My only idea is that somehow you installed an earlier version of the RLS Essentials file.  It shouldn't happen, but re-installing the Eon Center should fix it.

Hey SG I was just wonderin could you make another Target Store.I like Joergs but I think you could do really well on one of these.Plus his only has 24 jobs.Which doesn't seem realistic.Plus I was wonderin are you ever going to finish the Hilton you did last year I was really really lookin forward to it.

hey SG, i've downloaded almost all your stuff and must say that it is extremely good. one problem: some of the files, when dloaded, don't become winzips and instead bear an installation sign meaning i can't extract the files. is there anyway to fix this? oh, and some of the buildings are the RLS Swedish homes, Eon Center, Coca Cola Building, and the RLS Resort.

@ topcliff: If you're using a windows PC, those files should be executable by double-clicking them.
However, if you have a Mac, you won't be able to use .EXE installers. Please refer to the BSC Mac Archive to find Mac-compatible ZIPs. Here's the link:

i don't know if having a 2001 XP Inspiron from Dell would do anything. also, the same thing happens with PEG. so, i'm not a Mac user.(except for iPod)

Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that the install program we are using will, on occasion, overwrite a newer file with an old.  This seems to be happening with the RLS Essentials file I use for the queries.  If you install a lot that is older then the most recent, there is a chance it will do just that.

For now, the fix is to re-install any of my most recent releases; this will not affect anything in game as to already extablished lots, but will re-install the most current essentials file.

 

My plan for the future is to release the Essentials file as a separate download, so the version on the STEX is always the most current.  I will then go back and update older lots, to remove it.  It's a little trickier than it sounds, as I'm not 100% sure of all the lots I have included it in.  It should be in most of them, but I need to verify them all, and it's about 40 or 50 lots.... 

 

We have contacted ClickTeam, who makes the installer, and made them aware of the problem.  They have promised to fix it with the next update; but are not sure when that will be....

SG that building is insane.I don't know if you read my last post or not but I really think you should do a Target.I still think you could do alot better on one.I also think you should do another style of the Hilton.and last I definitely think you sohld do a Westin Hotel.

OK, the newest Denny's install fixed teh query issue, except for the Java Huts, though i'm not even sure they ever had queries..
Speaking of Denny's, what does one have to do to get the classic Denny's unlocked?
It appears in my landmarks menu sometimes, but greyed out, and other times it doesn't show up at all.

I'm getting the final version of the essentials files together... it might be up tomorrow.

The Classic Dennys is a hidden reward, which should become available after two of the standards are either grown or plopped.  You can only build one of them, after which it will be on the reward menu, greyed out.

Hmm, so the classic Denny's sometimes appearing in the landmarks menu is a bug then?

Sorry, should have said the landmark menu.  I put most rewards on the reward menu, but in this case I put it on landmarks, so it would be on the same menu as the regular styel Dennys.

I haven't decided for or against the Bass Pro Shop; I like the idea, just haven't done much BATTing as of late.  RW has kicked in a lot.  Most of the lots I will be uploading in the next week or so have actually been done for a while; I have been tweaking the lots and playing them in game more to be sure they perform as I want.  I am making stuff more and more to suit my playing style lately, and mostly stuff I want to use myself.

I was wondering can it be possible that I leave my old set of your props instead of downloading the mega prop pack? Or did you updates some props? Because I feel like it is going to be a pain searching each prop of yours on the stex then searching it on my plugins folder.

 

Another question is are you going to update any of your older lots? Just wondering

I am updating a few here, a few there.  No specific plan or order, just when I notice one really out of whack, or find the time.  I have updates for two more pending ; Best Buy and Toys R Us.  The Toys R Us in the origonal form tended to grow like a virus lol, but I seem to have fixed that.  They will be coming up on their one year anniversary dates soon, and I plan to update them then.

And there are a couple minor updates to the prop packs, but nothing drastic.  You probably won't notice any difference if you keep the old.  I eliminated a lot of un-necessary stuff that would slightly slow down the game while loading, but it is not that noticeable.  There is one prop pack in the MEGA pack that is not released otherwise yet, but no lots released use it.  I included it now, as I didn't want to have to update it soon, and have everyone re-download it.  Once a lot is released that uses those props, it will also be made available separately.

Juat a quick idea to go with your new dancer lots (Deja vu etc) Try one of the bunny ranch in Nevada, great for long haul truckers and also serves as a truck stop/motel as well as the oldest brothel in Nevada. Keep up the excellent work.

Oh thanks for fixing the toys-r-us, I can't bulldoze those fast enough, despite how good they look, I've had upwards of 30 in even samll cities. 

I like the latest lots too, guess no large billboards to go along with the joints, or perhaps to distracting for those playing the game.

Well, it seems everyone likes the idea of some shady businesses... I have a couple others I have been playing with a while.  They are a little more radical in nature; they lower the mayor ratings. One of them grows quite proficiently as well (makes the Toys R Us look tame!).  You get enough of these in your city, and things get rather , um, interesting.  Who says riots aren't fun?

Here's a shot of one of them.  Didn't notice until I looked, but I only have the one picture. I hadn't planned on uploading them anytime soon, as they do grow too easily.
