The Cargo city was really impressive, I'll have to get around to re rendering those transports from back in March was it? Another great new start however, and I'd hate to stay in that terminal in 140 degree heat On a side note I couldn't find Khaled on the map for awhile even though I was looking right at it. Also I've downloaded your BATs, they can only be used in a few cities close to the Syrian border, such as Adana, but they are still very useful, thank you!

Imprezza05:Thanks, well I have been  looking at saudi's cities so  i'm sure you'll see some influence I was trying to get away from the whole Dubai feel of the last one. The capital khaled is going to be more like Riyadh though since it is located inland, and yes the country is named after the airport lol

Long time reader and long time lurker. I must say this city is really turning out to be GREAT! Love every detail you put in it. It really does look middle eastern. To me it looks like a fuse between Dubai and Saudi Arabian cities.

Also, your use of my airplane prop really fits in, glad to see somebody finally incorporated it in their cities.

I like how you connected the airport with the avenue and the highway. And those carparks with the transparent base textures just fit there.

In a middle-european area I would have placed noise walls or something similiar but here they wouldn't fit at all - good layout!

I just wonder how long did it take for you to plant all these palm trees at the cloverleaf? Must have taken ages ... I can try and error lots and growables (by zone, wait and bulldoze them if they don't fit) but I am not good at all when it comes to planting single trees ...

 

There's only one thing: instead of interrupting the power lines with the big tanks I would have placed them a bit at the side and continued the powerlines just until the power plant.

If you're implying that Frogface stole the name from you, he probably didn't. It's most likely a coincidence. Don't be drinking the Hater-ade. 

Now to comment on the update (which was my original intention). What can I say? The freeways are perfect with the ring of palmtrees surrounding the interchanges, and the use of the new NAM. The airport in the previous updates were top-notch as well, and the haziness of the pictures really gives it that mirage-like appearance.
