Man that is total BS. NAM is a great MOD. There's a reason for it being the TOP MOD DOWNLOAD on the BIGGEST SC4 community site, cause it is a GOOD MOD!!!

Also, if people are angry that their program is not working, do a reinstall, or be smart and always make backups BEFORE you change your game settings or install a MOD!

The older one gets, the more I realize that it does not matter, there is always going to be people like this. It is their life to be a pain. At the end of the day that is what they enjoy. At the end of their life, they are lonely. I see it all the time in bussines. There will be that one client out of 100 that feels it is thier cause to give grief. My advise to this person is simple....get a better computor!!!! This game has given me many hours of enjoyment and relaxation. It's not perfect, but wow what a concept. My son who is 11 can build outstanding cities. What a fantastic learning tool. From planning to economics. Uncalled for, to be sure. But not unusual. One thing I've come to realize in my working life is that every working team has at least one person who makes everything else more difficult for everyone else. Such is life, such is work, such is ST. Eventually, you learn to shrug it off and move on.

ST is a big place, and there are bound to be quite a few people like this. It's unavoidable. The only solution other than what we already do now would be to impose some kind of fascist totalitarianism on the site. I don't want that, and I reckon that nobody else here does either. So, we ignore the nuts, eject the ones who are extremely troublesome, and move on.

So, I'd much rather have this site as it is. Our "captain" has left it to the good crew to manage the ship, and dare I say, we're doing a pretty good job. SC4 is getting old. The heyday is over until SC5 comes out. SC4 would be dead by now, but this site and others like it keep it interesting.

Personally, I don't want to live in a world where everything is perfect and everyone sings the praises of everyone else in a great global love-in. No improvements to be made, nothing to strive for... Ours is a community where constructive criticism is the rule and ingratitude and harshness are the exceptions. If the price of self-improvement, working towards goals and being a part of a vibrant and colorful community is dealing with a few ingrates and nuts along the way, I'll pay it. It's reasonable.

A few ingrates among a community of 150,000 is very good, I think. And the community has a way of dealing with these kinds of people fairly rapidly. Just look at this thread. However, I would request keeping the "hanging" metaphors out of it. No need to get violent.   Rest assured, the staff knows of the issue.

I agree with Zelgadis on this one. For a community surpassing 150,000 members, only a few come around and do this. That shows us how unified this site is of true fans, and how we aspire the best out of the community.

 It was nice to hear from Hordijk too!! I also agree with his post, if you see something or someone that sickens you, try to ignore it. If you think what this person is saying or doing can offend a widespread amount of people, then you should contact the staff members.

We can continue this topic but please try and keep the offensive language and masking to a minimum. Using bad language and flaming might be the spark for trouble.

Well, being a NAM team member, I only can say the turning lanes are optional. If you don't want them, don't install them. I created the installer to give everyone the possibility to (un-)select them in the first place, but if one cannot read, it's his very own fault...

I have used the NAM, love the NAM, swear by the NAM, and if people like this have nothing better to do with their time than start a non-sensical diatribe, then they have no place on this site! Sure, everyone has the right to express their own opinions, but they should do so politely and constructively. If they can't do that ... then I guess a quick boot up the behind through the revolving door should be arranged, followed by firmly locking the door behind them!
