hey there you will find all the info about downloading and installing mods here(but also tons of tips that will enhance your city-building experience ) https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/index.cfm?FTVAR_SUBCAT=137&nocookies=y&subcatname=SimCity%204%20Omnibus as for mods that you need, NAM (https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?p=details&id=380 ) is a must have well you shoulld pretty much explore the modds and downloads as thats the section with pretty much the most important mods. then you should check out the ST-Exchange(aka STEX), it holds about 13000 mods. stex is located here: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1 when you download the file, you should first unrar/unzip it with winrar or such, then read the readme if theres one and put the files into "documents/sim city 4/plugins/"... make sure that you also download the DEPENDACIES - they are files(mods) that you must have installed for your mod to work properly, if you dont have it/them it will only cause troubles... maps are installed differently, that is explained in the omnibus, make sure that you read trough omnibus before you start installing mods. hope i helped - Evil.

great to see its back hehe in the chat the rumor was that a strain cat got into the server room and messed with the cables... i guess its not true. thanx to admins and mods for their efforts on repairing everything.

heres my view of ur cj: pros: great, high detail transit system, good use of skyscrapers, overall detailing and complexity of the city, impressive amount of custom content(bats and stuff) cons:region looks a bit dull, some brown boxes(on purpose?), unused/damaged buildings(on purpose?), a bit too crowded. NICE CJ! Evil.
