Hello These are the first Pictures optained from Sloppeto Hill

Enjoy!

Your Image

One way to get to the hill is to arrive by an ATA Tram on the Suburban line. You must take an elevated walkway over the tracks to the path to get into or out of the station.

A second Picture showing the walkway clearly.

This is the park enterance area. Where you begin to have fun on sloppeto hill.

In the center of the park is Harof fountain, the largest fountain in the city.

There is also an observation tower which provides excelleny views of the city.

A theater where entertainers can perform at no cost and you can watch at no cost.

Thats all for today thanks!

Yoman3 -

One of your best updates yet!!!! Just beautiful parks. Reminds of some botanic gardens I was just in rescently.  I love the way the path ways slopeat different angles than the gardens next to them.  Also love the use of the tower and the ampitheater. All of it looks so nice.

Also really tram station area. That terrain looks just lovely!!!

Great work!!

This is the tunnel that leads under the Hills. This side of the hill is the one facing the city and most of the skyline.

Your Image

On top of Darmokoa hill there use to be an Ottomon Weapons Factory. Taken over by the Communist government during the CIvil war it was burned to ground and destroyed in an explosion caused by the Rebals (the Ankarans). Today the old Factory is a market where many products can be bought.

Your Image

The market is seen here before opening where the tents have not been set up yet.

Your Image

The Quakik Resturant on top of Darmokoa Hill is rated 5th best in the city.

Your Image

And observation point was built and provides views of the suburbs of Ankara with small mountains in the backround.

Your Image

An observation tower provides views of the Downtown, uptown, and the rest of Ankara.

And now an overview of both parks and hills.

Yoman,

That's a very nice park area, well thought and also well done, I was wondering why there was old chimneys in a park!! And then read your explanation, and it's really original thinking! Just a bit sad that the restaurant is just rated 5th! though, but hey! I'm sure the food is excellent anyways! Those critics sometimes.....

Thanks for than very kind gesture!

Take care

-John

Hey Yoman3

Everything looks great! Fantastic update! The park is just beautiful. The little tram area is really lovely with those pedestrian overpasses and all those walkways look so nice. I like your little background story as well about the weapons factory-turned-market.

And the final overview shot of the park is just beautiful. Keep up the amazing work!
