@Jacky: I see, this makes things rather tricky .... 30.gif

yes, try to make it deeper down the flow, maybe that will do the trick.

I am not sure, maybe ploppable water underneath the falls could help, too, giving at the least the illusion of deep water below the fall. I just have to confess that I haven't tried ploppable water by myself ... maybe John (Darmok) knows better?

Hi, Jacky, how's you?  I see that you are working your usual magic, and that you are building the castle first.  I won't be unemployed for long, and of course I can't wait to start back up with my tour guiding duties.  And of course this castle will need a prince as well, so I nominate Elliot.

That is an improvement for the falls, you now have a nice deep pool at the bottom.  It's good to have Bernhard's excellent eye for realism.  Was it hard to lower the terrain underneath without disturbing the flow of the falls?  When done right, those free flowing stream lots look so natural and now even more so. When I see how nice you've gotten them to look, I have incentive to practice with them.

    Bye for now.

That IS the little dot on the i! 16.gif44.gif

I agree, this is much better - no shallow water and the transition between the falls and the river look absolutely credible this way - inlcuding the shallow water to the left and the right of the fall!

I am glad that I could help you a little bit with this falls!43.gif

    Take care my friend!

Jacq, sorry not to reply to your experiment. I like it. Since the water, near the waterfall's base, runs faster the sea floor would naturally be deeper because of erosion. Cheers, my friend! It looks great!

Some very outstanding natural views there... How long does it take for you to create these scenic areas, and any hints you can give the rest of us that want to recreate such beautiful areas.
