112233- Its Scorchin's Flora set , some kick ass stuff in there. Great image btw... hate to be a fisherman sailing through those breakwaters though, its a pretty small gap. 8.5/10

The Sanderson- I'm impressed with this one, those green buildings at the bottom do it for me, they look almost Alienesc. I can also sence abit of network planning too... multi lane avenues, some one way streets and hardly any 4 way interchanges. 7.5/10

This is my favorite thread in Simtropolis. I love the "sense of place" some of you have.

I'd put up a picture of my own, but the only one I have is from SimCity3000! I'd nearly given up on Simcity4, I couldn't believe how boring it was compared to SimCity3000 where I could "plop" any building and make my ideal city. But now that I've found this site - not only can I do that, I can download a bunch of new things that look even better than what came with SimCity4!

Now I just need more than 256k RAM...

Yeah, SC4 is pretty crazy, if the Dev's had just thought a little harder, SC4 could have been the ultimate city Simulator. I guess they should really thank all the people on this site and some others making the mods and the BATs, if it wasn't for them, SC4 would have died back a few months after Rush Hour was released in 2003.

Time for me to make some long overdue ratings in this thread.

El Burro: That sludge gives a good effect to the picture, I like the huge pipes too, 9/10.

112233: Picture 1: I like the harbour area, well detailed too, 8/10. Picture 2: Again, good work, I like the foliage, 8/10.

The_sanderson: Nice, though some of the smaller buildings look maybe little too repetitive, 7/10.

el burro, everything about that picture just kicks ass

112233, it just seems so... forced. try making it feel more natural. second shot is slightly better, yet those trees ruin the cramped feel. last one... things are just once again cramped. try putting the garbage facilities out by the slums, and watter in the less dense areas.maybe either tunnel, sink, or replace the rail line

the sanderson, you're starting to get it. nice job with the boulevard

hawkeye9, area looks nice... but really bad angle

specialeddie, nice canals... rail system is pretty awesome too

112233- Good pic, but like everyone else has mentioned, Garbage Incinerators next to high wealth areas tends not to look that great. I can see a few mucky buildings there too. 7/10

Hawkeye- Nice close-up, but the grass could do with some tree's 7/10

112233- Everything seems awfully wobbly... could have done with a little bit of terraforming The north looks nice though 7.5/10

SpecialEddie- Nice skyline, if it wasn't a night shot it would look lifeless, so good choice. River is good but it looks a little too uniform. 8/10

Sorry if it seems like my rates are harsh, but my stomache hurts and I need to take it out on somebody... lol...
