You're still doing marvelous! Those suburbs are really nice! Though I wouldn't want to liver there, waaayyy too American so pedrestrian-unfriendly.

Airport is also nice, maybe a big runway for such small airport, but that's alright.

    Good job!

    Hey man,

I have a challenge for you. I think you should find a realistic map, then make a realistic looking city of your own design.

    Great so far.

    Hey Mr. Beer -

Great update yesterday.  I really like that area of R$$$ homes. Looks very nice with that open space between the streets. Everything else is lovely as always.

And the next-to-last zoomed out shot loooks incredible!! That is quite an area you have developed. And it looks soooo realistic.

    Can't wait for more!

    Salut Mr. Beer. Ça va?

I'm sorry for my lack of visits lately, I was a little busy with uni work (I'm having my base examination this autumn) and last week I was aux Franches-Montagnes dans un cours de mesurage de l'EPFZ. And of course, the FIFA World Cup had consumed a lot of my spare time too...

Anyways, now that I'm back I'm impressed with your updates my friend. Very nice details once again. I like the suburbs and malls in Florence, very nice touch. The airport looks awesome, very realistic scale and impressive layout. The streets of Carter Lake look pretty, I like the shop row fronts along the main streets, very nice touch. And of course the suburbs look very nice too. Also great job on the university campus, looks great. North Omaha Airfield is greatly done. It's amazing how space consuming a small airfield can be already. However, I like the detailed terminals a lot. The parking lots are a great detail.

It's really a pleasure to follow this CJ. I hope you'll have your SC4 game back soon...

    Take care my friend.

    - Phil

    REPLIES

I'm waiting for my game ... I'll kill my friend soon ... ;-)

To asturianu: Wow, probably it's called Joerg's Airport pack or simply Airport pack, but not sure, you will find it on the STEX, you have some topics on the forums about it...

and my english is not perfect too ;-)

To kant01: Thanks! =) I hope to have my game back...

    To lardonbur: Thanks my friend!

To PhilsCafe: I'm alright, I'm working these times, its hard to wake up at 4.00 am... but its funny to drive trucks for Migros!

Yes, me too, but now its holidays! Hope you appreciate the Franches-Montagnes and the french people ;-)

    Many thanks for your comments!

It's a pleasure for me to read your comments!

    Cheers mate!

To salut221: Merci!!!

    Encore merci!

To Greenbean418: I'm wishing too! But don't worry, updates will come! Thanks!

To Shadow_Assassin: I do, but I'm waiting that my friend gies my game back...sorry!

I am usually considered to be a very patient person, but the waiting is draining it right to the bottom. As I have mentioned in my own cj Riseley, this journal has been a huge source of inspiration and I can only hope to achieve the same level of brilliance. I sincerally hope your friend will stop by soon ... I am going cold-turkey as we speak!!

Lol, why did you lend your game to a friend... I mean you know how addictive SC4 can be, right?

Hope you appreciate the Franches-Montagnes and the french people ;-)quote>

I'm back already... it's been a beautiful landscape (gorgeous weather & a lot of horses), but I'm glad to be back in Switzerland (j/k lol). No really, but les Jurassiens can't hide that they're that close to France... It's quite different to other parts of the Romandie there (I can only speak for Lausanne and Fribourg though).

Anyways, I'm looking forward to your next update. And I can only back NicolaiS: This CJ is an inspiration.

Take care and drive save 2.gif.
