So I just painstakingly widened a road from 4 to 6 lanes and this happens:

I think you should have and RHW-4 Splitter at that exit.

Here's something I came across when scrolling around my city of 50,000 pop.

Its quite funny how the sim's saw a crash and just added to the pileup.

A couple of tips on how to see more traffic (automata):

1 - Check your game settings, make sure the number of cars/sims is set to "High" (or at least "Medium").

2 - Download the "

And if you want even more traffic on your roads:

3 - Download a traffic generator. Search the STEX.

I'm currently using a terrain mod called "Columbus Terrain Mod", but used to have this (at least i think it was this): That mod lifted the height of the map a bit and when i removed it, i got the terrain you see on the picture.
