    NOTE

Hi there! I'm back just for the weekend! Next week is the last with this hawfull army course... we are based on the Simplon Pass (2005 m above sea level) and I'm with a tank division... but, yep, I'm just a "jeep" driver, so, I do nothing throught the day... Cafe (the only cafe-restaurant in this area) eat, sleep, drinking beer... this is swiss army :-(

I'm a little bit busy today, so, I'll post my update tomorrow (or at least sunday)...

    See ya!

    David

Cool university. Nice to see someone not use the game one as usual. I like the game one but it seriously lacks realism.

I love your use of spacing. Making the buildings farther apart makes it accurate to the area you're trying to recreate and adds a sense of openness and realism as well. 44.gif

Beautiful update. I really like the graveyards and the paths. All of the lots are really great. I love the overviews with all the suburbs in this CJ. Great University as well!

    REPLIES

Yeahhh!!! Let's go for the last week to the army! I learned that a friend is in the same region like me for his repetition course! We'll also take a coffee together these uncoming days...

Five day who we'll do nothing... it's really hard to be a soldier for three weeks/year ;-)

To bakercity - Thanks! I tried to do the best as possible, using Google Earth, also, I feel in my opinion a little bit empty...

To flame1396 - The in-game university is not very realistic, too little...  That I showed yet is just a part of the campus, other faculties are next downtown.

To SpecialEddie - Thanks a lot! It's on what I'm working on ;-) It's very spacious (Sometimes I'm desabused on how large it is)

To Teeparex - Thanks! I've got the idea for the path two weeks ago... looks good...

To tomdapom - Thanks a lot tom!!! ;-)

To penguin007 - Thanks my friend! Part II is ready to be uploaded, I'll wait next weekend!

    To bbfan02 - Thanks a lot bbfan02!

To Schulmanator -Right! ;-p   Thanks for comment!

To bighaben - Thanks my friend ;-)

Right, we'll see you next weekend also!

Also, updates will follow this weekend (I called my boss for vacancy next monday, he agreed)

Now, I've accomplished 156 days/240... In 4,4 years I'll finish this bullsh** of swiss army ;-)

I meet some nice guys, with which we have do some nice things (I learned the texas hold'em Poker)

Gosh, I now I'll return next year from half august to september :-(

    See ya!

    REPLIES

To cleaner475 - Lool!!! As seen on a map and Google Earth... It's a really big cemetary... it fits also for the 250'000 inhabitants of the city... Thanks for your comment!

    To Evil_Someone - Thanks a lot....Editor!!!

To KingTitan - Berwyn, IL... isn't it in Chicagoland??? Typic from the Prairie... flat land, square mile grid... Lot of north american cities are derivated from the Mile-Acre Cities' project of FLW...

    Thanks a lot!!!

bbfan02 - If I haven't comment from you this time, I'll ask me some question ;-) Thanks bbfan02!!!

Also, work is in progress... A satellite view would be excellent for our mind...

    SATELLITE VIEW

Not so far to finish ;-) South Lincoln must to be redone, especially along S 10th St and S 16th St (I'll replace the avenues by one-way road and make the area less dense...)

Haha! when I clicked on the link for the larger region pic my Internet Explorer froze! Doesn't matter though, the thumbnail looks smashing anyway. It's just so realistic. A piece of artwork!
