Hi everybody!

This might be a stupid question, but I've spent the last hour looking for VDK trams in 20 different places. The only ones I find are 2 old green ones that I'm not looking for. Recently I had to reinstal Sim City and now I've lost all the stuff I used to have. I would like to find Amsterdam, Oslo, Budapest, Berlin, Bratislava, Prague and those kind of trams. Can anybody help me? Please?!

Hi, jonno!

If you have Rush Hour, you just need to turn off all non-Chicago style in "Building Style" tab in Mayor Mode.

NEW: Uh, does someone know where I can find this building? Tried on the STEX but no results, I think it should be in some Japanese site. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone.

While looking around for car dealers on the StEx, i've noticed there are no american car retailers. I am working right now on an american city and it would be incomplete without it.

So I thought it would be great to have some american car dealerships: Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge... for the ones that build american cities.

there where these handy lots, 1x1, to plop onto streets and I think roads aswell, that fake a connection between parking lots an traffic network. the sidewalks on these lots are cut by a driveway so you can plop them on the street and it looks like there's a connection bettwen the street and the buildings parking lot.

I think it was on the stex so I searched a little but ran out of search-term ideas...

1jas: search "simgoober" w/o quotes in the STEX. he has a plethora of lots for strip malls. the best quality as well.

EDIT: AH-HA! i found it, search wraith90 and u will come up with the parking lots of your dreams. they are peices, so u can make your as u see fit.

Hey guys I gotta quick question.

In the game, Is there any way in getting around the long list ploppables in the parks & recreation toolbar? I'm finding out the more I stack in there, the longer it takes me to scroll through hole list. Sometimes I want something clear at the bottom and it takes me a good 5 minuets to scroll all the way down.

Your best bet is if there are MML (Menu Management Lots) These are lots which act as "display gateways", usually disguised as some kind of "construction lot".. ie with buldozers, workers, etc. When this lot is PLACED it "opens" the menu items and when u delete the lot, it acts to block or hide the menu selections.. This allows you to have the menu when you want to build, but hide them when you don't plan on building them. Of course the actual items must stay in the PLUGIN folder or they will mess up your city.

There are currently a number of them "pre-made" for certain sets such as the huge MAPP amusement park set, etc. I believe the ideal solution is to find out how to make these to customize to your individual needs. I don't know how to do thes as of yet, but when I get my  plugin more "mature".. i've been playing SC4 for wayyy to many years, but have steered away for a lot of "custom" content.. I just like to play the game.. .. hehe.. 

Anyways, when I get my "base set" pretty much the way I want it, I will make lots to fit my menus.. everyone probably has a lot of variation in their choice of lots.

In addition to the MAPP set I know some exist for wall sets and other bits here and there. If you look for "MML" or for menu management, you can probably uncover some.. There is a discussion HERE for starters.. and diggis I think has done a few.. good luck.
