My plugin folder is just a couple hundred megs, never more than a half-gig.

I created a folder called "plugin warehouse" (which is a couple of gig) where I keep all downloaded plugins and their related files (jpg, html, txt, etc.) Within that I have Urban/Ag, Suburban, Urban, and Military sets, in addition to a Universal set that has MegaPacks and other items I'll need regardless of city type. Within each of those I have subfolders for things like Parks, Civil buildings, Transit networks, etc. Then, before I launch SC4, I use a directory comparison utility to move the needed sets into (and out of) the plugins folder. It's more work than some people might be willing to do, but it suits me.

I got a small Plugins folder: 1,09 GB (1.172.240.356 bytes) 2328 files 318 folders.... This is 'half-cleaned' as I'm still selecting the strictly necessary stuff to put there. I've been building it up since 2004 and have now done 2complete reinstall of every plugin so as to sort out the missing dependencies and select the lots I wanted to delete...

3.35 GB - a lot of files - and more than 1,500 folders 15.gif

It takes like 5 minutes to load the game and another 5 to load a medium city,

I'm deleting plugins I don't use and also all non-functional LM lots.

I've been playing SC4 for about 4 years and still haven't found the right way to organize my plugin folder. 4.gif

Right now: It's a nightmare !!!!

125 MB, sounds quite small compared to others, but hey, I don't want to risk having too much to the point where my game crashes constantly.

I'm the 'A' to the 'r', to the c-h-e-a-n,
and even though my name means 'old' I'm really quite pimp,
I'm Archilicious.

1.13 gigs uncompressed (not too big) 2.337 files, 297 folders. My dependency folder alone is a good half of that 4.gif

EDIT: forgot about the 230 mb I've got in my "unused stuff" folder

Returning soon[ish] from a long time away...

2.16 gigs. By the way. I did tell the size of my plugin folder. The Thread isn't titled, "What is the exact size of your plugin folder?" It's just "How big is your plugin folder?". I'm Trying too be snooty or anything, I'm just stating a point.

After cleaning out my folder with the BSC Cleanitol, my Plugin Folder is currently at 446 Mb. It is quite small but I'm still downloading content from the STEX, the LEX, and the PLEX.
