Sup, your work continues to amaze me, my friend.
  2. Jargeah

Been away for a couple months, but glad to see you're still at it. Great work, mate.
  3. Jargeah

Terrific work, sup. This is just one of the things at Simtropolis that continue to keep me coming back.
  4. Mock Town (or city)

Absolutely stunning. I am at a loss for words. Keep up this amazing piece of work.
  5. Super Sticky (Vol 1)

As someone from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I too, wouldn't try this again. I tried it once, but getting everything right takes a lot of time, and a lot of region land to do it on.

The Big Z: Thanks, I'm looking for more custom buildings daily. Teeparex/jacqulina: Thank you, both. lucky7: I think it will be. Cobra_nVidia: Thanks. Kiwi n Grapes: Yep, just put that in after reading your comment earlier. Looks a lot better, imo. NMUSpidey/Explodingsims/Schulmanator: Thank you, guys. Well, here's my 3rd update. Mainly more expansion. The new expansion at night. The new park for the city dedicated to adding more beauty to the city. The city starts to take on a few taller buildings in the north section. Homes starting to appear behind the schools. On the other side of the avenue, a new array of homes spring up. And finally, the city welcomes its first skyscraper. At this time, the population currently rests at 2,555 folks calling River Passes home.

Teeparex: Thanks. Yes, I forgot to turn off the grid in these shots, and for 1 in the second update. On the topic of water mods, I would, but I haven't searched the STEX, but I will now. As for the buildings, I do agree some are, but I usually do that to make the most of the land. waiyeap90/lucky7/jacqulina: Thank you all for the comments. Update 2: I didn't have much time to play tonight, so I was only able to expand a bit. Forgot to turn off the grid. But this shot shows the first expansion towards the south. Compared to the first update, the city is beginning to see the first of her taller buildings. The expansion on the west side of the highway (I forgot how to turn off the zoning lots for this one). With the first part of the expansion done, the city begins to take on a better look. Overview of the current condition. A second road was built from the neighborhoods for the future expansion of the business districts. You can also see part of the new neighborhoods built below the first section. Not sure yet, but I hope I can bring out a better update by Tuesday.

Hello again, everyone. Before I get to the journal, I will inform you all of what I believe should at least be known. 1, I did have a very short journal before. However, life came in, and I could not keep going. 2, in this journal, I do have various BATs, and Mods which include money, ratings, and so on. I don't play SC4 a whole lot, so I sometimes can't be bothered to create a large city over time. Anyways, on to the journal. Fort Alba is based upon a very slightly edited Galveston map, and the city below is Rivers Pass. The neighborhood of Rivers Pass includes various wealthy homes, and a well-supported school system. The entrance to the neighborhood includes a large assortment of flower gardens. The mayor felt the first neighborhood of Fort Alba should have a distinct feature. The elementary school rests on the other side of the high school in this shot. The schools have a surrounding road & fencing to decrease the amount of traffic around it. The high school features a wide broad of sports supported by 2 softball fields, tennis & basketball courts, and a soccer field. High school students, in a way, are allowed a parking lot as well. This picture not only shows some of the coastal homes, but the largest home in the city. And it's not the mayor's. And the business district. The highway leading north leads to the mainland. The road you see heading east leads to a nearby island that is going to zoned for residential. Mayor Diamond has believed that his residents should all have a piece of the good life, and building homes and cities with a view is part of that belief. I should be able to bring another update out tomorrow.
  9. Khaledi Democratic Republic

Awesome. I love the realism of secrecy for the leader's palace.
  10. Jargeah

Appears I have missed a few updates since the end of last year, and I regret doing so. Your nights shots are completely amazing as is the city. You wouldn't happen to be running the Darker Night Mod would you? Anyways, this will be one thread I will continue to follow well into 2008. Keep up this splendid work.

A simply fascinating update. Major kudos to you, my friend.
  13. Khaledi Democratic Republic

    Awesome as always!

It's been too long! Everything still looks great!
  15. Show us your airport!

Fantastic airports everyone! But where on earth do you get these parking lots that actually connect to streets and roads as well as the road/street roundabouts?
