Charming, i especially like the rocks and trees. Underwater parts look a little wierd in a few places though. Still, 9.5/10



Heres some woods and a road and rail route in one of my cities. The stream on the right has a culvert that is difficult to see due to the obscuring trees.

Ive got a picture i want to show, its from my Story Journal (i guess i better call it that, with the ammount of text i use). it was however not Photoshopped by me, but by ilikehotdogsalot. On commission by Yoman, however this is one of the best photoshoped pictures i have had the oportunity to show so i really want to make it worth every minute of time ilikehotdogsalot has spent on it!

ive decided to start rating more seriously as omg10/10 is gettting abit boring for me

lovely picture and lovely photoshopping, but i have to quibble the realism too, there are to steep a gradient from downtown to suburb. namely there is a park with the tallest building in shot on one side and small eurpoean houses on the other... it does seem abit iffy, but the it is a nice photo.

good plugin choice, all look very good together bar the jefferson memorial. it looks to white compared to the temple next door. futhermore its a shame the terrain is not flat at one point. its stcks out like a sore thumb. the plaxa choice s nice and for me the dark green vegitation is perfect with the union plaza. the photoshopping is abit too bright, you are losing detail on blahdys big dig lot.

not bad for a maxis only photo. firstly with a scene that bright and rich with that style of housing, conifers and oaks should be replaced by istrianus and palms. it looks like LA in northern germany lol. secondly dirty industry in a hogh wealth area is a huge nono, i assume your using some no pollution mod or you are very lucky for the mansions to grow there. that chemical tank in the corner lost you at least 2 points.

xiziz 7/10,

the effort is there but there are a few problems with the picture. firstly where you have the ships reflection in the water you would infact have deep black shadow. there are no lights on the ship or shining on that side of the ship thus it would be dark. secondly the line of smoke from the chimney is far too straight, there is very rarely absolutely no wind on the sea and even the slightest breeze would break up the plum. and finally what on earth is that light, is it some kind of asteroid impact or just an explosion, its not very clear. the 7 is for the effort, but could have been thought out abit more.

now i am not having a go at anyone so don't take my ratings personally, i tried to justify my ratings in a clear and honest manner. now i choose not to photoshop my images as i feel i would rather be judged on my ability in game. but if you choose to rate me down for not photoshopping thats entirely up to you, all i'll say is i will not down rate anyone who chooses not to photoshop. if you do i will rate accordingly.

now to the urban sprawl that is the morton ghetto.

capitol1: 6/10 it's just not right, those low wealth houses don't really fit next to those low wealth appartments, for some reason. and also those high wealth buildings on the right, they're in the wrong place.
