Mastof: Maxis-made plazas, Maxis-made roads, Maxis-made cars, Maxis-made streets, an irrelevant pencil tower, U.D.I. icons, Maxis-made buildings... I need vacations :boggle:

steelersfanforlife: Yeap, I need vacations immediately! >.<

Now it's time to berate my picture. No Maxis buildings and totally realistic (yeah, right  )

Terring: What is this? SimMars? This is total junk, especially the nice repetition of maxis, and the ugly neon green trees to the side.

@Elemented9: All those lovely buildings, and then.... standard Maxis steets?!? How about some cobblestone or brick to add to the scene. Also, the one road leading southwest out of town dead-ends into the forest. -3/10

@ IL: Sailboats on a dock built right over a reef. It's like they are begging to be sunk. And is that a Maxis plaza in the centre of town? Tsk, tsk. -4/10.

Here's the latest town I've worked on:

No shadows? :dead:

Welcome to the most epic city ever made. It's so epic that even it's Sims called "Epics". Did I said that this city is epic?

Hmmm, this should be fun.

Starting from the top of this page . .

Terring: 7 story tall trees lay amongst the towers shipped in from the Maxis pre-built skyscraper facility in Timbuktu. Along with that the El-rail. Which proves the city is short on money and is ordering pre-built buildings from mars.

elemented9: Why is there a forest of florescent trees. Look at your own image before you talk bad on others. I hope that (unrealistic) mountain on the left is actually a volcano which erupts and destroys that entire disgraceful village.

IL. : What are those boats made out of 1/2 inch plywood? No wonder they sunk in that ocean colored with a crayola pastel.

logintime: Who thinks it's a good idea to start a city in the midsts of a glacier carved lake in antarctica? That whole place is going to just slide into the sea on a giant slab of ice and when it does I will stand there laughing.

terring [2]: Beautiful picture. I haven't seen such an exquisitely built city for some time now.

Xyloxadoria: lolwut :|

TowerDude: There is literally no suitable reaction or statements which describe how horrible this picture is. I hope your city dies in a fire.

nathanthemayor: Who's idea was it to not put any fences around that ride? Or even barriers around the highway and near the street. I can not begin to point out all the things that are dangerous in this picture.

terring: Wouldn't it be cheaper to build on flat land than on the side of a mountain? Who thought that was a bright idea.

kccl35: What kind of place to live is that. A square island in the middle of deep treacherous waters?!

MamaLuigi945: Yet another city where the architects got bored.

Now, to berate mine.

Do your worst.

I have to scroll to look at it and you have trees growing on something too steep and where it isn't steep and would be perfect for trees there are no trees. Its not even realistic.

Your city has minimal variety and where are all the jobs? Maybe that will explain why everybody is poorer than stereotypical rednecks!

Ooooh...haven't done this in a while! Right, ALL 16 PICTURES on this page will be destroyed, starting...now!

Terring: I absolutely adore the repetition! Nine instances of the same ugly building in one picture should be the style of city that every SC4 builder shoots to attain! You've hit gold with this one...fool's gold, that is. And if that weren't enough, you threw the Robot Building in the middle of all the Art-Deco and *shudder* Brutalist architecture. A very worthy entry into this Hall of Shame  .

-7.2/-10 - The best thing that could happen to your city is if that Robot building came alive and destroyed it all a-la Transformers.

Elemented9: A road that leads to nowhere. How romantic an image that is, and how defiled it is by its inclusion in your picture. Love the "Lombard St." imitation that farm road makes; interesting, because it looks like there are diagonal roads in your picture, and yet you don't employ them on the one street that could probably benefit from them. You also don't employ longer road curves. I suggest you do.

-6.5/-10 - Take a drive down the short end of that road. Don't stop when the pavement runs out; the trees might do you some good :thumb: .

IL.: You know, I would almost say that the town is picturesque; it's a good thing that gigantic bridge over nothing changes my mind. Also, do your tennis courts have a love affair with retaining walls? One's on the (waaaay) low-side of one, and the other brings one up (on a beach, no less!). And I'm certain that the windmills with no power lines coming from them are absolutely useful :whatevs: .

-6.8/-10 - I can only hope that the computer that holds this city's files were on one of the boats in your first picture.

Logintime: Trees? We don't need no stinkin' trees! We'll just build our tiny town on a fjord surrounded by snow-laden mountains that seems to serve no purpose other than simply having a tiny town on a fjord surrounded by snow-laden mountains. And no trees. And no roads leading to or from the town, either...but we have a bridge! :???:

-7.5/-10 - Save the world; PLANT A @#!* TREE :rage:!

