Well, I lost the final battle last night, but I will succeed tonight! Anyway, I think the game is spectacular and I highly recommend it, especially if you played the previous Zeldas. In the series, Wind Waker is probably my second favorite, the original is still the best There are a lot of people who complained about the "Toon Shading" (Graphics are cartoony) but I think the graphics are very well done, I really like the explosion animations.

That makes three games this year that I really enjoy(ed). A banner year as far as I am concerned. SimCity 4, Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Three different gaming rigs 6.gif

Me and my sister are working together at this game. We're up to collecting the triforce charts. We have all the fairy upgrades except one of the arrow ones. We have the magic armor. We have all four bottles. We (currently) have two hearts in the second row. We have all the songs. We know the hurricane spin.

We have a GBA, but not the proper link cable, so we still aren't able to use the Tingle Tuner..But hopefully we'll get one sometime....

Molgera (the giant sand worm boss) was made out in the strategy guide to be the toughest boss yet... and... it was the easiest one yet....

One more thing:

I-HATE-FLOOR-MASTERS!!!!!! They're so annoying!!!! At least you don't lose any health for getting sucked in...

The key to dealing with them (if you have to kill them) is simple enogh, though:
-Never ever stand on the black hole itself. You'll get sucked in.
-If you can't use your arrows on them, walk up to them and then slash 'em and Back off. Repeat until they die. (they will usually come after you, so you need not repeat the walk up to them part.

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.
If you can read this, you deserve a cookie.

A sign that I need to bond with my Gamecube: I can't even remember how far along I am with Wind Waker. Last thing I remember I was sailing the boat around...yeah, that narrows it down a lot, doesn't it? Seriously, I haven't played since April, at least. 34.gif

Yeah, I haven't played Wind Waker in a year since I beat it once.  The main reason is because I'm so psyched about THIS: http://media.cube.ign.com/media/572/572738/vids_1.html?fromint=1 6.gif

Holiday 2005 will be a good one to remember, if only I can wait that long!17.gif

“The American city should be a collection of communities where every member has a right to belong. It should be a place where every man feels safe on his streets and in the house of his friends. It should be a place where each individual's dignity and self-respect is strengthened by the respect and affection of his neighbors. It should be a place where each of us can find the satisfaction and warmth which comes from being a member of the community of man. This is what man sought at the dawn of civilization. It is what we seek today.”

Had to revive this. I know it's almost two years old, but I had to.

I'm borrowing this game from my friend at the moment, and when he wants it back I'm going to go and buy it. This game, for want of a better word, ROCKS.

Everyone says sailing is boring, but I love it, that music... the seagulls swarming the boat... the occasional small island to explore... I love it. So far, I've only just got Master Sword and gone back to Forsaken Fortress. I've beaten Phantom Ganon, and now I'm climbing the tower to get to Aryll.

The hardest part so far was the Tower of Gods, and all the puzzles were a little hard, but I got there in the end!

It IS one heck of a game, and while dissimilar to the standard Zelda games, it's one of my favorites.  My favorite island by far is Windfall Island.  You can hear the traditional Kakariko Village music in the new more "hip" tune, which is beyond cool, and I'm impressed as to how much STUFF there is to do there.

You'll get to the biggest downside of the game soon, Muzz, something that the creator even said that he was disappointed with.  It's actually one of the reasons why Twilight Princess is taking so long, is that they are striving not to repeat the mistake they made with Wind Waker.  See if you can spot what it is.2.gif

Trivia: the "wind God's Aria" or whatever its called can repair damaged signs.

I liked the Wind Temple background music because it's unique.
