a player names a place in the world, the next player names a place in the world that starts with the same letter as the last place.

rules

1) archaic or obsolete names are not allowed eg Yugoslavia, Constantinople

2) continent names disallowed

You can't expect people not to repeat things, since after the thread gets long enough it won't be reasonable to try and keep track of what has and hasn't been used. It's the opposite of what you said that's the "duh" here.

Not only that, but this type of thing is called "change the word", and thus the title should probably reflect that.

Long ago we had a game like this, except it only used cities, and was A-Z style, not change the word style.

So go ahead with your thing, but bear in mind that you're violating a couple precedents here.

    What the hell are you doing?

    Your last post makes it sound like you think this is A-Z style (it's not, it's change the word style), but your post before that makes no sense even by that logic. Y does not follow N, nor does "Nikel" end with it. What's even more confounding is that you got the one before that right.

    On top of that, you broke the two post rule.