Terring (again): Oh, dear goodness :boggle:. The Gherkin is one of the most beautiful and loved buildings in London, and here it is, an eyesore in your city worse than Montparnasse. And you didn't even bother giving it water! Oh, and there's the train-tracks to nowhere, the hospital not connected to any roads, and the same single tree planted 200 times. Grid, pause border, mayor menu, zots...oh, dear goodness.

-10/-10 - It's amazing, really, that in a picture with only 13 structures, you still managed to fit in multiple instances of repetition. Bravo....:uhm:

Towerdude: Awesome! One of my favorite cities on the planet reduced to...this. Make those edges any softer and I won't be able to tell whether this is SimCity or you playing with your frogurt. I love how none of those towers are casting shadows on that pure white parking garage, and compared to everything else, the black glass textures on that white building leave much to be desired (realism, for starters).

-5.3/-10 - This picture almost single-handedly makes me not want to visit Hong Kong, for fear that it turns out to be an accurate representation :dead:.

Nathanthemayor: If this picture is anything to go by, your username is a definite misnomer. I'm certain those people in the neighborhood towards the bottom of the picture definitely appreciate their mayor for building a busy six-lane highway directly across the street from them, and then a huge amusement park directly beyond that, with not a single highway wall anywhere in between. Also love the solid commercial sidewalks along those streets (as opposed to, you know, grass sidewalks that one might usually find in a normal city ;) ).

-7.8/-10 - If I road that coaster to its highest point and saw the surrounding area, I'd throw myself off of it, and into oncoming traffic. And then roll right onto someone's doorstep, because, you know, I could do that.

Terring (a third time): You again? Right...Epicland!?...funny. Pause border still there, mayor menu still there, and I'm certain if I zoomed in, I'd probably see the grid, too. Skyscrapers rise up in the middle of residential areas with retaining walls that almost double their height, and that Spaceship has to have the world's best alien pilot in order to maneuver in between the world's largest eyesores.

-8.2/-10 - You must be a masochist just like me. Those space aliens must be, as well, if they're visiting one of your cities.

Kccl35: No. No it isn't. There's a bridge and a huge marina that takes up one entire side...for what? Ten houses, a church and a parking lot that takes up a fifth of the island? That's what people are going to see? I think I'd have more fun watching the aliens park in between those uber-tall towers in Terring's picture above you.

-7.3/-10 - So much fanfare for so little substance...both your post and the island in your picture >.< .

MamaLuigi945: Geez, another bouncing rainbow sheep :whatevs: ? Oh, well...it's much better than looking at that abomination of a picture. Repetition, no color, repetition, mayor menu, repetition, trash in the streets, repetition, ugly uniformed blocks, repetition, all Maxis, repetition, no variety whatsoever...and rampant repetition.

-9.8/-10 - I see you have the NAM, so you've discovered the STEX; ever think of using it again?

_marsh_: It's a ditch. I'm looking at a picture of a ditch. Dear goodness, did you actually put work into this!? Random house is random; random cows are...cows? Those are cows in the middle of that forest all by their lonesome? And quite a few leafless trees surrounded by non-leafless non-evergreen ones. Must be dutch-elm disease...or maybe they wanted to die before being featured in this mosaic.

-4.9/-10 - Let me let you in on a little secret: much like human excrement, a beautified ditch is still just a ditch (and I use the term "beautified" very loosely).

(On a serious note, _marsh_, what terrain and rock textures do you use? Also, to answer the question in your status: yes. Yes it is :D ...)

steelersfanforlife: No. Just...no. Dear goodness, no. No no no no no no no. N-O, NO. Noooooooo- is that an airport in the middle of all that!? :boggle:

-16.8/-10 - ...no. :noway:

All right! All done...and I wouldn't do that to all of you without a shot at revenge, so...DO YOUR WORST  :

Well well well a unedited photo that appears too bright?

+5/10

Another one to berate, which I also consider one of the best in my CJ(Note:Don't worry that the bridge looks low. This is not a major shipping-way)

Well, for one thing, it looks like someone spilled 1.5 billion gallons of blue paint into the water, or better yet, the BP oil spill, except with blue paint. There are no waves or anything on the water, so apparently, there is no Moon on whatever planet this is. Not even any ripples. :noway: Rainy commute? I see no rain. I only see slightly smudged blue paint water.

I agree with Mamaluigi it looks like you have poured paint into the water, its blurry and its still and the bridge looks impossibly low.
