Good update, but could you please make the text in the video larger? I had trouble reading the text, it was too small.

Hahayoudied - Yes. That will be corrected in update 7. I noticed it too but the original copy didnt have that problem. The distortion was added by youtube. You can access the Original Video via the FileShare center...

    _________

Vote - BlueHope will release 5 New Regions when BlueHope II is launched.

    We have three options however...

A.) Release all 5 Regions seperated as individual regions

B.) All 5 Regions should represent the Island as one MEGA Region...

C.) Create the 5 Regions as different regions on the island and the 6th Region as the MEGA Region with Newark included on it. - The 6th Region to include 60% of the land that makes Newark while the rest is scattered throughout the 5 regions...

    Give me your oppinions!

I go with option b. I still have the old region, do I have to download the new one, and do I have to reregister for the new file server system?

phoenix7 - If option B is chosen, everyone will have to redownload the Region...

    un1 - Looks like we're getting a majority here...

    kj3400 - Ya a major majority...

    Another Vote...

When Newark finally becomes a state, it will gain priviledges to biuld interstates. Now there's some contraversy as to what form they should be represented in, I'd like to put up a vote to see how Newark Interstates should represent themselves...

Regardless of the option, Odd digits will proceed North/South while Evens will proceed East/West.

If you choose a Special Symbol, MAKE SURE YOU STATE WHICH SET you chose...

    Option A. ContinuedGrid.jpg

This states that the interstates will pick up from where I-99 left off. tripple digit interstates will be main stream insterates while quadro digit interstates will be spurs, loops, and bypasses from parent interstates.

    Option B.    NewarkLetter.jpg

A letter N is added to the digit. N1 would start on the west side of Newark and proceed North/South while N4 would be closer to the south side of Newark and proceed East/West.

    Option C.    SpecialSignColor.jpg

All Newark interstate signs and interstate trailblazer signs will be black with dark blue Shading...

    Option D.     SpecialSymbol.jpg

Interstates will recieve a special symbol with a special color but similar shape as the Interstates. Choose a set if you're interested.

    Option E.      SpecialSymbolSignColor.jpg

All interstates like before will recieve a special symbol in the same form as an interstate shield but a different color. Also the sign color for all Newark Interstates will be back with dark blue highlighting.

Let me know your vote. N4C...

Hey! It has been hard for me to participate with some of the changes (since I own a mac and not a pc). However, I have been paying attention for the most part. Sorry about the site being attacked (or whatever happened to it). Great to see you back with a new host.

As for the freeway signs, I am a fan of using the letter N in front of new numbers (so starting with N1, N2 etc).

Benedict - Understandble. Whats preventing the region from loading on MAC? Are the file extensions different? Are there plugins that only work on certain O.S.? We miss your railroading.

I like option D, set 4. The first set seems too complicated and I don't really like "N" in front of everything. And the other two look too dark; people might not be able to see the sign. All of them look good though. They're very innovative.

ecoba - Yea I pass under that overpass almost everyday. Lawrenceville Highway is the only U.S. Highway in Atlanta that only has ONE intersection with I-285...They did a nice job but if you really want to see an awsome sight, 316 and I-85... Wow... ...just... Wow...

Yes I went to Athens once BEFORE the resignage and got totally lost because the exit signs didnt even have numbers on them. I went about a year after the resignage and asside from the one single at-grade crossing, Loop 10 looks just like an Interstate. There were talking for awhile about bringing two Interstates through Athens, One of them is desperatey needed

GA 316 as a freeway and another Interstate that was going to completely replace U.S. 441 between Knoxville TN and Savannah GA. It was going to end up using Loop 10 through some of its portion, it would have REALLY helped Athens out had they biult it but I don't think they're going to 15.gif

OH!!!!!!! Sorry I think you misunderstood, I was talking about 29 up toward Athens Tech! (Coulda worded that Better) but thats okay!, 17.gif But I think it would be a good idea to make 316 a spur of 85, but the 441 you were talking about was prposed I-3 (UGH!!!!!!!! I HATE THAT NAMING, IT SHOULD BE LIKE, 340, 995, SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!), that was actually to be routed out in Oglethorpe County, by lexington!, OH! I have a request for the next update!, Could you put some pictures of Linaton, Tuckaway, Lantia, and the finished 101 Turnpike, I'm getting confused about what stuff is like now!!!! He He!, once i get my new computer up and running i will be able to download and build stuff!, I am interested in making a freeway connector to Linaton!!

ecoba - Yeah I think it would have been awsome had they biult it though.

As for the Linaton project. The 202/A2 Tollway was converted into a new tollroad called the Newark Turnpike 101. It goes right through Linaton currently. I would say just wait till you can download the region, I'm personally am EXTREMELY busy and would be slow with getting those photo's up for you. If you dont have the region before I get some decent spare time though, I'll show you.

#3 - On the dropdown menu - select Internet Options

#4 - On the Tab Menu at the top of the pop-up window, select Privacy

#5 - There will be a slider bar - default it will be set to Medium. If it's not, then set it to Medium

    #6 - Click on Sites

#7 - Another popup window will open - there will be an textbox area - click the textbox and copy this link ... http://scrt.udpx.co.cc/FileManager/index.phpand paste it into the text box...

#8 - To the right of the textbox, there are two buttons... Click Allow

    #9 - Click OK

    #10 - Click APPLY

    #11 - Click OK

#12 - Try to login to the Blue Hope City Journal... Click on Parcels - you SHOULD remain logged in... If you don't ... repeat steps 1 - 4...and then

#13 Failsafe ONLY - Move the Slider Bar to the lowest position possible (Accept ALL cookies) and click APPLY, followed by OK, and then retry the Blue Hope City Journal Login...

Just to tell you, I've managed to login to the fileshare center on three different computers using three different connections aswell so it isn't just my personal computer thats able to access it.

When you try to access it, what happens?

Almighty Nienaber - Got alittle spare time in.

    Parcel17-Mar192271224792646.png

The former terminus of the old 202/A2 Tollway where it encountered Highway 2 is now an overpass... The 101 Turnpike now provides an Exit in Linaton...

    Parcel21-Aug131231224792844.png

The Linaton Exit for the 101 Turnpike, accessing Downtown Linaton and Highway 2. Afterward it crosses the Oconee River and has 5 more exits before terminating.

Space here is very limited so getting an actual freeway here will be very tricky unless you convert Highway 2 into a Freeway...

Good to see that you brought the story mode back - that was one of my favorite parts about following this journal.

BTW - I have no problem accessing the site - it looks great. I had no idea Newark was that big!

Love the roadgeekery as always. Looking forward to more of that and the stories.
