Whew! That's quite an accomplishment, and you've captured the sprawl superbly. Only I problem I have is the airport--it doesn't look that bland. But that's the limitations of SC4, I guess. Overral, excellent job. Maybe a closer look of the downtown?

Thanks a lot. ^_^

@GreekMan: Some pics aren't showing? No, maybe you have to wait a few seconds, because there's a lot of pictures.

And i'll take another image of the Downtown tomorrow. I go to sleep now, it's 3 o'clock here.

wow.......you have a problem. SC4A Sim City 4 addiction. how do you do all this???? I could do this in maybe 5years. exellcent, but your airport is extremely unrealistic, you have terminals surrounded by roads. add runways instead and stuff. plus your zones are too repetitive. other than that excellent job!

    Hey copecopecopecope!

    I love what you do to real-life cities and convert them into SC4. The airport's kinda bland and you really did a good job with sprawl!

    Ever think of combining all of your works into one Cj like Mini-Earth?

    Thanks again to you all.

    Some responses:

    @IDS2: They're all JPEG.

    @J.A.M.: maybe a "Copecope's Museum", but i'm going to do it when i retire.

    @GreekMan: New Orleans comes next.

    By the way, most of you think that i live in the computer, but it's not hard to make this kind of cities. Just print a map of the city (get it in Google Earth) and use that map everytime. 2 hours per day it's enough. I have a fast computer (an Intel Pentium 4: 1 GB. RAM, 128 Video RAM and 2,2 ghz). All the days i can make 4 cities (maybe more); but of course, i use a lot of Mods (like SuperOrdinance or something like that) that makes the game even easier.

    Just a quick question...I'm making an LA look-alike, and am wondering about sprawl. Do you zone low density or medium density to keep it low-rise? Mine won't be nearly as big...only the downtown area, Hollywood, some suburbs, and some beach. When I zone medium, I end up getting too much height, and low doesn't look so good sometimes.

    With low-rise. Try to distribute the comercial and residential zones. And the most important thing, don't use too many industrial zones.

    I'll have to try more distribution. I end up having strips of medium rise commecial along avenues, with low rise houses behind them. It looks alright, but I'd prefer lower commercial...and I don't have any industrial zones at all...thanks for the tips

    Wow, what a huge city! Superb pics, nice looking Palos Verdes in the first 2 pics. You did a great job on the harbor! + I like your South- Central- looking low wealth 'hoods, very LA...Did you terraform everything by hand?? Just curious, 'cause I tried recreating LA, too, and terraforming was a BIG challenge... Very cool job u have done 4.gif !!!!!
