    when you drag monorail over the water there will be a popup you need to select the HSR bridge, it is possible that you didn't select to install them in the installer.

    I have installed the new NAM and HSR. After having dragged a diagonal HSR line over a straight road and then placed the DIAGONAL HSR X STRAIGHT RAIL piece to cover the litle piece of Monorail a train crossin fails: from the right side track it goes to the left and crash. I run a french version of the game. so for now I use the HSR without those pieces. Can anyboby help.

    I had a thought regarding the HSR/GHSR-to-Rail transition some people had been asking about in the past. If I remember right, the hang-up has been because the HSR is technically monorail reskinned, and heavy rail trains can't travel on that network and vice-versa. But what if the HSR pieces were rewritten to overwrite RAIL instead of monorail? HSR is basically an upgraded version of rail anyways, so shouldn't they be made of the same network? If both rail and HSR are of the same network, then there shouldn't be any issue with transition and trains operating on both "networks".

    This would also mean that monorail could still be reskinned for Mag-Lev (much like HSR is now) should anyone make an attempt to design such a network, as Mag-Lev is not compatible with another network like HSR is. Could you imagine operating BOTH in a city at the same time?

    Warrior: I apologise if this means a lot of work for you, trying this idea if you do. I just thought it might work a little better visually.

    I had actually thought of using rail paths on monorail network (so you will still use monorail to overwrite, but HSR trains will run on rail paths) This will have some benefits, you should be able to have a different speed for HSR and monorail, possibly a different automata, and I would only have to change a few single numbers in each path file, rather than rewrite all the RULs and look up the rail IIDs, and also it MAY be possible to have HSR to Rail. But please note this is just theory and I haven't tested it.)

    I have the same problem and the strange thing was that it initially worked when I installed the HSRP NAM addon. I installed some other plugins (a train/GLR station, buildings) and installed the custom rail bridges and alas I cannot bridge without getting the monorail option anymore.

    Please help!!

    double edit: I have confirmed that the 'steel Viaduct' and 'BLaM Arched Viaduct' have to reside within the 'Network Addon Mod folder' (root) and not the 'Additional Bridges' folder in order for coexistence with the custom bridges.

    hey guys. great work on this project here. i've downloaded the hsrp and the updated station but i cannot seem to get the station to work. i have both connected with the HSRP rail that was built with the puzzle piece and then dragged with the monorail tool, but i get no passengers using the station. looked through the comments on the station download page and it seems to be a problem. just wanted to let you guys know. thanks again and great progress so far

    Do you have any other forms of mass transit connected to it? I found, with the old one anyways, that sims wouldn't use the HSR station unless there was another form of mass transit connected to it (buses don't count). Trains won't stop at it otherwise for some reason. I found the easiest way around this is to tie the el-train connection into a subway network immediately after departing from the HSR station.

    I'm having the same problem: loads of sims going into the hub, but none going any where.

    Also, oddly, all my other forms of vehicles, such as cars and lorries have disappeared. This could be NAM or HSRP... anybody else found this?

    I too have had the same problem with the Hub. I had rail, elevated rail and HSR running through it and yet nothing happens even though there is incredible traffic on my rail and elevated rail/subway. When I removed the Hub and put a rail and elevated rail station in the same spot they both worked fine.

    I made the point of uninstalling and reinstalling the game with the latest NAM and updates and the problem still exists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I thought those sims entering the station (about 100 sims) were the staffs...

    They enter the station but not going elsewhere...

    You are right, Other stations works well in the same place.

    Any updates to this issue of sims not using the stations? I've encountered it too but i guess we havent figured out what causes this to happen yet. Anybody willing to post a screenshot showing their HSRP station being queried with the transport tool to show us (*****s) that it works?

    The HSR hub is working just fine for me..

    Im not aware of any issues or problems with it..

    See the attached pic showing the pathing..

    here are the stats on passenger usuage for this hub..

    Pedestrian     62

    car                  133

    bus               1950

    train              5023

    EL- train            13

    Monorail      2035...

    Doesn't work for me as well, though the cogeo stations work fine.

    Because it was for original version of HSRP which replaces Monorail network entirely(GLRxHSRP patch was created by me btw). If you used my patch with Puzzle-Drag HSRP, you can get HSR over GLR piece. But as it replaces existing piece, then you'd lose monorail over GLR piece.

    Future version of Puzzle-Drag HSR would include GLR related pieces.

    Yes, I understood, but I don't use the monorail anyway. I'm using elevated highways, and to pass an elevated highway with monorail you get an ugly large 8 tiles long onramp. Accordingly, the monorail is no option for me, that is why I'd choosen the HSR. In this case it would have been more usefull for me, if I could have used the GLR x HSRP patch.

    But well, as the HSRP Interchange doesn't work with standard capacity, the whole project has come to an halt. I wanted to use it as my main station, to connect all sorts of public transportation.

    I could switch to the extended capacities that have been prepared for the HSR. But I'm very unhappy with those. The extended capacity simulators solve all my traffic problems. Everything is green in the congestion view, even with streets only, and I hate that. It is no option at all.

    I ran excessive tests with different simulators, and basically it raised my commute times from 40 to 120, though the congestion view is green. That is why i returned to the standard simulators again. I see no gain at all.

    Unfortunately I got hit by some RL, and I wanted to take a break from HSRP anyway (remember I'm doing this voluntarily/for fun so I'm not getting paid) Patches for the stations are ready just people who know how to make them available to upload are also having RL.

    Generally after a NAM release things tend to slow down, after the incredible amount of work some people put into the releases.

    And you can use the Double height monorail pieces to cross over el-highways if you don't like the draggable one.

    In the next version I am hoping to get the HSR to have a different speed (and hopefully capacity) from monorail.

    Thanx for your answer. I respect that your RL is more important than a project for 5 years old SC4. I didn't want to harass you. It is just that I wanted to describe my problems and to show, that there is still a general interest in the HSRP. Good Luck!

    Hey... i have two questions:

    1.- What's RL?

    2.- There´s a diference between the speed of the monorail and HSRP or they are the same?

    The proyect is great... hope we can see a new update soon!
