So Shin-Tokyo is over, well its not over, its still there, on my harddrive, actually now on my external, not really playing with it, cause it got bored of it, felt like ive built everything I could build, so I decided I would recreate Tokyo for real this time, not a half assed version where everything I built was built so that everything would go the way I wanted it to go. This time I would build something that wasnt going to be very easy to manage. Real Tokyo.

Check Out PAGE TWO for my new Project, Tokyo. I will continue to post on Shin-Tokyo though.

I will tell you tomorrow okay!its acully quite easy!

Never mind i'll tell you right now.Okay so first when your in your city click on the opinsoin toolbar at the bottom and then choose to take a pic, make sure the game is not paused. Now close simcity 4.you will need a imageshack acont then you need to click on upload images.then left click on the image. After that click on image properties and copy the link of the pic.click on reply on the forums, at the top beside the smilies their will be a pic of a mountian so click on that then paste the link to the pic in the spot for it.So then in image properties make the pic 800x600.then click okay .The pic willbe were your typing to then you would click enter once so you skiped a line then you keep on doing the same thing!

sorry if thats hard to understand but im very tired  could someone correct me if i'm wrong

    dude i figured it out

    Shinkyou-1184058019.png

so uh ya if u know what Tokyo-bay looks like that would be where Chiba would be, and Ive loosely based the bay off of Tange Kenzo's plan for Tokyo bay in 1960, basically building islands at random in the middle of the bay, and then with the geometric artificial islands all along the bay front.

    Shinkyou-1184058009.png

So here is some parts of the city, this would be the area off to the left of the bay, which is emty in the region shot but is now pretty much full

I know the region says Shinkyou, so thats been changed now but watever. The star to the right, that I must say is a work of art, but I must also add that such a castle doesnt exist in the Tokyo bay area

Clean up complete - remember, please just one post at a time - MM

man, that was like, a quintuple post or something. If you want to add something to a post that has already been made, click the Edit button down the bottom right corner of the text box. It's considered polite conduct to edit your post rather than post 2 or 3 or 7 times in a row.

would a moderator mind condensing the posts into the first post so the thread isn't made of excesive posts?

on the note of the images, you might want the images in a normal resolution(they look rather smushed)

on the cities, I think they look somewhat cool, kinda like a scifi city...though you overdid the rails a wee bit 2.gif

He may have overdone the rails a tad but if you have ever been to Tokyo, there is literally a train station every two to three minutes. Couple the fact that there are a ton of stations with the fact that there are five or six loop lines that run through Tokyo and you end up with a ton of rails. What he should have done was make 2/3s of the subways because that is what most of the Tokyo ones are with the exception of the Yamanote (green) Line. In his one shot that shows the rails going toward Tokyo Disney and Chiba, he actually hasn't simulated all of the rail lines possible.

you really should learn to use the edit button and read the stickies at the top of this forum BEFORE posting a CJ! Sorry if that sounded harsh its just no one seems to read the stickies.

its looks ok, i'll be waiting for an update,

    Richard

MANY MANY CJ's start out like that friend....

It's a nice introduction to spark interest. keep going tepodon...

The pics of your CJ look simply outstanding.....what great detail you have put into it.....definitely will be interested and comment frequently on this.....Great Stuff friend. 4.gif

Also, if you end up posting 2 times in a row.....(by accident hopefully) you can always DELETE that post. And you can double post as long as it's not within the last 24 hours from the previous one. 4.gif

Also...if you get a page flip.....do not post that is a page flip.......thats just spamming.

Amazing start. I love the very high density of the city! Reminds me of Courescant. (spelling, I know)
