    Yeah, i'm going to try and find something similar and just Modify it in 3Ds/Gmax... if I can find a good model, guess I'll be making a Smerch (or Uragan) and a SCUD launcher.

    I think Yoman is making Katyusha Launcher at some point wich will be awesome 9.gif

    Been busy making that Smerch, Im going to be glueing a couple of vehicles together for this one (true Soviet style)... obviously, this isn't the finished thing (some more modelling needed) -

    Rocket tubes need to be lengthened, along with the chassis, and a new cab need to be attached to incorporate 2 more wheels.

    Giving the Vehicles a rest at the moment (don't really need them right now), beens busy reworking my old Library into a neo-Stalinist Hotel... as illustrated here-

    Forgive the roof textures... they magically dissapeared during the render 21.gif

    Its not 100% right now... its barely 80% really... got to add some small decorative statuettes and touches, some supports behind the sign, contemplate what to do with that gaping mass of space on the roof and obviously, finish the texturing and nightlighting...

    Its not much to be honest, hopefull i'll get it finished and exported by tomorrow 31.gif

    I really like that original Bm-30 you based on the URAL, if you place the rocket tubes in the fashion of a Bm-21 Grad (basically a box) then it will be completely accurate. The completed Bm-30 looks pretty good, not sure about the front though. And will want to retexture it army green 2.gif

    You got some really great stuff going here 3.gif Loving the whole Neo Stalinism Architecture(so much that im thinking of making a few for my CJ, whenever i get around to it)

    //Edit, forgot to note the RA & RA2 bats: TOTALY AWSOME!!! The Advanced Powerplant just brings me back to the age of 8 sitting up late blasting medium tanks and cruisers with my MiG's 9.gif

    Thanks Xiziz, I'm definitely going to be continuing the Neo-Stalinist architechture... its pretty detail-intensive but it give awesomely grim results. I finished off the Hotel a few days ago, I night lighted it (half heartedly i'll add) but it looks better during the day... besides, I don't have the update thing installed to get nightlights to show on bats ingame... lol.

    I would post a picture... but it may ruin my next CJ update... then again I could just blur-out the surrounding in Photoshop... meh, guess i'll figure it out. The Hotel isn't final though, I may release it on the STEX if theres enough demand, but that means nightlighting it proper (fun fun fun) and giving it a nice Ploppable CS$$ finish in Reader...

    I'm going to start doing some Industrial stuff too, I've been struggling to make realistic looking 'Russian' Industrial area's lately and it really strikes a nerve when I run out of inspiration, same goes for Smoke Stacks... we desperately need some 'dirtier' looking ones than the packs done previously by 'Take me There' and 'Faka'... I use those stacks all the time but I find the cleanliness unrealistic.

    Yeah, thats not a bad Idea... it was slowing my PC down to a crawl though (still not got the hang of low Poly modeling), I quit while trying to do some fancy nightlights for the thing... too much hassle.

    But... theres always time for revisions I guess.

    Mean while, the Commissars have ordered construction of a new Tower,  possibly taller that the Hotel... for the Sakhaliyan Broadcasting Network, at the moment, it looks like another Capitalist excuse to build large things for fun, but not to worry, being the propaganda machine this will be, I'll make sure its communistified to Max 3.gif

    Obviously, some more work to go... widen those slats in the main support (or better yet, just find a good texture to simulate it), add a front facade to the bottom building, add some radars and satellite dishes and a load more stuff...

    Thanks guys. After fixing up my 3DSMax (again) so I can acctually render from it and re-making the base, its starting to take some kind of form... like an OTT brutalist nuclear bunker...

    More work to be done on detailing the Antenna and i'll be adding some Sattelite Dishes to both wings of the building. Also some little touches too, maybe a few Commie banners draped down the main column and obviously, some roof junk.
