Wow... impressive... what a golf course! Lucky.. Marquians? What is the golf center building and those curved ones with the glass roofs? You have a great sense of what buildings to use!

fox, you truly amaze!!! I am somewhat of a "lurker" in the forums and don't give comments like I should but after actually looking at some of the ways you've done the water fronts I've gotta ask,how in the world do you get the inner malta pieces not to have land in the corners and still have them at a decent elevation?

Mikeaut1 ... Thanks so much for the great comment. Really glad you liked it.

Leech10 ... Green is good! Not too many people in the bunkers ... but then again I guess it is a new course so people aren't use to it yet.. they'll get better.

Godzillaman ... Thanks for the comment .. what exactly do you think is great about it though? Feed back is always helpful!

ilikehotdogsalot ... I appreciate the great comment. It took me a few days to lay it all out, but I think it was worth it, and spending a day there would be great ... I could do with a holiday.

football_fever ... Once again thanks for the comment, really glad you like it and thanks for the welcome back. I still look forward to that pm when you think of it.

Yoman3 ... Glad to hear you copying your replies.. hehe, life saver here at Simtropolis. Thanks for the huge compliments too, they are ery motivating. I'm glad you liked the photoshopping I did too, I wanted to enhance the pictures, I think I've found a balance now. With Somy's stuff .. I just zoned 6x6 and they came up everywhere... very lucky I was .. they look great too.

Evil Muzz ... Thanks for the comments my friend. As for a round ... you can be on the house if you ever decide to drop by, being a VIP and all. Normal price would be a bit step though, cause it is 19holes I think, on a very scenic location. But don't worry, there are other cheeper course people can use as well.

2ch.net simplayer ... Props make the world go round ... well fill in the cracks of the every day to day fuctions of the sims. But thanks for the comments though.

tankmank ... Really glad you liked it that much and thanks for the comments too.

natuurzoon ... Thanks for the kind words, and about that clubhouse .. yes I did. The original crashed my games when I went to plop it down no matter what I did or how many dependencies I downloaded to try to fix the problem. What really inspired me to re do it was the lack of help from people to try to fix the issue. So I made a new one, then I made a few addition lots that are going to be in this update.

jacqulina ... Once again it is always a pleasure to see you here. Thanks for the great comments, the scenic aspect was inspired by your CJ my friend. I wanted something that would remind me of the beauty of open areas and greenery.

tommiej ... Glad you really liked it and such kinda words too.. thankyou. As for that regional pic.. still awhile off, but I'm slowly fixing up little areas of my city so it looks better rather than the spawling mess it has become.

Simfan34 ... Thanks for the comments. Those buildings you ask about are dmscopio's bats he created for the NHP FLOG Project for golf clubhouses ... you can find the originals on the SC4Devotion exchange.

CarmineHilton ... Such a great way to express your opinion, although short it gets to the point. Thanks for the coment though, I really appreciate it. Thanks also for that great cruise port area in Movia.

sebbyb07 ... I appreciate your comments ... Your comments make me feel as though I done my job. If you've walked away feeling inspired then you have made me a happy person. Thanks for the kind words too. I look forward to seeing what you can come up with for your own cities.

dmscopio ... Thanks for the comments ... I guess after not being able to use the originals I had no choice but to relot them. I think they are more suited to my city as they are now though. Feel free to use my pictures, keep in mind they are mosaics to keep within the rules of this site, if they leave gaps in your blog, let me know I'll send you the originals that are in one piece. You are one of my favourite batters so it would be a pleasure to see them there. I'd appreciate you posting a link to my CJ too and perhaps a little credit if you don't mind. I look forward to the rest of the bats you produce ... stay in touch my friend and let me know of any updates to your blog.

sithlrd98 ... I appreciate you coming out and posting, I feel honored, but as for your question ... it puzzles me, as I have never had that trouble before. One way you could try fixing it could be to lay roads adjoining the area before plopping the piece, or making sure you place it first before the others, another way is to make sure the area is at the lowest posible elevation to start with .. perhaps ask the SC4Devotion team for a few helpful hints too.

On with the update I guess ... Here's a look at the Golf Resort condo accomodation... To start off with ... a look at the front and rear views. All condos have a view of the pond. All have access the the bbq areas around the main buildings. Set of green parcles of land they blend in with the surrounding area. There are pool facilities too ... kids must be supervised though.

    Scenic Setting !

    wubeigolfresortsmi08fn6.jpg

Located adjacent to the Wubei Golf Resort and opposite the condo accomodation is the Genni's Childrens Park. A source of entertainment for the youngsters while their parents play golf . The little green building along side it is the child care facility. The resort employs care takers to look after the children in the park too. Hours are 7 till 7 and after those hours it is parents responsibility. The park is also has 24hour surveliance for security and safety.

Once again ... thanks to every one that commented on the last update .. I look forward to peoples opinions on these latest pictures too.

    As always ... Enjoy! 36.gif

Thanks for the amazing reply Fox, I'm glad that my comment make you feel like you have done your job, because you defiantly have. I would love to stay at this resort, although the name of the child care facility is a little suspect. reminds me of a Scandinavian I know, the lake and the accommodation is awesome, thank you very much for sharing your outstanding work with us.

