Wow, that was some earthquake! Good luck rebuilding...

That's a shame about the sakura. 15.gif I was afraid it was gone, since nobody took me to see it. Somebody would definitely have taken me to see it. How was the rest of the town? Did you stay at the Irago View Hotel? That one is my favorite. 9.gif

Nah, but I do remember some of it. We actually stayed at a friend's house. Why do you think they would get rid of such a beautiful tree? Lol...

Schulmanator: I know! But since Coulla is in an area that is prone to earthquakes, I thought "why not?" lol... Thanks!

    Andronicus22: Thanks for stopping by!

anarchy0029: Thanks! Good job with Hypertrophy too. I love it.

KingTitan: Thanks! New 3126 EARTH banner? I love that CJ.

lindsay-akihita-aomori: Thanks! Click here for a whole list of asian shops to download. And click here for the blossoms!

    helsinkisvit: Thanks! I know... lol!

kondrokavn: Hmmm... Trixies are pretty hard to get, thanks anyway though!

Shadow_prophet: Thanks! The airport pack can come in handy for huge stations.

NMUSpidey: Well... if you click here, you can get some cool train stations, but for those blue and white walkways, I used pieces that come with the airport pack. Glad you like my CJ!

osaka101: Thanks! How can I get an earthquake? All you have to do is click on the disasters menu...

zelgadis: Rebuilding? Ya, pretty hard... Thanks!

kobenhavn: Thanks! Not all asian countries are poor. No double posts though!

Schulmanator: Thanks! I can't even say how great Schulmania is doing. Keep it up!

bbfan02: I just found that picture on the internet. No idea why she doesn't notice the plane, lol. Thanks!

helsinkisvit: Thanks! I got the idea from COFR and other CJ's.

lindsay-akihita-aomori: Thanks! Try not to double-post. And you're welcome!

vivydu29: Thanks. Glad you like it!

zelgadis: Lol, I know. As I said to bbfan02, no idea why she doesn't notice the plane, lol!...

tepodon: Thanks! I use the airport pack. You can find it on the STEX!

Okay, thanks for commenting everyone. Please enjoy Update 8!

    UpdateSymbol8.jpg

Here we go! It's time for Update 8! I didn't really show you guys as much of the Kamuri Mountains as I promised a couple updates ago, so I thought that it would be cool to show more of it in this update. Please enjoy!

    Kamuri Mountains Revisited

Located as far south of Xi Lang as it is north of Nawako, the Kamuri Mountains make up a lot of the Honabei Mountain Range which takes up most of the main island. They are home to Mt. Kamuri, the tallest mountain in Coulla, which is over 4 thousand feet high. Covered in a lush forest of cottonwood and some palms, the mountains stretch so high that they are home to snow! Here they are:

    KamuriMountains-1201490787.png

A part of the Kamuri Mountains. To the right, you can see Mt. Yorokimano, and to the left Ryoano lake.

The Sazuko were specially-trained martial artists who did the dirty work for the highest bidder. Comparable to the Shinobi (or Ninja) of Japan, they built lookout towers to watch for their enemies.

    MtYorokimano-Jan22001201471736.png

5-story Shigodan Temple was home to the Yorokimano clan. You can see the 500-year-old palms that surround it.

A very well done natural area. You put some good work into making it look both realistic and eye-pleasing. Great update!

the cherry trees are awesome, great work!

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

Wow, everything looks great. I really do enjoy this cj. That looks like a very nice peaceful place to live. At least until the rainy season comes and everyone is drowning in air so thick with humidity you could almost drink it and displaced Westerners in Japan loose 20 pounds of sweat because it's just the most horrible, never-ending, constantly hot and humid weather in the world...

Sorry about that. I was flashbacking to last summer in Osaka9.gif. Keep up the good work!

Oh, you've never been to the Ohio River Valley.  The summer before I moved to Canada, it was over 100 degrees (38C) with 90% humidity.  And that temp was only slightly above normal.  Japan was quite comfortable for me when I lived there.  4.gif

Anyway, that's a very lovely countryside you have going on there.  You build well on the mountains.  9.gif

bbfan02: Okay... 42.gif Thanks for stopping by anyway.

Schulmanator: Thank you! I'm happy you find it eye-pleasing!

manticorefan: Thanks! Seems that everyone loves the cherry blossoms, lol!

osaka101: Thanks a lot! It's always nice to see people returning to see my new updates.

delly: Glad you like it! Umm.. what's a figgy?...

skyliner22: It really is close. Neat! So glad you enjoy my CJ, and you are doing an excellent job too!

NMUSpidey: Thanks! No, I can't disagree with you, Japan is WAY to humid, especially Osaka!

vivydu29: So glad you like my CJ. Thank you for stopping by!

gabry85: I pay close attention to detail, and I work very hard to please you guys, lol. Thanks!

Zelgadis: Thank you! But mountains are especially hard to build on, lol.

    Thanks for commenting, everyone!

    update9-1.jpg

Hello everyone! Here's Update 9! Today we will look at a few villages spread along the tropical coast of the smallest main island of Hitotsu. Here it is.

    Pankun Prefecture Coast

Hitotsu, the smallest of the five main islands, is home to the prefecture of Pankun, which takes up most of the western area of Hitotsu. Pankun is home to several small tropical asian villages spread out along the west coast. They are mostly fishing villages, and are home to some of the oldest houses in Coulla. Let's take a look:

    Konojinbei-1202077402.png

The tropical coast is home to a vast forest covering snow-capped mountains.

    Muhumu-Feb14001202079591.png

The town of Muhumu is home to about 4000 people.

    Muhumu-Feb20001202079652.png

The small fishing port of Muhumu in front of the traditional Coullan homes.

    Muhumu-Feb14001202079331.png

A few kilometers south of Muhumu is the Oasis Hotel. Instead of hotel rooms, guests rent the small bungalows to the right of the picture.

    Runham-Jan22001201905259.png

About 10 kilometers south of the Oasis Hotel is Runham, home to about 2000 people.

    Runham-Jan22001201905192.png

A submarine has pulled up near the beach. I wonder why...

    Pusan-Jan21001201907143.png

If you're interested in whale-watching, Pankun's tropical coast is the place to be.

Because of the several villages in Pankun Prefecture, a small international airport was built for the people. It is home to mostly 737's and CRJ's. Of course, the demand for an airport also came from the tourists who want to stay here in Pankun.
