old one burnt down in 1998. So a new one was built. Luckily he kept it tradiational and built it very similar to the old building, just one floor higher.

A pic from the new building nearly done on the outside in 1998.

    the store itself:

    *Wipes dust off the thread*

Hmm, long time since i've updated here...

Well anyway, what i'm basically doing now is diagonals.

But there's one thing, I'm going to Copenhagen, Denmark in a few hours. Going to have to drive to the airport at arround 16:00 (4pm) my time( GMT +1)  And I'll only bring my laptop, which neither has SC4, BAT or 3dsmax installed. 15.gif

Anyway, i got one last update until i get back again around 3. January

There's still some work to do on textures, i'm not going to to this one as grimy and bad looking as the others, as it supposed to fit in normal $$ w2w neighbourhoods.

    The two previous BATs:

No doubt my favorite part of your models is the great looking commerical spaces in the buildings. Those little shops (Narvesen and Brio) look very realistic!

lol, the advertisments on the building are awesome.

    haha, gta-style humor. love it!

I hope they get a good look in-game.

great bat, btw, your eye for detailing buildings amazes me over and over again.

I wonder how you get all the awesome textures together

Took a small break from all the diagonals, and decided to make some automata:

    buses-closeup.jpg

    buses-3.jpg

    From Top to bottom:

Volvo B10R Arna, this is a Norwegian built body from Arna Verksted, in Arna outside Bergen, these used to be in service in Oslo until some years into this decade. All of them are now either scrapped or in service in Russia.

Man NL 233, just a 3x double doored Oslo sporveier paint scheme bus.

Setra S9- An old german bus, it's not quite like the real life counterparts, there are some parts i could not do, and that's the roof amongst many things.setras9.jpg

Scania (not too sure on the model) With a livery of the norwegian coach line compnay- Nor-Way Bussekspress.

And finnaly, the maxis bus, whic hi just use for correct scaling and comparing it to the size of my models.