    Much Love,

Hmm...those condo's are very interesting BATs that I don't think I've ever seen before, and you've clearly given them a nice lot also. Your photo shopping impresses me again bringing out the trees alot in the photo of the canals. What a most impressive sight that must be in real life. The playground looks quite fun as well 3.gif

Absolutely stunning city you've built there Fox!  I really like how well you have integrated the parks into your city's urban areas, which give it a very organic feel.  I have a question though, I was wondering where you found those tropical looking sea walls, as well as those retaining walls and stairs.  I couldn't find them on the STEX, so I'm guessing there on another site.

Anyways, great CJ, I look forward to seeing more! 48.gif

scififan68 ... Thanks for the comment, it would be helpful to know what exactly you do like though so I can improve or change things you don't, ect,ect...

Godzillaman ... Thanks for the comment .. I love the golf course sets you can find around the place ... makes it great to fit them in odd shaped lots or as big or as small as you like. The condos are from a lot released on SC4Devtion, unfortunatey many people have issues with it crashing their games, me being one of them. I had to make that myself ...very easy to do in the LE.

jayo ... Thanks for the commet, virgin to my CJ hey ... well welcome. I hope to see you here again soon, perhaps with a bigger comment, perhaps leting me know what you like... helpful hints to help me improve ect...

natuurzoon ... Glad to see you back again ... bummer about that lot and the problem it causes.. well I guess you'll have to make your own like I did ... Goodluck!

jacqulina ... Always a pleasure to see you back here my friend. Thanks for those awesome comments, I really appreciate the helpful feed back you always give. ... Woah 23,000 posts ... you must have sore fingers from all that typing ...lol

pipishere ... I appreciate your great comments, I really do. Such kind words, although I think a little over the top .. but I'll accept them any way .. hehe. I look forward to talking to you again soon as well ... Thanks for the hotel too ... looks great.

Simfan34 ... Once again I ask that you elaborate on your comments instead of just a few words, I can't really gain much from 4 words.

sebbyb07 ... Once again thanks for the great comments, much appreciated when they are more than 4 words that say .. Great .. The Ambassador idea sounds like a great idea I'd love to look in to... also still looking forward to seeing a CJ from you.

Yoman3 ... Thanks for the great comment my friend, I really appreciate them. Thanks for the feed back on the photoshopping too .. very helpful comments from you, I love it, keep them coming.

sithlrd98 ... Yup .. page 34! Wow... thanks for the kind words I'll be sure to fast track citizenship and the papers when you find a place you like... hehe

Glenni ... My pleasure my friend... I like to name things after people who have been of great help to me and giving you a pressence in my CJ helps to say thanks and reminds me of the help you've given me. As for security... it's the best!

Leech10 ... Thanks for the comments ...scenery is beautiful I agree. I appreciate your effort for the extended comments lately too.. helps to know what you like.

penguin007 ... Glad you like it. Green is good. Esppecially when it comes to resorts, helps to maintain that wildlife at the door feeling of getting away in the big city.

zzsim ... First up, thanks for the great comments. Secondly, for those lots.. the sea walls are ---CSX WFK Malta--- from the SC4Devotion site and the retaining walls are ---Retaining Walls--- and ---Staircases--- by a Japanse batter. Goodluck!

bokrif ... Thanks alot for the great comment I really appreciate it. Great to chat with you the other night too, I hope some of my ideas help you to create a more ideal city for your own needs. Good luck too.

Now ... on with the update!

First up ... here's another look at the Wubei Waterfront ... This time a good look at the cruise port that adorns this area and finishes off the area perfectly in my mind.

    wubeiwaterfrontsmi04adr3.jpg

    wubeiwaterfrontsmi04bia3.jpg

Moving on to another part of the Wubei Waterfront is a section dedicated to the Alicante School or Art. The new building was funded though a donation from an anoymous philathapist who is rumured to be one of the Hong Kongs biggest on screen stars ... although they are only rumours. More pictures coming very soon for this beauty....stay tuned!

Finally ... here is a look at the future site of the BMW Regional HQ. Located in the City center on an old car sales lot construction has started and the final design will be shown next update ...

    bmwregionalhqsmi01bx2.jpg

Don't forget to check out the latest addition to the ---Royal Alicante Hotel--- Chain located in ---Leon-Owen - Royal Cytheria---

    As always ... Enjoy!  36.gif

About two pages back, someone rudely asked what some of the buildings were. I was also wondering what that first one was...it's such a beautiful hotel, and a long one too! I think I've seen that dome type thing before, but I don't remember the name of it. Any help with these two buildings would be appreciated though. And your city is so lovely, This is one of my favorite City Journals, I've never seen such great use of the Maxis building tools, and the custom content, it all blends together so well, and you did a great job with photoshop.

This is most impressive work fox, your attention to detail amazes me. I honestly don't think i could ever spend that much tim developing areas like you seem to. I havent been able to read all 30 something pages but have you posted a full region shot? I would love to see the region as a whole. Your work is truly inspiring, I cant wait to see more. Oh and I love all the golf courses, may i ask what golf pack you are using, it doesnt look like the one I created soo long ago.
