Option 4, personally. All I can say about the castle, good luck, this has to be the most complicated render ever. One question though, are you trying for Florida or California?

About the lawyer thing. Whenever I drive thru Simtropolis, I see all sorts of copyrighted buildings and such, left to right. It shouldn't really be a problem. A brief history, there was this Donald Duck arcade ride some time ago, last century. Walt was still around. Anyhow, all of these rides were destroyed by Disney, because they felt infringement. Except for the one I found at this museum. Thats just one case. You know, Mickey Mouse wasn't actually origninally Disney's idea when he came up with the character. He was thinking about naming him Mortimier, which who today, is the rival rat, Mickey keeps facing for Minnie's love. The arguable case is when Walt's wife gave him the idea for the name Mickey from a old toy mouse, not Disney's creation, Mikey, with no c. Hey, I learned from Public Broadcasting.

Just checking in.. Seems like there's a deafening silence in this thread. sigh... College is kicking my butt as usual, and I'm still trying to finish up a Portland project. Is everyone else caught up with RLS too?

Once I get thru the middle of May and Midterms are over, I should be getting to work. 4.gif I really want to get Horizons started ASAP.

Simple.  I bought the Pro version of SketchUp for a couple bucks, and it allows me to export to 3ds.

    ardecila,

SketchUp Pro is $500... I would not consider that "a couple of bucks", though it is a LOT less expensive than 3D Studio Max.

Yeah, I got it.  Unfortunately, I don't think I can help you out.  I barely have time to work on my BATs maybe once a week, so I couldn't do anything very quickly.  I mostly do historical styles anyway.
