Memorial Day in Schulmania

I have had a few inquiries about my current avatar. So, I will deviate from my planned update and give a little background information. Fear not, my teaser pic will come to fruition soon. This extra update is a non-humorous one, but, it does explain the avatar and what's going on in Schulmania right now.

Every year, about this time, Schulminions stop to remember those cats who have used up their nine lives and moved on to kitty heaven. If you have had a cat go to kitty heaven, you may be interested in the link in the graphic above. It's an equal opportunity website; dogs and other pets are also featured there.

If you would like to use a free Schulmania Memorial Day avatar, several are available below. Memorial Day ends Dec 11. On that day, Schulmania celebrates the birthday of Admiral Hestorb.

A special Memorial Day update will be coming soon. It will feature Babalonia, the religious compound on the northern coast of Schulmania (which is actually the southern coast of Schulmania). Some of the older buildings have fallen into disrepair after the harbor silted up and a new port was developed east of the original one. And, some new monuments have been added for Memorial Day - 8 in fact - to commemorate the other 8 lives cats have. So, I will feature a different teaser pic for now. The other one - the mystery one - will be back soon. I hope this has not been too confusing.

1: About 5 minutes. But, it seemed like 100 years... it was rather boring... all that shoot, shoot, shoot... so repetitive.

2: China. Didn't you read the label?

3: Canary (it's in the cat gut - see #6)

4: October was too revolting, so they moved it to July, so they could have their revolution when France and the US had theirs. The new combined multinational revolution day is now known as The Fourth of Bastillesky.

5: Britney Spears hair... like, DUH!

6: Sylvester... since he ate Tweety Bird, who was he founder of their society. Most geographers now refer to the islands as "Puddytat Isles". The Canary Islands name is now archaic.

7: King. How easy was that?!

8: They are originally gray. But, some finches get into the punk look and start dying their feathers to match their eye shadow. Some go for hot pink and others for Barney purple. The latter also have metal studded leg bands and wear black leather hot pants when out in public.

9: A goose!

10: Ha! Trick question... one can only be sure once April & June's missing plane from Sierramonte can be found!

To celebrate the annual Trixie Festival, the Supreme Wirdle commissioned esteemed artist Rocco Gibraltar to create a tribute for the town. Schulmania does have movies, but they are giant flipbooks and creating one is quite difficult. This is the final work he created. It is shown as an embed but may not be of great quality.
