Ordinarily, I just lurk in this thread, as opposed to posting and rating all of the work you guys show off, but I just couldn't stay away this time.  El Burro, that is simply 6.gif.  Seriously, you practically made me smash my head against my monitor when I did the double take.  10/10 44.gif

Mulefisk- Wonderful snowy effects, love it 9.gif 9/10

Ilikehotdogsalot- At first I thought it was some weird looking luminous plant... heh. Great effect though, looks like they've made the fireworks out of depleted uranium... 9/10

Merry Christmas everybody btw. I'll try and get a nice wintery, christmas pic up sometime today (I got a Wacom for christmas 3.gif)

El Burro: Simply jaw-dropping. It looks like it was taken from Google Earth to the untrained eye. 1000/10

Mulefisk: Snow... Nice. 8.8/10

ilikehotdogsalot: If only it wasn't just green. I guess making that pic is hard enough. 9.9/10

El Burro: WOOOOW ! Tell me how you did it, what to do in photoshop and also, where you had those realistic yellow-orange lightpoles. They are more realistic than thoses in SC4. Hey big thanks if you tell me. Oh and I have some skills in photoshop so it won't be tough to tell me that. 20/10 !

Mulefisk: It's snow? Not that bad but it looks like plastic effect. Well 8/10

ilikehotdog: Seriously this one kills, the greens looks pretty good, good work !

Oh and I have one pic, it's about low wealth suburbs in my city. But next time I'll try to send some nicer screens:

Bon... Entouca.

Yep, My last picture, those were fireworks, I blended alot of real life fireworks into the picture, but they were all red and didn't look good, so I had to change the colors so it would look better blended. I wanted to choose a cooler color but green was the one that made it look more realistic.

SIMMANIA: Awesome! It looks really realistic, I like the fog too! 9.5/10

Thorin: Nice effects, but I dont really like the black on it, It makes the pic lose alot of details.

The_sanderson: Looks really good! However, I don't think you should put a fountain in front of a garbage plant 3.gif

ILL Tonkso, Ultimate Realism, two points the school in the middle? and backgardens leading onto the railway, other wise 8/10

sepsis i understand what the effect is ment to portray, however maybe a statue would be better rather than such an odd looking building, personally its a 6/10

ilikehotdogsalot, supper colourful. Diaginals looks un realistic, in a dream world u could build all those buildings on diaginals. 6/10

    Next page....

metasmurf, wow variations of housing, i love the buildings at the very top red ones. 7/10

The_sanderson, Merry xmas , shame all ur pics are too dark. 6/10

skyliner22 looks good, shame there's no cars, surely that avenue would be busy, if it isnt why isit an avenue? 5/10

El Burro intersting lights, only biggy is the lens flare makes it seem like a shoreline to me, 7/10

Mulefisk, for ultimate realism, u may want to draw tire tracks in the snow? 6/10

ilikehotdogsalot, lmao very good, u just merge a pic ontop? very good ill give u a 7/10 for inspiration and humour!

    SIMMANIA perfect fog, 8/10

Thorin personally its too dark, 6/10

The_sanderson that recycle station looks perfect there!!! well done only thing is pavment issues and half ur statue is missing, and maybe the plaza is too much, 7/10

There's some really nice stuff on the previous page.  Everyone else seems to be rating it so I'll refrain from such.  Makes me realize what Photoshop can do to these pictures.

Here is a picture of what most of my city building has been composed of in recent months:  suburban sprawl.  This picture is about five miles north of the major city Mantua, in its outer suburbs.  This is a very typical shot of the suburban sprawl that surrounds Mantua...

Cjah - Not 100% realistic, but awe inspiring nonetheless.  Those are really cool construction lots - 7.9/10

Aaronperry - Feels very sterile and planned, sort of like you're doing urban renewal to that ghetto down there.  SOme very interesting BAT choices, though, most of which I have never seen - 7.1/10

    As well, in response to:

is those houses in the center of the picquote>

Are you referring to the UK-style buildings?  No, those are commercial and, I believe, made by one of the batters of the BSC.  I use the UK-style buildings in suburbia to mirror the "town center" style suburban plaza construction that is popular a lot around here - stuff like Ballantyne Village (link), for example, that is detached from the community at large yet still attempts to emulate a small town downtown.
