Hi again while we all wait with bated breath for Jacky to do the next update I thought I would share some photos - never know they might give Jacky some inspiration....

HunuaFalls3.jpg

These are the Hunua Falls tucked away in the Hunua ranges about 40 km south of Auckland.

HunuaFalls1.jpg

I have seen this waterfall in full flood - no camera unfortunately that day, but it was impressive! The gap at the top was full with brown churned water, from side to side and the height of the water flow above the rock rim was a good 5 to 10 metres.  The pool was like the crucible of a boiling malstrom cauldron.  You can normally swim in the pool below the fall, it is awesome in summer.  A bit too cold now though we are heading for winter here.

Hunualookout1.jpg

A short bush walk takes you up to a lookout.

The boys are a bit bigger now... this was taken in 2003.

Hi again Jacky,

I think that Craig (abcvs) had a great iodea with his falls pictures....

Here's a picture of "Les chutes Montmorency" or Montmonrency Falls, they're about 20 minutes from home.... As Craig said perhaps it'll give you (yet more) inspiration.... Not that you need any as we all can see!

Here's the pic...

I didn't took this particular one, I picked it up on Wikipedia, it was better than my own!

Have a great day

Hey, Jacky,

It's so great to be back to work--there is a lot to do around here to get the castle ready for the grand opening.  I've been staying at the campground by the Cabin.  The weather has been great, so it's actually been fun.  It's neat to be here before everything gets developed.  It's so quiet, and the other staff and I have the hot tub all to ourselves every night.  Everything is turning out even nicer than it was before.  Isn't that the way it goes with more experience?

Well, see you soon.

Bye for now.

So, Jacky, this area is amazing, I love it.

Just one question? How did you do this, the underwater stuff?
